Tracy, Jack and Anda have lived in their tiny home for over 3 years. They live in a tiny home community lovingly called "Tiny Town" with 10 other tinies in Durango, CO. They're situated in the mountains only a few minutes walking distance from town. Jack plays hockey across the street and Anda enjoys playing with the other children in their neighborhood. When Tracy moved the kids from Thailand 6 years ago, she was nervous about being able to provide for them. With the tiny house, she's not only been able to provide, but thrive and all 3 of them can't imagine living any other way.

This is the absolutely best tour video. Finally, a family who has spent some time in their home. Seeing how all the family things just make it more of a home and how comfy they all are is refreshing. I can see that long term living in a tiny home works perfectly for the right families.

I thought that it was far too busy and cluttered for my tastes but it grew on me more and more throughout the video.
It really looks like an actual home more than almost any other tiny home i've seen.

I know this video is mainly to show the tiny house and I LOVE the tiny house, but I REALLY LOVE this family! The mother is such an interesting person with a bomb personality, and she just made me smile throughout the entire video. The two children, anyone watching this can tell, are very well adjusted, polite, happy children and I definitely think it is because of the way they are being raised. Their mother has sooooo much love for the two of them and I feel that is the reason why they are such wonderful, secure, content kids. What a terrific family and a beautiful tiny home. Lovely from the front door to the back and up into the lofts. Very VERY nice! Thank You for a great video!! ☺
Oh, yes! I remembered to say something else, after reading a few comments. The rumbling of the washer that shakes the whole house, was a problem in another tiny house. Besides leveling it with the screwed in feet, (if that’s the case?) they put rubber foot pads underneath them as shock absorbers. Problem solved!

I agree, I just love her home. I was most impressed with her, how she made sure each person has their own space for arts & crafts, school work and play! I think the sons room is great, that it also serves as a play space and she made sure that each kid had w dedicated area for their stuff. Also love the puzzle table, the drawers are awesome. I think the kitchen is a real kitchen, with normal sized stove, W&D, fridge, etc. I'm impressed with her overall genuine thoughtfulness for her and the kids. oh and....love that its a flush toilet! lol?

I love when people show the genuine side of tiny house living instead of the OCD ultra tidy looking tours that are clearly just done for the camera, with not one single thing out of place or just thrown down. Like no one lives there at all.
Hey, whats wrong with being OCD? Not everyone not a minimalist, usually when you live tiny, you go minimal, thats why many tiny house look 'not lived in".
Syarifa Fatimah there is nothing wrong with being OCD when you actually have OCD. But most people are faking it for the camera.

@mizfrenchtwist I think you're both misunderstanding my point. I'm not saying a Tiny house shouldn't be tidy or organised. Just that most tours are unrealistic with NOTHING out of place. Not a phone on the side, no keys on the table, no coats by the door, no sign of life.
Please do not throw out OCD unless this video is actually about that. I understand what you mean when a home feels stale due to lack of homey things and I get it, but as someone who struggles with OCD, there is no connection to that here.

What a great tiny home for a great family! You are such a great mom putting your kids’ needs first and building them such a magical place to live. Kids don’t need a lot of space or a lot of stuff. They only need a lot of love, which yours obviously have!

So awesome. I agree. It’s a rough transition. After leaving my 16 year marriage had to start over from scratch with a one year old and a three year old, moved in with my mom and it was hard. So glad you guys have your own space and are doing well. Considered a tiny house but it’s just not an option at this stage of life. I have stayed in an air bnb tiny home though and I felt like a kid in a tree fort, really neat experience.

We had that problem then I bought a thing on Amazon that absorbs the vibration. Made a difference. Anti vibration pads.

Lol, my washer is unbalanced & I have a concrete floor & the washer isn't attached to anything, really (old side by side.) So it goes for a walk!

Let's face it though, this woman has kindly shared her home and lifestyle with others so they might obtain ideas and learn about tiny house living (or just be entertained during these crazy quarantine times). What an amazing mom. Raising two kids on her own and not wanting to be confined to a regular 9 to 5 job just so she can be there. My sister is also single mother of two and I know how hard it is. Getting them ready for school, taking them to school activities, helping with hw, cooking, etc. It’s like a full time job. Kudos to her.

Love your tiny HOME!!! It's a home with a growing family and things to accumulate as your children grow older. I would described your organization as artistically organized. As a mother of three grown sons now living on their own, I found I can be more "OCD" (as mentioned in some comments below). Style of organization is reflected in one's stage of life. (my comment is made to the reaction of some of the other comments.)
Anyway your home is cozy and welcoming. It reflects a lot of love and care. Your children radiant those feelings. And that's what's more important.
