Nice. Fell in love with my DLG. Once you are synced up with the flight modes and tuning, and have gotten over the fiddly part of building.. they're amazing. You can fly all day on a couple of tiny batteries. Some are quite acrobatic and fast, too, if you're not into thermals. They teach you so much about flying
Wow!!! Very interesting as this way of flying is new to me! I will start by making very basic balsa planes and hopefully getting to this level! Many thanks !!!
Too expensive of planes for what you get to be honest. Imo, these planes should be able to made and sold for $200-$250. They dont use more than $50 worth of carbon material that is for sure, the surfaces are paper thin. I just dont see the value and paying the prices manufacturers want for them.
Hi, do you have the version with carbon elevator and rudder or the gfk version. Whats the real diffrence between? Because i want one but only the version with gfk is availible..
I can get around 40 meters or so with my DLG, which sounds impressive until you realise that the top boys are throwing 75 meters+ consistently. Have a look at Pierre Meunier here on YT to see what a european champion can do
Parking lots have good thermals, where i live in MD there are a lot of buzzards. They don't m8nd if you fly with them until you mess up the pattern. Then they drift off like you're the stinky kid at school! Around 9am they come to the parking lot i fly in. Lately the new houses have pushed out the deer and fox, fenced off there are less road kills. And sadly i havent seen deer, fox, groundhogs. And the buzzards are gone...

I've never had a glider but I want one now, thanks guys 🤑

Couldn't agree more!
That glider is impressive. I can't believe how high he launches it.
greatest sport fliers can launch up to 70m with a calm day and even higher with wind
Good pilot. Keeps the turns flat which prevents falling off.
Man,That's some nice throwing not to mention a strong glide!!!
that was a launch ,nice plane ,would,nt want to take a punch off that guy 😂😂😂💪
🤩small light and it's a lot of fun i love! it's time to fly again
Oh yeah!
I love those DLGs
Great pilot!
wow this is pretty damned cool

rc frisbee
Wow, awesome launch and flying
Beautiful
Incredible!
I assume he was very good at discus throwing during school sports day?
🤣 I think you're probably right Derrick !
Good piloting 👍👍👍
FREAK Mate!
Yum Geezas!!
Want !!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Oh he's good
Expensive planes! You can always spot the pilots because they're the snappiest dressers. 🤣🍻

DLG is the best RC gliding there is... try it and you're hooked... ;-)
So you just yeet it into the air like that?
Yup

I bet that’s not as easy as he makes it look.
Can you get on of these with a motor for xtreme aerobatics? >:D
In so sick of the foamies. They wear out too fast.

75m consistantly is a stretch, definetely not consistantly :D maybe with quite good wind and ballast. Pierre usually launches around 60+ on calm
They passed the id check, he passed the vibe check

Deshaun Summit
Wow that's awesome, what wind speeds can it handle?
With ballast, quite comfortably up to 10m/s.
Sydnee Radial
I want to do that launch.
Langworth Meadow
Watsica Meadows
Kerluke Forks
Someone should tell the pilot that the Taranis transmitter antenna should not be pointing out for best wave propagation.
Over $600 Jesus!!!!!!!
That's not even an expensive one! 😵💫 it's because it has to be very stiff and strong to deal with the launch... and then they're hand made carbon
And then you've got to put 4 good servos in it - so add another 200
It is so worth it!
