This just makes me so happy. Can you feel the positive energy rushing through your veins when you listen to the twin guitars melodies? It's the power of Metal.
Hey bro ! Most of the lead guitars are composed and played by Niclas Engelin, and not Jespert Strömblad actually. Jesper plays rhythm guitar parts generally. 🙃 🤘

After 30 years with Iron Maiden, Metallica and Helloween, now The Halo Effect is my favourite band. Even if I only listen to melodeath, something woke up in me, Days of Lost and I'm wearing out my old In Flames, Dark Tranquillity or Children of Bodom records. Thanks to you, I've started enjoying music again and every single you release like a teenager.
That main melody is a variant of a melody from Jotun. This song is definitely a callback to classic era In Flames, and I’m here for it. There’s a variant of a riff from Dead Eternity as well.
Absolutely love it! It was back in mid 90s when Jester Race, Whoracle, Gallery and Slaughter of the Soul came out. That music has resonated in my soul my whole life. Absolutely love the Jester Race and Whoracle vibes in this!🎉🎉🎉 In Jesper we trust!!!
I saw Dark Tranquillity live last month and Mikael just had a huge grin for most of the show. You love to see a guy who still enjoys performing this deep into his career, hope I can catch Halo Effect some day!
I been seeing them live since the early 2000s and when I took my ex to her first death metal show she was worried. She left saying why did the singer keep blowing kisses at the crowd and be so nice. It's nice to see an artist be genuinely grateful to the fans.

he's so repetitive though. This ticks those boxes again, his go-to words are always 'never' and 'silence'... along with 'I don't wanna' lately. You hear it all throughout his 3 projects. I wish someone else would handle lyrics in one of those projects just for something different.
@@msum23little hard to believe especially from someone who uses anonymity and internet to troll a musician who ultimately doesn't know you exist. Just like my old man used to say: "if you've got nothing good to say, don't say it"... Keep on living and let live, my boy...
@@jaredortega5191 imma backup my guy @msum23. And this main riff is actually just The Police - Message in a bottle ( sending out an SOS) THE lacks creativity
Omg. The guys put her amazing live intro into a full song. Thats what i have wished for since ive heard it for the first time at wacken 22. Absolutely nailed it! Thanks and greets from germany
Hey look! I found out where all of In Flames' good melody went 😂 ALL IN ALL I've been waiting to see what Jesper did in the future, only recently found out and bought both albums. Excited for the future of The Halo Effect!
I was just about to write the same thing. Unfortunately that part of the song is missing. I think the intro gives the song a different feeling. Love it 🖤
the intro is one of the greatest things ive ever heard in my life. The melody, the harmony, the pounding drums...im in complete awe of this. Can't wait for this!
I think I would not be mistaken if I said that the album "March Of The Unheard" represents a triumphant return of the band's signature sound. For me, The Halo Effect is not a typical metal band. They represent something completely different. A real work of art 🎸🎸🎸
So glad these guys are still making music together. Not In Flames, but excellent music. I've been an In Flames fan since I was 18 or 19. I'm 44 now. I won a contest and got to play guitar with them on stage during a show. (Epi. 666 and Jotun) From their Jesterhead fan club. It was more than 10 years ago now. Crazy. But the lineup was Anders, Bjorn, Jesper, Peter, and Daniel. I hung out with them from 10 am until about 2 am. Such awesome guys to their fans. I will ALWAYS like In Flames matter what they do. They could fart into the mic and I would probably end up saying "I can still hear the old IF in there" lol. They are just a band I grew up with. About 6 years ago I took my youngest son to their show, they recognize me every time, and they pulled him up on stage during their last song. There are RUclips videos of it. Atlanta GA... The song was The End. They messed with him and gave him such an awesome memory, and I was so happy for him... ok, enough being a fanboy lol. The Halo Effect is great. This is absolutely brilliant - musically and lyrically powerful! The blend of intense melodies with meaningful themes is exactly what makes music so inspiring to me. THE HALO EFFECT once again shows how metal can combine heart and message perfectly. This is the kind of energy and depth we strive to bring into our own songs as well. Huge thanks for the inspiration! 🔥🤘
Absolutely blown away by this music video! 🎶 The visuals perfectly complement the haunting melodies and powerful lyrics. The message really resonates, and I love how it tackles such important themes. The talent in this band is undeniable! 🙌❤
I just saw an Interview with Anders from In flames telling the Halo effect sound more like Dark Tranquility than In Flames. I do not agree. This sounds like Whoracle/Clayman as fuck !! I'd like to know why the first minute of this awesome intro isn't on the single release. Single is under 3 minutes long.
When In Flames and D. Tranquility mix together….the result is 100% perfect
YEAH MAN!! 100% TRUE
Technically Mikael used to be in In Flames too!
I would say this song hits the best blend so far!
It's actually all In Flames, I think the Halo Effect has more original In Flames members than In flames itself, I could be wrong
@@kamelkadri2843 IF has no original members. THE has the founder of that band and the singer on their first album.

How can we not feel it
The cries no one can hear
Our reality given voices
A choir of muted screams
We fail them on every level
When the words are never known
Let us break this curse of silence
On the march of the unheard
We gather among the masses
To turn this reign around
As every single heartbeat
Will carry now the sound
We fail them on every level
When the words are never known
Let us break this curse of silence
On the march of the unheard
So let's reach for every instrument
That will amplify our anger
Take to the streets of repression
As we march for the unheard
We fail them on every level
When the words are never known
Let us break this curse of silence
