    Nice video. I have fly-fished the kern From the forks down to Bakersfield. Now I fish from a kayak in the Bakersfield area.

    what brand of fly reel / rod combo is that. clean setup

      It's an Echo 484 Trout X rod with a Redington Rise 3/4 in a discontinued Rose Gold finish. I really like the new Trout X rod compared to their old trout model.

      This is on the Upper Kern above Cannel Creek near Springhill campground.
