Always remember those consoles can be a dresser, have bins in them for any dresser and bins on top for socks, glove inserts - mittens, hats. It's what our house does no big dressers.
Filming my morning routine would be so boring. Shuffle to the kitchen - find coffee - shuffle to the couch - drink coffee while trying to wake up. 🙂 My family knows to not even talk to me before coffee.
Lauren, we put a scoop of baking soda in the washer with the clothes. It gets rid of the odors out and helps to get the build-up out of your towels and softens them too.
Yes, please. Photos of your finished projects and morning routines. I don't have any little ones, but mornings can get busy even with just the two of us and I'm always looking for variety.
I started using white vinegar to get summer sweat smells out of hubby's yard work clothes. I made such a difference I now add it to all of our laundry and have been super pleased with how clean our clothes smell. We have well water, front load washer and I make our laundry detergent without sent.
Hello! I add vinegar to disinfect & brighten my towels & my husband's work clothes. I add it to the bleach compartment in the washer. Works beautifully, without "burning" clothes with bleach. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Yes, please! Let us see the finished office. Have you ever tried adding white vinegar to your laundry? It helps to tame stinky clothes, particularly if you have a brief soak cycle option on your machine.
Good haul today, love the teddy bear shirt. How did the drawers look once home. What a nice idea to do the Costco sample plate, now Everett isn’t missing out😅😅 Luna is such a beautiful cat, affectionate and mischievous, great combo.
My town doesn't have a Costco. We only have Sam's Club. That teddy bear yard decoration was definitely extra. Not practical for only a month of decorating. Missing Everett not being at Costco. I do like advent calendars. Especially the chocolate ones. I'd love to see your office decorated. I also like to see y'all's morning routine. It was good seeing the boys at the end of the video.
love love the Costco trips Lauren......showing us what we sooo miss out on......& NOT a bottled water in sight....well done.....& I saw Luna....sooo beautiful......I take it shes an indoor cat.......xx love to you all xx
For the candles, i would recommend a candle warmer instead of using fire for them, best purchase ever for someone that is paranoid about burning the house down LOL
For your laundry , get the Lysol disinfectant and you put it where you would put the Clorox bleach and your clothes will smell good . Also along with adding your scent beads and Downey softener
Yeah! From PN New Zealand here! Whoop whoop! Over here we cut the Kiwis in half then use the spoon to scoop out mouthfuls and eat it right off the spoon. Yummo!
Love all those 🛒🛒 shopping hauls. Nice to see what's new on the market and in Alaska. I would love to see all your new things you are doing to organize, your home. You have such great ideas and very talented. Enjoy the rest of your day. 💜💕❤️.
Also some of the people channels I watch from Alaska etc say at times it's hard to get stuff ship to them from us or other websites and not a whole lot of places to go to if get sick or for good activities. Nothing wrong with the lemon scent like she said in the video
Scary, was only $10 over.. You still did well. I love Costco flannel. They wear and look like I spent more. Glad you found the dresser. Another option is lkea pine line. It's a great line for bedrooms, den or office storage and solid. Not so expensive the freight hurts. Take care
I have never committed on any Costco post but saying that I have been bed ridden due 2 a C.S.F. leak 4 the last 5yrs. You truly captured my love of your post due 2 the fact that not only are you so real & quick with your walk through. I've been a crazed mom on the fly. You r so relatable!!!! My 2 sons r now 34& 30. Just got to be banana 10 months ago 2 my Little main man Gio. (. Just so you know I have never posted a comment on Anything!!!!). You sharing your days with your added comments about your family bring back 2 me the crazy beautiful moments as my boy grew ! Thank you 4 giving me a a recall. Of a beautiful family time❤. U got to the adorable Violet. (I want 2 go 4 3 to get my girl but didn't happen). Anyways thxs . B I'm Angela from Kelowna B.C. Enjoy & take Care it happens soon quick.❤
For stinky clothes try vinegar and baking soda. I add the baking soda to the laundry and then put vinegar in the bleach tray. My husband works in automotive and his clothes use to stink, now they don’t. He is allergic to bleach and any fabric softener, so I had to find a solution. Also for stinky towels the vinegar alone works. Plus my washer never gets that funky smell to it and it is WAY cheaper for the huge bag of baking soda and large bottle of vinegar.
@@ThisAlaskaLife I also pour baking soda in my drains about every 3 months. Then some vinegar to keep the stink down. I do it in the showers and sinks in every bathroom and in the kitchen. Also after you change your AC filter I flush the drain pipe with vinegar and then some warm water. Living in Florida our AC gets this pink goo in the lines if you are not careful. It will block the drain and then shut the AC down.
The morning vlog would be nice to see. Hope you all have a blessed day. It is nice to see the boys enjoying their snack plate. And wow!!what a haul. Thank you for sharing. We have all three here in Virginia Costco sams and bjs. The only one I have been to is Sam's club. Enjoy the weekend. God bless you all.
We have the stinking laundry issue too, the best way I have found to get out the deep lingering smells is to get some laundry enzyme cleaner, fill the tub or sink and soak the worst of the worst offender for a day, put the enzyme directly on the stinky areas and rub into fabric then let soak. Once you get the initial stink out it should be good for a couple wears. You can use the enzyme like a stain remover before washing and it should keep the stink out. I had to buy the enzymes from Amazon, so I’m not sure how easy it will be to find in your area but I’ve heard of ppl online using homemade recipes with vinegar for deep cleaning clothes but I have not tried any of them, yet.
I love those socks 🧦 too. Because of 8x. Strokes my left foot cold and sleep with them on all year long. Oh I am 19 years post ruptured brain stem aneurysm and 8x strokes. I can use all limbs live by myself mow yard and drive. I'm 65 now. Enjoyed and something are about the same price as here in northern central West Virginia
Went to Costco today and bought the white bowls and then saw your video lol love them! Washed them up and perfect for salad for dinner tonight. Girl you need them!
Hi Lauren, who knows you may just be eating my sister and brother in laws kiwifruit. They grow them here in NZ, in Tauranga. They use Zespri to export them....my faves are the golden though, they just less acidic, and smoother to eat. Yummo
Yes to a morning vlog and anything else you’d like to show us! Your videos are very well done😄 I have the cacao powder and it’s delicious! I use it for my brownie recipe ❤️😄👍
I have a 15 year old step son who is stinky too and I switched to Tide Sport and finally the smell came out of his clothes. And I use All Free and Clear detergent on everything else
Great Job going Solo at Costco. Can't believe how great the weather is in Alaska. Here in Washington, we haven't seen rain in quite some time. "Almost" missing rain. I need one of those toilet bowl cleaners. Have a great week, Lauren.
Another great video, the sample expert was missed but great to see him trying new things at the end. A quick tip when washing towels, add 1 cap of white vinegar to your wash and they will stay soft and fluffy for longer and you don't smell the vinegar
Cacao powder is an excellent choice for fiber and flavanoids. I have 2tbl in my smoothie. A serving does contain 50 mgs of caffeine ( like drinking half a cup of coffee) Cacao is a healthy addition to your smoothie
I was really surprised and am amazed when I see American YT mom‘s buy things like blankets, towels, pillows almost on a regular basis 😅… I live in europe and we don’t have superstores like that ^^ we buy things like that maybe every 10-12 years at a specific store … I find those differences really interesting
Love your videos ❤ would love to see a morning routine and to see how your boys go to school in the winter and the dark. You have a wonderful family and really enjoying watching. Love the winter ones as where I live in New Zealand it doesn't get that cold and we never have snow!
I picked up those soy candles for 4 separate gifts good deal. The toy section at costco is where I have been shopping for Christmas donations for years but everything shrunk in size and more than doubled in price.....just won't be able to match previous yrs this year the boys liked the healthy snacks too 👍
Those little white bowls are brilliant I have had a set for about 12 months or more and use them all the time. I also have a marble look set same shape and both are my go to bowls for serving food. Love Costco furniture I have a kitchen island that I bought a couple of years ago and use it all the time. The dresser you bought for the boys is very nice. Thank you Lauren for the breakfast sausage recipe as we don’t get jimmy deans in Australia I really appreciated it. I haven’t made it yet but it is on the list for near future. Gardening more important at the moment it’s spring here and the weather is perfect in Queensland.
Great haul Lauren!! Loved seeing Everett and Miss Luna!!!❤️❤️ don't forget to show us the new dresser once you get it put up!!😁take care my friend ❤️❤️
You should be able to get reimbursed for the sale price on your rug depending on how many days you purchased it before the sale started. Let us know if Costco honored the sale price. Your Anchorage friend Charlene. 🙂😁✌
Frozen fruit makes fruit leathers in the winter for a good price. I like to buy the mixed varieties and do 50-75% fruit to apple. I tend to do more apple for frozen berries as they can be quite tart and the apple helps to sweeten it up. Its also good if you do just apple with some cinnamon mixed in
Nice furniture. Loved the black dresser. I love watching you shop. I dont have a Costco near me so it’s great seeing what you have over there. I’m in Oz.
Always remember those consoles can be a dresser, have bins in them for any dresser and bins on top for socks, glove inserts - mittens, hats. It's what our house does no big dressers.
Very true! I have done that in the past! Thanks for watching!
It gets rid of the odors out and helps to get the build-up out of your towels and softens them too.
yes! or Borax.
Thats a very good idea
You know what? I use baking soda for laundry too. 💕
Baking soda with Biz or Oxyclean for my stinky farmer😊
Yes, please. Photos of your finished projects and morning routines. I don't have any little ones, but mornings can get busy even with just the two of us and I'm always looking for variety.
Boys giving mom hugs for all her efforts buying food and that carnt wait to see what your Christmas shopping video be like
I started using white vinegar to get summer sweat smells out of hubby's yard work clothes. I made such a difference I now add it to all of our laundry and have been super pleased with how clean our clothes smell. We have well water, front load washer and I make our laundry detergent without sent.
I agree with the scent of lemons for cleaning. Majority of all my cleaning products is either lemon or scent free
I would love your finished projects. Really enjoy your channel, from USA
Hello! I add vinegar to disinfect & brighten my towels & my husband's work clothes. I add it to the bleach compartment in the washer. Works beautifully, without "burning" clothes with bleach. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I'll watch everything you throw on youtube 🤗😍 everything is so entertaining to watch..
Good luck shopping Lauren
Yes, please! Let us see the finished office. Have you ever tried adding white vinegar to your laundry? It helps to tame stinky clothes, particularly if you have a brief soak cycle option on your machine.
I would love to see your completed projects! And your morning routine 💕
Good haul today, love the teddy bear shirt. How did the drawers look once home. What a nice idea to do the Costco sample plate, now Everett isn’t missing out😅😅 Luna is such a beautiful cat, affectionate and mischievous, great combo.

Yes! Love to see what you’re doing in your home.
I would love to see your office make-over!
I will put it on my list of videos to film!
Reading the ingredients to your boys was so cute lol with their reactions. Awesome haul! I love seeing Luna always make her appearance
So happy I found you. Love your house! It's beautiful.
For your laundry , get the Lysol disinfectant and you put it where you would put the Clorox bleach and your clothes will smell good . Also along with adding your scent beads and Downey softener
Pine Sol also helps with grease/stains and smell!
hi, I would love it if you did a tour around your house, and the outside, I love love anything todo with Alastair, loved the shopping trip, xx🥰🇬🇧
Yeah! From PN New Zealand here! Whoop whoop! Over here we cut the Kiwis in half then use the spoon to scoop out mouthfuls and eat it right off the spoon. Yummo!
Same here in Australia, PN is that Palmerston North?
Luna really is the icing on the cake for me. 😊
Doesn't that cat makes you wanna get a cat?
@@jaybee608 She really does. 🙂

Love to see you all in the morning.
Boys sure have gotten taller since Violet's gonna be walking before long. They are cute & funny. Luna's a sweet kitty.

Have you ever tried a coffee cup warmer for candles? Smells great no flames.Anplus candles last longer.I enjoy your family.
I love going to Costco with you. That tan looks so nice on you. I loved seeing Luna & the boys. I hope you have a wonderful week.
I use vinegar for softener and to help with stinky clothes. Down side is that I usually need to double rinse to get the vinegar scent out😊
Good night Lauren and Mark and family and thank you for sharing
