    Now that I think about it, the fancy time signature experimentation in Plok! lends itself perfectly for a jazz arrangement.

      Most of the song is in 8/8 (except the intro which is in 7/8).
      It has nothing to do with the odd time signature though. Time signatures won't make a song "jazzy".

    Such a richness of sound. A strong bass brass missing in my life since hearing Blood, Sweat, & Tears' Go Down Gamblin'. It was an awesome song to begin with, but in its arrangement by someone who not just understood the source material but found space within an already technical piece to make his own compliments, it gets that extra boost into the sublime. I am a fan.

      I've listened to a few interviews with him, I don't think he's down on it necessarily, just that he did it a long time ago and he is in a different industry now. The internet etc didn't exist in 1993, so he had very little feedback on how good his music was at the time, apart from those of whomever he was developing the games he was working on

      I would love to, but these recordings and videos cost a ton of $ to make unfortunately. So it won't be any time soon, but you never know. I did try to pick the best 4 tracks from the game that I felt were most suitable and worthy of this format

    Jeff Babko is a session musician who replaced David Paich during some Livefields shows in 2000 and played piano in the Encanto score by Germaine Franco and songs by Lin Manuel Miranda. Glad to see him here performing on a Tim Follin cover.

    Absolutely brilliant! The Plok soundtrack is a true underrated gem of the SNES and this particular track is probably my favorite of the bunch. Thank you for giving it a new life. I would definitely buy a vinyl of this. Recording and mastering sounds amazing.
