What an amazing and unexpected treat! A big band arrangement of awesome video game music from the LA-list! Thousands of albums and movies between all of these folks.
Far out. Many nights I strive, but on a rare few nights I manage to reach the edge of the observable internet universe and witness something incredible. Tonight is one one them.
I was not great at this game as a kid, but I definitely remember the tunes, and hearing them again in this rendition was a treat. You all deserve way more views not only on this, but the rest of your content. Did a binge watch and am blown away with the quality and talent going on here. Professional studio with dozens of mics around, a damn good sound crew, multiple cameras catching the action, and a whole group of talented musicians. A lot of money, work and love went into this, and it pains me that more haven't seen it yet. You have a new subscriber from me, at least, and I hope more will find your channel too.
That solo at 4:16 is immaculate, I never would had guessed such an amazing cover of one of my favorite game's sound track would be made, but man am I glad I found this!
Omg, that suite... i can't believe , it was so well played , please keep with the good work guys!!!! There are so incredible old tracks on videogames 😢
@@MylesWrightMusic I don't know how many people will actually check, because people don't tend to look at my community posts, but sure! I wish I could do an Oscilloscope video on something like these, but that would be really complicated I think.
There is no year in which I don't listen to the gradius 3 OST for at least a week straight and youtube does does not do their due dilligence and recommend me this gem. RUclips sucks, you guys are out of this world.
I can't imagine how much fun it probably is for all those musicians to play something like this. Videogame composers are rarely given the spotlight that they deserve. Thank you for giving us the ability to hear these songs in a new way.
Some of it was fun, and some of it was quite challenging! But the band + production team did great. Present day VGM composers are getting reasonable attention/profile etc these days, but the composers of 1990's etc are often forgotten. I'm glad you liked this one because it was by far the most difficult to pull off 😝
You guys are insanely amazing! It must have been such hard work to put all this together! RUclips is really hard on new channels, unpredictable and unfair. You surely deserve 100k views solely on this video, and I really hope someday RUclips decides to recommend it to more people (believe me, it might suddenly happen)! I'm a great fan of Gradius and can't even begin to express the gratitude I feel for your work! I always come back here to listen to this amazing orchestral arrangement, it never gets old! I hope someday you do more Gradius songs, I really wish Mechanical Base, Cosmo Plant and Dead End Cell were included in this work, I'm sure you'd make an unparalleled rendition out of them. Keep up your amazing work!
Thank you for your kind words! I would love to do more, but it comes down to $$. There are so many tracks in Gradius III we could easily do another suite. Glad you like this one though, it was by far the most challenging to put together!
ur arrangements have so much heart to them! a lot of orchestral arrangements of game music on youtube lack this kind of energy, great stuff!! hope to see more from you!
I never really cared for jazz until I came across you guys. The whole Gamer album sounds amazing; I only wish this was included on it. Oh well, maybe on the next album? 🙂
I wish it was included too! To make a long story short....the mechanical licenses needed to put this on a CD or sell on iTunes etc are not available. So we can only have it here. Such a bummer!
¡Me encanta!
Holy effin burger flippin Jesus. I just found this channel. INSTANT sub! I heard a lot of video game music turned into orchestral tunes, but yours are among the best. I love how these versions stick to the original composition but still give them room to breathe without actually changing their nature. And I absolutely love the feel for dynamics (= volume).
Just commenting here to help the algorithm and show my deep appreciation for what you're doing. You're taking two of my favorite mediums, video games and live orchestral music, and creating art! Amazing talent all around.
Crazy how few views these have for the quality of the production and performance. Might help to go "viral" in the searches with a widely searched game like UNDERTALE. Would love to hear your take on that game.
This is, just, perfection!! I would love to know if there's any video of the musicians reactions during the process??? Many thanks to anyone involved!!!
@@MylesWrightMusic maybe it could be an idea for future videos like these! Their opinions and view over these pieces of music could be very important for the future composer

A real shame, makes me think the license holders don’t know how good this is. Anyway it’s so good that not being able to have it surprise me while I’m on the road just means i have to put it on myself. I’ve been listening to it all the way through at least once a week. I’d listen to it more, but i gotta listen to everything else too!
@@fitzmorrispr well, usually big international corporations such as Nintendo (or in this case, Konami) aren’t interested in ‘micro licensing’ IE with tiny unknown artists such as myself. A major Hollywood movie is fine however 😀 sometimes mechanical licensing is available for covers but I couldn’t even get those in this case. Anyway, glad you like it and thanks for your support 🤟

I searched for gradius 3 theme and had to scroll a long way to get to this, but I'm very glad I did.

Gradius 3 was the second game that i owned on snes.
Then you would know how much music I had to leave out! This suite could've gone on for 60 min 🤣
It's absolutely criminal that this doesn't have a ton more views.

This was the sickest thing I have seen in awhile. Absolutely stellar job. Gradius 3 has a great ost and this was an AWESOME interpretation of it.

This is amazing... this entire series, actually. Gotta love those odd time signatures!! Good job, great arrangement overall.
