    The fabric was Japanese cotton... what other fabrics do you recommended for bulky head wraps.... also how much fabric is that?

    Isn't that a little heavy? Looks like one yard - just too big for my taste - but defintelty a neat technique - maybe if it was lace.

      no. lots of cultures have worn head scarfs, including russian, german, etc. it is not strictly african/black culture

      That’s what humanity is for- giving/taking, sharing/learning, using. We are all humans. No object/style/design should be relegated to only 1 group of people. This is what humans do.
