Thank you Rhonda for sharing your recipe. I’ve only attempted 3 other recipes previously to watching your video. I received the extra ingredients I needed yesterday and made a batch last night. I am so absolutely in love with this formula. It’s so rich and creamy and not oily at all. I think these will make great gifts for the women in my family. Thank you once again xx

Do you have a rough estimate of how long this body butter will last before expiring? Love your recipies by the way! ❤ So far Ive made your lip balms and sugar lip scrubs and they are just lovely! 🥰
Thank you. I’m all fine. Enjoying time with my dad which is lovely and doing a job I love and of course I’ve got so much support from all my you tube friends
You are so so sweet and such a kind heart. I’m ok as I’m spending lots of time with my dad which I’m really enjoying. I love my job and I’ve made so many you tube friends so I’m very lucky
Hi Rhonda just trying this recipe, do you use cocoa butter deodorised? I'm using organic cocoa butter chips and my mix at this stage is not white more yellow looking.
Doesn’t it get grainy when you let the shea butter cool down slowly to room temperature? I thought that’s why people put it in the fridge to rapidly cool it down. Ps does it stay as creamy?
I’ve never had an issue but remember that there are different grades of Shea . I buy mine from deluxe Shea and there’s is an organic and certified one with a grade Shea
Hi Rhonda, thank you so much for sharing, I want go at it but I have a regular hand blender with two blades, wil it work? I also have o e that came with my stick blender, I see you have one also, but switched to your other blender. Also, how long does it take to blend until us set ? ( hours?).
hi there. to make this you really need a mixer as that allows for the air to flow through the blender giving a really light airy type of body butter. it will start to set with in an hour or 2 and then i put the lids on about 4 hours after ive finished.
This looks amazing Rhonda so luxurious and silk like. Do you use Glass or PET plastic containers. Is there a place you recommend a business for the amber containers.
Hi there I use both. I get all amber jars from Aussie candles and plastic containers from JT plastics I think it’s called. Also look at Bianco for packaging too.
Hi I came across your chanbell, can you tell what the Australian soaping and candle conference is all about. I went onto the website but I dont understand what is all about. enjoying your channel. cheers tanya
Hi Tanya The conference is all about small business in soaping and candle makers. The focus is on how to succeed, growth and making it work. I noticed you put vanilla fragrance in this. Do you not have a problem of your cream turning brown. Vanilla always turns brown for me. Did you add vanilla stabilizer?
When I made body butter, it turned funny at 6 months. If I did add a preservative, do you have a suggestion? I do not have a Kitchen Aid mixer. Will a hand mixer work? Ty for sharing the recipe. Very kind of you. I sanitize with Everclear 😁
I add hard coconut . Body butter does not last forever. I only make small batches. The most popular easy to use preservative is liquid germal plus . I don’t have a kitchen aid. My stand mixer is a $70 stand mixer but you can use a hand mixer too
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery seems like a stand mixer is better for making body butters. There’s one at Walmart for $100 but all my GF say only get a kitchen aid. Today I got a haul at Goodwill. Now I want to use the product in a recipe. I’m still a newbie at soap, candles and body products. The item is “ Heritage Store brand “ Rosewater & Glycerin. Ingredients are: Purified water, vegetable glycerin, Hydro essential rose. I thought maybe I could soap with it or a face serum. Any experience with this? Afterwards I looked it up on Amazon and this type of product goes for about $50 for 4 ounces. I purchased 24 bottles of 2 ounces each. Hoping I can use this in some products. I know you’re super busy so I understand if you can’t suggest anything. Hope your Dad is doing well
@@lauriewilson4741 hi there. It’s fine. I answer all questions. Today is the largest storm we have had in over 10 years so can’t do much. Glycerine is a great product and suited to many things but I use it in bubble bars. It’s not for soap as it attracts moisture. For photos if you buy a couple drops in a spray bottle then spray on things it looks like rain drops so super good for that to. I do not have a kitchen aid and I make 1000s of products with a cheap department store mixer so you don’t need a kitchen aid. In Australia kitchen aids are close to $1000 in stores unless on sale and I don’t have that sort of money. I did a Sunday chat weeks ago and gave a recipe with bubble bars in it using glycerine so try that out as it’s a recipe you can easily make
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery ty so much. I will look for your bubble bar vid. Must’ve missed that one.ty for answering and hope the storm doesn’t get too rough
This looks lovely! Thank you for sharing. Does this harden up after a point or does it stay as it was when you jarred them up? I make an emulsified body butter because I sell these in the summer and don’t want them to melt.
Because every person will get a different amount depending on you process. If it’s whipped more then it becomes more air rated and fluffy and less or more fits on . You may get 5 jars, 10.4 and so on. Also depending on the size jar you use will depend on this also

Leave it to cure for at least 4 weeks uncovered as it needs to loose water content still

Can I skip the primrose oil and use those grams for preservative for this recipe.
My recipes are there as a base but you can try or add things but the key word is try.
Always test and make sure you love it before you sell it
Would grapeseed oil be good too i have lots of this ?
I am not sure. I think it would not be as silky but you could try
Grapeseed oil has a very short shelf life and tends to go rancid quite quickly. I'd avoid it in cosmetics altogether. Good luck

? I'd your jar is a 8 oz jar and your butter or whipped sugar is fluffy and the weight say 3 oz. do you label the jar an 8 oz or 3 oz?
The label should be the weight of the product only not the jar just the weight of the body butter
