    After crushing garlic you should leave it in the air for a bit, let the enzymes in the garlic activate in contact with air. That way It'd be even better for their tummies and immune system. It also tastes better :) Nonetheless based.

If it's really hot, in my Texas heat sometimes they just struggle, and this water gives 'em that extra boost they need to keep on keepin' on.

    So many videos on magic water, but no one actually talks about how it's suppose to work. Garlic freshly crushed releases allicin, a pungent sulfur-bearing compound, which is an antioxidant and has some antifungal and antibacterial properties. Many aromatic vegetables like onions, mustard, horseradish, and wasabi have similar compounds and help ward off pests mainly. The vinegar has to be unsterilized. Note the bottle says "Mother" as in mother of vinegar, the biofilm/culture which ferments the vinegar and is probiotic. Also like wine, vinegar is full of antioxidants as well. Last the honey which I have some misgivings about. Raw honey has had a long history as a miracle/medicinal food because it's calorie dense, antioxidant rich again, the high sugar content makes it fairly sterile. Fairly is the operative word. It is well known today that you never give newborn infants honey because one of the few things that do survive in honey are botulinum spores which can cause total paralysis and respiratory arrest. Chickens can also be affected by botulism from contaminated food and water.
    More than anything I suspect the magic water stays sterile and safe to drink longer than pure standing water and maybe the sugars make them more eager to drink. It's so diluted I doubt the "good bacteria" or antioxidants do much, and I'm concerned about botulism from the honey.

    If you ever get into winemaking and wind up with so much that you want to turn some into vinegar, I've used that same brand of apple cider vinegar as a starter. With organic, undistilled vinegar like that, the mother of vinegar is still alive and capable of well, making more vinegar. Wine by itself might be too strong for the mother to flourish, so I use 1 part wine, 1 part water, then add a little organic vinegar. I mostly make tomato wine since my tomato vines are quite productive. I don't really use vinegar in cooking, especially tomato wine vinegar, so I dilute it even farther and wash my hair with it. There might be other applications as well.

    • @Pantsinabucket
      @Pantsinabucket Год назад

      I gotta ask man, what the fuck does tomato wine taste like?

    • @robertdeckard2136
      @robertdeckard2136 Год назад +1

      @@Pantsinabucket When done right, it tastes like a white wine, kind of like chardonnay but with a slight tomato-y aftertaste that you might not even notice. When I make it it's a dry wine, not sweet at all, but it doesn't have to be that way. It is a clear yellowish color like your white grape wines since any of the red pulp or skin that makes it through the strainer or cheese cloth will generally sink to the bottom and you'll siphon off the wine leaving the pulp and such behind. Like most home brewed alcohols, if you do it wrong, it'll taste terrible. It's best to clean your equipment before hand, use vine ripened tomatoes, let it age and rack it a few times so it doesn't taste yeasty. You can try using tomatoes that you emergency picked to save them from an early frost and ripen them in a paper bag before making them into wine but in my experience it doesn't turn out as well. My process was inspired by this video: ruclips.net/video/CWDp5LAQFyY/видео.html but I've changed it to suit my own needs.
