Hidden Hinge Binding- Tutorial

This is a video on how I do my Hidden Hinge. This style of hinge has been around for years. I've heard as far back as 30 years ago. I don't know who invented it but the first time I saw it was on Following the Paper trail then on Paper Phenomen. although each did it slightly differs then the other. I'm not going to debate who did what when, I'm just saying it's been around for very long time.
I use 1/4 inch score tape to assemble the hinge.
Here is a video showing you how to make the covers and attach the pages to the hidden hinge binding system.

Yes, this bookbinding system has been around for years. I have a Civil War Era photo album here that incorporates this hinge. I did some checking and I don't see how any one could have copyrighted this system as it is, and has been, in the Public Domain for many, many years. You cannot copyright something that already exists in the Public Domain.
