THIS is how you do empire MOCs

Really good, rare to see a MOC without any "breaking immersion easter egg".

Definitely agree. I feel like putting obvious Easter eggs or too many is annoying. Having a concealed Easter egg is my favorite. One that is accessible to show but not always visible.

I've always wondered: how do you plan/buy parts for something like this? Do you just buy a ton of bricks of a certain type, an hope you have enough, probably leaving you with a lot of left overs? Do you source from existing builds? Or do you buy them as you go? That last option seems most plausible (cost effective) but somehow ordering 16 pieces of something, then running out, or deciding to do something differently and havingbto order another batch, thus having to wait for that to arrive seems like such a creativity killer. Anyone here who could shine some light on that? Because to me that seems like an even bigger challenge then to come up with these builds in the first place!

For me, I always order more then needed. And usually I plan it out ahead of time, but what I know I’m gonna need, and go from there. Usually display bringers have months to prepare for this.

@@naik0562 I swear to Christ no one knows the definition of satirical anymore. What was satirical about that comment? What sort of issues were you bringing to light with that comment? What social conventions were you commenting on? There's nothing even ironic about what you said. A snarky comment to put someone down isn't satire it's just petty. No more play fortnite und drink cola, go back to school.

@@aeddan_1233 ok so first of all, I did not intend to write "a snarky comment to put someone down", but good that you seem to be able to analyze me inner thought progress. Albeit not directly a social convention I was commenting on, what I tried to accomplish with my comment was a critique on the policies but also development of the designs and products distributed by the Lego Group, as for quite some time, Lego has had a history of launching overpriced and bad sets, engaging in insane lawsuits and providing, especially compared to competitors, a lack of quality of parts, customer support, and again, extremely overpriced products.
My intent was not to put the original commenter down, and I thought that even them might find it funny, as it is an ongoing joke that Lego does not care for their customers. If you by any chance meant the intention was to bring down Lego, then I can say with absolute certaincy that this would be an outcome I would strive for. If you've spent enough time reading this and wasting your time agitating about a comment on RUclips, mind a not even offensive one, as this is to decide by the individual targeted by it as here there is no obvious and direct offense present, I hope you realize that you are in fact suffering from a problem, which I can't precisely diagnose as I understand that I, not a doctor, might stay in my fucking lane for that one...
PS: I finished school already and am currently working, so I don't get your point, other than you just trying to "put me down with a gnarly comment.".
