Great video, you are getting closer and closer to oversimplified level quality. (Without taking a year to make it.) One thing though, you do something weird at the end of your sentences that makes them sound unnatural (adding some accent?). If I remember correctly this accent is not there in your other videos and it seems to dissapear after the initial parts of the vid. I don´t know if others feel the same though.

The Taiping Rebellion needs its own video dude. It was such a long and insanely brutal conflict the small mention of it near the end just doesnt do it justice. It wasnt just another peasant uprising, it was a full-scale civil war and one of the deadliest in all of history.

It's almost insane that China was so out of touch with reality. The way the emperor responded to the British envoy is just unbelievable. And besides, there's something I don't understand. If China was on the verge of famine, shouldn't they have been interested in importing...you know...food?
One thing you could do is the Pacific Theater of WW2. Oversimplified mostly focused on the European Theater (like so many teachers do). The Pacific front deserves more coverage.

Not many channels I know explore the Opium Wars, its nice to know you covered them as its a important topic.
