- Micah & Ryan teamed up to design this awesome tiny home on wheels. They both shared their input with their builder to build a tiny home that suits them the best. As mentioned in the video, Micah plans to give this tiny home to Joey in the future...such an amazing idea and gift!

Beautiful home. Loved how they took in consideration for the cat and created comfortable space for the feline. Mother is very thoughtful and even plans to pass down the home to her daughter to help her in starting ‘adulthood.” Really enjoyed this one. Nice seeing a calm family and not one in rat race or helicopter mode.
Like that there’s 2 loft spaces and it’s mostly a good design/layout. I think I’d need a loft to span the entire length of the tiny for more closet space. Wondering what the dimensions are?

What I like about this single mom is that she was thoughtful in giving her daughter "space" and allow her to prepare meals. This is what child rearing is about. Even the daughter had to educate her classmates. While tiny homes are not for everyone, this mom and daughter have their "own" place to do as they please!
Hi Micah! Hi Ryan! What a very cool tiny home you have! I LOVE all the wood and the lofts and the catwalk and the bathroom and the kitchen and....well I guess I love the whole thing. Your home looks very comfortable and cozy but at the same time looks like you have plenty of room. Great design and so many ingenious ways of creating storage space. Ryan, you seem like such a nice young lady. I would bet that your Mom is extremely proud of how you are growing up and how mature you are for being so young. Enjoy your tiny house, BOTH of you, and also enjoy the time you have to spend together. I can tell that the two of you have a special relationship and Micah, you have done an excellent job of raising a lovely polite daughter.
First, Your daughter is great. Second, this video makes tiny house living look very normal and every day understandable.
If I had to live in a tiny space, I would have the walk area in my bedroom be like this woman's. The only time you have to be in the loft is the time to sleep. Crawling to the bed on the loft is terrible in my opinion. The little girl can handle it but as you get older, it becomes more difficult. Smart lady
Carmen D I think she means it’s hard to have low roofs and having to crawl all over your bedroom. It could probably hurt your back and cause back problems or if you had carpet you could get carpet burn.
The intelligence of the mother is palpable. Daughter is very lucky. It is a beautifully designed tiny home, as practical as it is cottage-like, no doubt about that.

Love the big sink. I also really like the daughter's room. It's so nice. When I was her age I lived in a tiny summer lake cabin (even in winter) with 2 adults, and 3 kids. My space was so small and sparse compared to hers. It wasn't anywhere near as homey as her bedroom. In fact, it was just a tiny nook located in the same space as the kitchen. My dresser was the only thing that separated my bed from the kitchen. I would have loved to have had her loft bedroom, even though I was grateful for the space I did have at the time. The only thing I did there was read and sleep since I was too busy for the rest of the day to do anything other than that. They did a really good job with this tiny home. 🙂

This is the best home I have seen and I have been studying tiny homes for years. Excellent design! Love everything and the only thing I would do different is installing a hand held shower head in the bath. Makes dog bathing and human rising so much easier. The daughters area is a tree house!!! SWEET!! Love the cat walk and the couch design is awesome.

What a beautiful home you have built Joey & Micah but please don’t worry about the few negative 👎 comments you have down below mostly from the jealous few that can’t even afford to build a dog house, let alone an absolutely beautiful tiny home for themselves!!
It sure is a good thing that the two of you built it for yourselves and that you two are the only ones that really have opinions that count. I’m sure nobody else from the comment section arrived on delivery day to give the builder a check with their name on it so until that happens, both you ladies enjoy it, give the animals lots of baths, and make memories on movie night cause it will all be gone before you know it.

Lovely. So happy you found a community to live in. I was a single mom with a daughter. My daughter is nearly 30 right now but living this way would have been great for us. The only thing I would consider changing is going 10 feet wide. Also making the bathroom larger for primary clothes storage. Leaving the lofts just for sleeping, Love how you accommodate the animals
I love this house! I got upset with all the complaints about the cat's dishes being on top of the fridge and the cat walk being in the kitchen. Having cats on the floor of the kitchen doesn't prevent cat hair from settling on your dishes and other food accessories, and even your food as you prepare it. Some people just need to gripe about anything. The design is well thought out for the comfort of the cat as well as the dog. That was what I really appreciated about this design.
What everyone doesn’t realize is that this cat used to be really good about not being on counters until he suffered a suspected brain injury after being hit by a car. That’s when we had to switch to wet food that the dog so desperately wants to eat. I have no issue with it because I appropriately clean up after my animals and clean my space. To each their own but it doesn’t bother us.

A lovely family who took account of their pets' lifestyles. Great initial build and I'm sure they'll be tweaking further the longer they live there. Nice built-in community by the look of things too. I've always wanted to have a catwalk in my home for my posse but my OH won't let me have one!
We are certainly a work in progress. We are currently re-doing the living room to make the seating more comfortable.

Beautiful tiny home and perfectly customized! I think it was clever putting the cat food on the fridge! Don’t worry about the cat and the dog, the cat will eventually accept the dog & they may even become friends. Your daughter is sweet and very articulate for her age! This is the exact same layout I came up with in my head in reconsidering having my own tiny home,( with the exception of the amount of closet space both in the bathroom and the daughter's loft)...wow she outdid me, I had been searching for one with this layout to actually see how it would look in reality versus my paper...although it was difficult to find...this is great! They did a marvelous job it was very detailed, may God continue to bless them in their future endeavors! thank you, thank you, thank you for showing your lovely home! 🏡

This is actually really well done. I've seen a lot of tiny homes with the same square footage who don't have nearly the storage or personal space. The stairs are excellent as well.

Love love the big picture window ledge/shelf above kitchen just below the window. Great space. Open line of sight or fridge in corner not blocking the kitchen for a nice view,..... so ur ledge is perfectly high enough u are not drawing attention to a cluttered confines space but an open space. Good job planning.

What a beautiful home to move in with a single mom and a young daughter. Me and my family 3 went to rent a tiny home for a week and I loved it so frickin much. It was amazing and I want to go again but sadly it’s all the way in Austin and I live in Dallas. I pray for them to be save!! I litterly love your home!! You guys are both really cute and pretty. Beautiful home layout too. I personally would like a more comfortable couch. Looks like room for apartment size couch in one side and leave the bed bench.
Pam Bridenback we are currently re-doing the living room. Turning one side into a built in desk, small couch on the other and most likely adding shelves above the built in bench. Doing one piece at a time to make sure I am happy with it.

Trying to find a company that makes sensible tiny homes. So far Indigo River has about everything that I'm looking for. I love the lofted bedroom WITH some head-space and wardrobe. The living room is also a really good size!! And this home has a bathtub, I'm in love!

Vanessa B The dog forgets that he is 75 lbs and can be to rough with the cat which will earn the pup a good swat to the face with cat claws. They are much happier together in the tiny home than they were before 😁

Or can always do a upholstered plywood back to the couch. Might be kinda cool, if u dont like pillows. A more modern look. A dark blue or green, like an upholstered headboard.

In this was very nice and put together. For the little girls room instead of a stool for the computer the little floor cushions or theres something I've seen before where it has a back to it like seat but no legs and can sit on floor?

Great Tiny House! I also love how you have made sure that not only you and your daughter are comfortable in this space but you also do the same for your ADORABLE furbabies!!! I think setting your cat's food on top of the refrigerator is an awesome thing. I have cat food for my cat on the floor next to the dog's food BUT I also have a spot on a large dining table that we don't use for her to have her food also if she wants to eat there and if she wants to eat or get away from the dog. LOL
Hey Tina! We invested in a selective pet feeder for our kitty. A sensor tag on her collar opens her food bowl when she approaches it. Well worth the cost as our dog can’t steal her food anymore.
