Our Dutch gem. I am 48 years old now, and i remember how exciting it was and it still is when a new part of the park was developed. Het spookslot, de halve maan are some of my earliest memories. I was a little boy holding the hand of my father because I was scared in het spookslot. My dad past away 11 years ago and all of these memories are so important to me. That's what the Efteling stands for for so many of our Dutchies. Creating memories.
I live nearby at the Efteling and been there since my childhood, and still like the park a lot. I have great memories of the Efteling and even workd there for two years. Great vlog by the way>
most people from other countries don’t understand what this park means to us. as a dutch i have visited the park since i was 2 years old. The fairytale forest and all the darkrides were such a big factor for my imagination. and when we went home, i sang the carnival festival theme the whole route back. Many great memories and many to expierence. Great vlog!
What a stunning place, and a beautifully made vlog of it,my favourite was the first dark ride through the Arabian city, but that drop on the last ride the Baron, terrifying. Many families make such a big thing of the Disneyland parks, and no disrespect to them, but then there are places like this to visit and I bet a lot of people have never even heard of it,I never had until I started watching your vlogs,a thoroughly enjoyable watch on this rainy day in South Yorkshire, thanks so much for sharing,Pete x
You know what? The best thing about the Efteling is that all the attractions feels connected. It's all the Efteling, so I feel it's hard to choose what's my favourite attraction. Actually? It might be the most underrated part: the park itself. All the trees, the landscaping, the paths, the statues... It is a genuine park. Not just a place with darkrides & rollercoasters, no, The Efteling is first and foremost a park. And I love it for that.
When you get the chance: do a Winter Efteling ;) You will not regret it... OK, so the Piraña and the Flying Dutchman will be out of order (too cold), but a walk through the fairytale forest at dusk is something you will not forget.
You guys have captured this park perfectly. Such an amazing vlog from an incredible park! I love how you show off not just the attractions but the amazing food they offer too! Smashed it guys. Shows you can still have a wicked day even when its on the busy side!
I can remember the last time you vlogged here. Proper theming around the park and top pov's. Your obsession with the pancakes is quite disturbing 🤣🥞. Shame you missed some of the rides but can now use it as an excuse to return for more pancakes(rides). Well impressed that Stacy's parents still love coasters. Another entertaining vlog 😁👍🎢🥞
I am so glad i came across your channel. I watch many of the UK themepark/funfair channels and love them, but your content is so refreshingly positive. I adore it! Wish i had known you had a channel when i watched the vlogs on Coaster Crazy with you! Ok, back to binge watching your older content! 🎉🎉❤
@@TomandStace I like Flying Dutchman most after sunset ... lol ... (same with Piraña , and the Sprookjesbos & Raveleijn & Lavenlaar... haha , and of course Aquanura). Reason ? In the dark with the fairy tale like lighting, it is making everything even more magic.
Vogel rok seems very boring because you don’t see anything on camera. But when your in it you see much more lights and birds. Also you’re going very fast so that gives the feeling you don’t really know where you’re going. It’s a brilliant ride in the best themepark of the world! (I don’t really know how to say it because I’m from the Netherlands. But I think like this: I have a subscribement on the Efteling and I go very very much to the Efteling and it’s a beautiful themepark. Nederlands= Ik heb een abonnement dus ik ga heel heel vaak naar de Efteling en het is een prachtig pretpark!). Thank you for the beautiful vlog and the good review of our Dutch biggest themepark!😊🤩
I know how you feel, been going to Efteling since I was a little Dutch baby. Never will I stop getting sad (literally to tears, when I was younger) when the park has to close and the day is coming to an end. Nowadays they even play a melancholic sweeping soundtrack especially made for that time, thanks Efteling! :P But like days at the park, vlogs from the park like yours, also give me a similar "I don't want it to end!" feeling. Thanks for sharing my favorite park, it was a lovely time. Now, curious about the reactions of my favorite coaster - Taron!
Defo would love to get here one day in 2021 if possible! Great upload, glad I came across this channel looks like you’ve got some vlogs from other parks I need to check out - Nick
Hi Tom and Stace now this is what you call a themepark amazing. I wish we had one like this in the UK. Really enchanting so beautiful Tom your filming was excellent the music you added to the vlog was so appropriate for the park. Love to you all love Tracey xx
I can also highly recommend the Winter Efteling. I am so happy to go to Efteling next week because i have not been on the newest attractions. So glad its a Netherlandish themepark so i do not have to travel to far to see it.
I really want to work in this park but unfortunately it’s a little too far away ;( (I live between Eindhoven and Maastricht and we always drive one hour to the Efteling)
I'm just at the start of the video, but I heard you talking about the entrance. Well now. When the entrance was still fairly new, I wanted to see it so much myself that I took my parents to the Efteling and yes... The entrance alone is why you need to go to the Efteling at least once. :) It's an architectural wonder: The House of the Five Senses. That's its name. And the pancakehouse has a name: Polle's Keuken, which translates as Polle's Kitchen. Polle being an old southern Dutch name. A very well done name. Greetings from the south-west of the Netherlands.
Missing the Efteling so much Beautiful vlog ! We live 1,5 hours away from it by car We go every september , the week of my daughters birthday for 4 or 5 days She already is talking about it now every day ,i hope we can go And then with her little brother , who we are expecting in the beginning of June
Loved this vlog, me and my partner are planning a visit in November. Would you say we need 1 day or 2 days? Have you stopped in the hotel before? Thanks
I remember when the vogel rock was new. My sister went and she said it was so scary. Many years later i went to the efteling for the first time at an age that i could remember and tried it and frankly i was disappointed it wasnt very scary. But nowadays i just like it for the ride it is.
It is nice to see a vlog from someone who is such a big theme park fan. I live near the efteling and have been 4 times this year. Worked there two seasons about 24 years ago haha. Because I have a subscription I don't always have to go on the rides, but just walking around the park is also ok then.
See the history of the Efteling and more about the park on "Efteling From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The story tells "Dreaming with your eyes open" and that's true when you visit the Efteling in Holland
Your technique is perfect. Your video transitions are amazing and your commentary is perfectly balanced. I will watch everything you guys do. Thank you.
Efteling started as a playground and then it became a fairytale forest and a few years later it became a theme park. Almoste all of the fairytales and decorations are inspired by drawings of Anthon Piek. You should look him up on google his drawings are super magical and classic. Efteling usally adapts the darker grimm fairytales to their park so it can be a bit creepy.
