Great track- definitely has that deadrose feel. I miss their heavy stuff though, but can appreciate their creativity and the ambient change to their sound.

I love their new stuff. But i love their older stuff more. Literally every single song since In Concretion. I hope they can find a middle ground between the old and new.
@@stephancampa8685 I agree. I appreciate the new tracks, they are emotionally resonant and they are well written. I just miss their older tracks and liked them more. I am having trouble figuring out what isn't quite working for me. It's not just the djenty heavy parts that I am missing. The new tracks feel like a Manuel solo album for me. The other band members have few stand out parts now. Manuel's guitar parts overwhelm the mix and are given the spotlight too often.
@@jeffsmith441 absolutely. Thats the conclusion ive come to as well. The songs are based around manuels riffs. Which is cool. I really do enjoy all the songs. Its just that when you listen to any of their other albums, even AV. You can tell they were produced as kind of a totality, it was all meant to work together from the start, it is more technical, etc. I get they wanted to try out a different sound, but idk. I just dont think it is a good permanent route to take, i definitely like what they are exploring though and want them to incorporate it into their older style.
It ain't Prototype, but this track is pretty heavy, in a way ! Definitely my favourite from the new ones !

@@RisheethG Polyphia is also doing this new sound. This metal, hip-hop infused style. Essentially making hip hop beats with actual instruments. Unprocessed actually uses vocals though with it which works really well. There's some heavy Billie Eilish stuff going on too.

I can't stop listening to this track. I've been following you guys for quite a while and in my opinion this has to be one of the most beautiful songs you all have written. As a bass player I am normally staring at David play in amazement but I can't get Manuel's beautiful riff out of my head on this song. An absolute masterpiece that should be heard by billions. Thanks for your hard work.

This feels like the perfect blend of their old and new vision. I hope they don't feel pressured to stifle their new vision because of people wanting their heavier stuff.
Old Unprocessed is dead my friend. For me old Unprocessed was 10/10 new one 6/10 but i don´t hate and still listening but it´s not as special as it was unfortunately...
I found all of their older stuff, imo, sounded like a very generic version of Tool with more screamo and can tell you, as a tool fan, that this much better. There is only one Tool and Unprocessed is much better off for having found their own sound.

The portrait the woman was painting in the background of the mirror he punched… yet another poetic visualization that leaves me rushing back to the other music videos to see what I might have missed. Again, beautifully heart breaking.

@@jorgelopes6669 "Riff" doesn't refer to just a guitar. It's a term that simply refers to a repeated pattern in a song. Sometimes it can have slightly more specific stipulations such as being performed by the more rhythmic-oriented instruments in an arrangement but this is not universal. They are usually repeated multiple times without break. There are even vocal riffs and the verses of this song are a good example of that (one starting at 1:14). To say there is only one riff in this song is just incorrect.
Your wording suggests you don't like the song or at the very least find it repetitive (just assuming). You're entitled to your own opinion of course; however, if your goal is criticism (also fine), you might find you create better discourse by being constructive. Also, while no one should expect someone's information during such discourse to be perfectly accurate, the more accurate it is, the more helpful you can be.

@@keni3527 The guitar tone is similar to Tim, but the playing is fairly different. Not to mention polyphia as a whole has a much different sound, the difference is especially noticeable in the drums.
You can see their true abilities shining with a still healthy dose of their former self. Fantastic.

Discovered the first cover of deadrose over quarantine disappointed that they hadn't made it into a full song, and I came back a year later to find it was just released and then I heard Rain too and this became my favorite band. This is now one of my favorite songs as well. The guitar riffs blow me away and I get massive inspiration to play from watching Manuel. Grateful for the sick beats and glad I found you guys. Keep up the great work
