Honestly Cecelia might have sealed her fate by killing Gabriela. That really messed with Amanda, so she might just go and kill Cecelia because of that. Makes a lot of sense!
I was thinking this same thing - Amanda already wanted her dead earlier in the film and between killing Gabriela and putting John and an innocent child in a trap... I could see her killing her for sure. She'd definitely be the most deserving.

what makes sense about Amanda killing Cecilia is that in original SAW 3 script , Amanda did kill Eric Matthews as well after their fight. she stabbed him in the neck and told John that he learned NOTHING from your games (in a Deleted Scene)
so her doing that absolutely makes sense because she believes she hasn't changed and John's methods don't work. especially with herself going from one addiction to another.
Amanda was saved by Dr Gordon. He had the medical skills to do so.
She also never did the inescapable traps. As Strahm said she wouldnt be strong enough to lift Kerry. By that logic, she couldnt have lifted the led door in place to seal it shut for Troy's trap.
Hoffman framed Amanda for inescapable traps. We know this is his MO from Seth's trap. We also know Hoffman didnt like Amanda and wanted to get rid of her
We also know Dr Gordon was involved in the events of III/IV. He put Rex/Morgan's trap together. So where was he at the moment Amanda got shot? And what was his relationship with Amanda like?
We do know that Dr Gordon told Adam he'd send help. We do know Amanda came back and told Adam she was there to "help" him. Did Dr Gordon send Amanda back for Adam's mercy killing? Did they form a bond as both being grateful survivors of Jigsaw's games?
Finally! Someone who thinks and sees it like I do lol. It's much more viable that (assuming Amanda is alive) that she was saved by Dr. Gordon. Hoffman wanted her out of the way, he would have left her there or make sure she was dead. And at the end of 7, I'm pretty sure it's Logan and Amanda that help Gordon get Hoffman into the bathroom.
I also think there is potentially more to the backstories. I do agree that Hoffman most likely framed Amanda in setting those impossible traps. He did the same thing when putting Seth Baxter in the pendulum trap and he made it to look like a Jigsaw trap. I strongly believe he rigged Troy's trap from Saw 3. I was thinking maybe Troy and Seth were cellmates and Hoffman wanted revenge. Jigsaw on the tape mentions that he returns to prison again and again. Why is that grounds to being put in a jigsaw trap? Of course we all know Seth Baxter went to prison and most likely met with Troy or maybe even Troy was somehow involved with the murder of Hoffman's sister. There is so many ways they can put this.
Also, I also believe there was a deeper connection between Amanda, Eric Matthews and Kerry. What if Amanda and Eric both were together at some point, got married and had a child (Daniel). Amanda got into drugs and it takes a toll on their marriage. Then of course, infidelity was involved on Eric's part by sleeping with Kerry which led to the divorce. Amanda gets angry and seeks revenge by killing Kerry in the Angel trap. Now Hoffman was in on this by setting up the Angel Trap, but Amanda showing her face was personal and there HAS to be a reason why Amanda would do that.
I'm also a semi-conspiracy theorist when it comes to the Saw franchise, but I still believe Adam is still alive. There's no one in the entire franchise that has shown they can take pictures of their test subjects in a stealth manner and how they go about their day. Sure, Amanda "suffocated" him, but maybe he passed out from smashing his head on the toilet and didn't really die. Dr.Gordon realizes Amanda is leaving without Adam and he personally goes to the bathroom and helps him. That could be one of the two pigmasked people we saw take down Hoffman in Saw 3D.

I always thought it would be interesting if the next Saw film opened with the end of Saw 3D - Hoffman being locked in the bathroom. And as he tries to find a way to escape in the dark, we flash back to the "prequel" events that would be the main chunk of the film and maybe see him 2-3 times "currwently" throughout. I've also considered that maybe Adam's tape had a secret message on it that could potentially help Hoffman escape - Dr. Gordon's tape had the "Follow Your Heart" hidden message on it, but they never checked Adam's for one. It would be a great way to tie Hoffman's escape to the first film, which I think the fans would love.
I think IF Diego comes back, I think it’d be as a spy for John regarding Cecilia’s movements after the trap. Like…if he were to join the Jigsaw Team, it’d be as an informant and not an apprentice. If Cecilia tries to go after John, he’d easily be able to track her while she’s still in Mexico; she also doesn’t know that he was the one who gave them all up to John, so she might still trust him to get her around or out of the country now that everyone else in the scam is dead.
About her and Parker, I think she is smart enough putting two and two together that John could have known about them only through Diego
I think it's a very good idea for Saw fans that they are coming back and new Saw movies are placed between previous films. Personally I love it❤️🔥
But we still need that conclusion of Hoffman's fate
Bro I would love it if Amanda came back. Probably because she’s my favorite apprentice, but it’d make sense given how her death was never mentioned.
The only thing I didn’t like about Amanda in Saw X was her haircut. I hope it’s more akin to the one she has in Saw 2 during the gas house game. I loved that look for her.

I believe these three things will likely happen…
1) Henry’s trap as the opening trap.
2) Cecilia comes to the US for revenge on John and Amanda, leading to her possibly facing Hoffman this time (which will be the surprise for her), even having his actions be the start of John’s desire to test him and even play into that “Do you like how brutality feels, Mark?” line.
3) The film is going to show the start of Hoffman and Amanda’s rivalry, potentially what happens with Cecilia even sparks it.
Bonus: We may even see some of the Saw 3/Saw 4 (and one trap from Saw 5) traps get built, given the sheer number that take place in those two simultaneous films, I would imagine some of them were set up much earlier, such as the Water Cube.
Could we see Diego back? Possibly, but unlikely for the same reasons you gave. However, I could see a fully-grown Carlos returning in a film set after Jigsaw or Spiral.
Hoffman’s reveal of escaping the Bathroom is possible, but if the rumors of a 12th film are true, then it’s probably being saved for the opening of that.
Personally, I don’t think Amanda would free him even if she was alive, since he set her up to fail in Saw 3 (I’m sure John’s plan was for Amanda and Hoffman to leave the building, but Hoffman set Amanda up to die so that he would be the only one left, of course likely he didn’t know about Gordon or Logan). If anything, all that Amanda being alive would do is set her up to be one of the pigheads that helped Gordon (and I currently believe one of them was Logan).
I already explained how Hoffman escapes in another comment on another video. Basically he placed something in that room prior to Saw 7, probably because he anticipated Amanda to put him in there, and fakes being defeated in front of Gordon (just like how he faked being defeated at the end of Saw 5).
The only person I feel would save Hoffman would be Cecilia, who is as ruthless as him. But the only way that works is if she allies with him instead of him killing her (he’s probably the one dude she would fail miserably at killing, so it would turn into a “if you can’t beat em, join em” scenario).

@@alfiefitzgerald8986 No it wasn’t. That was just words on commentary. NOTHING that’s actually in the film confirms who those two were. Also, back on Saw 1’s commentary they said Gordon was dead, which was never confirmed and six films later he was alive. That commentary stuff can only be taken with a grain of salt. There’s not one thing shown on-screen that even hints that the two pigheads were Brad and Ryan, two random victims who had even less screen-time than Logan prior to his reveal.
Please, people… STOP taking the words on commentary as fact, precedent is it has been overridden before. At least my theory is based on what actually is on-screen.
I want to know how Hoffman discovered Amanda was present when John's baby was killed, this is important as he uses this knowledge to blackmail Amanda and this leads to her death in Saw 3.
Logan was not one of the pigs helping Gordon. They clearly stated it was Brad and Ryan from the public trap. Idk why people keep missing that.
@@bryanbrown4521 Because it WASN’T REVEALED ON-SCREEN IN ANY FILM. The ONLY reason people think it was those two random characters is because it was said on the audio commentary. The audio commentary also claimed Gordon was dead back in Saw 1, and that is clearly not true. Anything said on the commentary is not fact, it can only be taken with a grain of salt due to the history of later films overriding it.
My reasoning for Logan being one of them is based entirely on what we are actually shown.
Logan straight-up states “10 years ago, I came out of the war a broken man. Jigsaw put the pieces of my life back together.” That means he was tested atfter he was at war, so his role in Saws 1-7 is an open question and thus it timelime wise adds up.
Logan also has the motive. We saw how he reacted to what happened to his own wife. He’d feel the same way about Hoffman killing Jill, once again adding up for him to be one of them.
Is it weird to say I liked seeing John happy with a sort of short term family at the end of saw X it makes me feel better to know he had some happy moments even if they are few and far between.
But WHY would Hoffman want to save Amanda? He wanted her dead, hence why he blackmailed her into killing Lynne. Because he KNEW it would lead to her death. So it makes no sense that he would later decide to save her?? I don't get it.

More likely Dr Gordon would be capable of saving Amanda with his medical skills

Nah, the police investigation stuff takes away a lot of time. I hope not, we got enough of that from the other movies.
@@pedromatias7608I agree. The police investigation stuff I could do without. It either takes away from the more interesting story, or makes the movie so jarring by constantly going back and forth from the investigation to the game.
I think when(if) Hoffman saves Amanda, it will be an emotional reason for Hoffman that he saves her because he couldn’t save his sister.
This would be a great tie in for a Hoffman centric character analysis. I think John and Hoffman were both testing Amanda because John obviously knew she was there with Cecil. Probably why she was tested in the first place. But having Amanda clutching her throat might bring back Hoffman to his sisters memory and he just saves her
@@andrewbroome5752John didn't know she was there with Cecil, Hoffman knew and used that fact to blackmail Amanda into killing Lynn in Saw 3, which of course led to Amanda's death.
Love the Amanda Theory! If we have future movies with Amanda, Hoff and Gordon, it would more than make up for the absence of Tobin Bell!
I think if anyone was going to save Hoffman from the bathroom, it would be Adam, with the movie flashing back to show that like Eric Matthews, Amanda failed to kill him, and Hoffman staged his death scene after letting Adam go (thus explaining the issues with the corpse we saw).
I feel like revealing the Amanda survived would undercut a lot of what we saw in and after Saw 3, but revealing that Adam was around would explain things without opening up plot holes.
ironic for me as an adam truther, but i just don't see amanda being alive. her death was dramatic, poetic and great, especially having her die with john. amandas my 2nd fav (guess who's my 1st) but i just can't see it happening at all especially with hoffman of all people saving her

I am really into the idea of Cecilia meeting her end at the hands of Amanda! Amanda is definitely dead though, I reckon. I don't think it would be in her character to save Hoffman because they seem to not be able to stand each other. I would love to see more of those two bickering together though! I like what @darthmeticulous6901 said about how Hoffman could have set something up in the bathroom because he was expecting Amanda to lock him in there.

Hoffman had a chance to save her in SAW 3 before he saved the girl so I can see this for sure being the ending.
What’s to say that at the end of saw 11 we get a mid credit scene with Hoffman in the bathroom and it’s revealed that Cecilia is the one to set him free ?
I don’t understand why NOBODY talks about what happened to Daniel. He survived and would be so pissed trying to figure out what happened to his dad, Detective Matthew’s. He was a huge part of the movies around that time and there was never any mention of what happened to Daniel afterwards

I’ve made this comment on other videos (primarily reactions to X), but I’d like to think seeing Gabriella die and Carlos getting roped into this situation were the reasons why Amanda protected Daniel in SawII. After seeing one life no different than her own being snuffed out by Cecilia, and Carlos obviously having done nothing wrong, Amanda might’ve been trying to make right for being unable to save Gabriella…that being why she left Daniel somewhere “safe”, and aided him during 2’s game. And also why she gave a warning to Jeff’s kid to “don’t trust the one who saves you,” that being her warning about Hoffman staging her rescue at the beginning of SawV. Gabriella trusted Cecilia to be a part of their grift and financial stability, and look what happened to her…
She knew because of Hoffman blackmailing her with an ultimatum to kill Lynn, that she might not make it out of SawIII alive, so she left a warning for the kid as insurance. In spite of how disturbed Amanda was to go through assisting Kramer with this stuff, there was that shed of humanity still in her to protect the kids who got involved. My heart breaks for her.
I saw a fan comic where Hoffman hid some tools in a removable tile in the wall and escaped the bathroom.

Lawrence is also behind the wall at the end of Saw 3. When Strahm is abducted, the person in the pig mask limps away, and Hoffman was much too busy at the time to do it. Lawrence coming out of the wall and performing surgery on Amanda would make sense to me. I believe the news report about the events was missing 1 body aswell, but I could be remembering that wrong...
The twist for 12 could be that Cecelia thinks she’s won by playing Hoffman & Amanda off each other (and it works coz they hate each other) but she’s taken down by Gordon as she wasn’t aware of him.
Also I love Amanda but she’s dead as a door nail. She lost too much blood, that room was sealed shut & Hoffman was too busy getting Strahm in the water box then looking the hero victim. Plus if he had touched Amanda he would have got covered in blood
Amanda, Hoffman, Dr. Gordon and Logan all still alive? That's enough to go on for another 10 movies that aren't prequels but they could work any of those people into the behind the scenes stuff from Saw 3D giving that movie some more credibility within the timeline. I think the future of saw (mostly) hinges on Tobin Bell staying alive and healthy but they have plenty of material to work with regardless.
Are we sure the film is going to focused on Hoffman? I would love that but i also dont want to get my hopes up with out good evidence
Amanda being alive is something I've often wondered about, it's not a big reach by any means and I love your idea of Hoffman being saved from the bathroom by Amanda
I would be more suprise if cecilia will become another apprentice and forshadowing through the future saw series which connects to logan why he got the thrown as the new jigsaw and put against other surviving apprentices like Dr. Gordon and Hoffman.
Amanda is dead. You only have four minutes to survive after being shot in the jugular artery. She’ll probably be back in flashbacks. I predict we’ll learn that Hoffman and Logan have a history. The latter frees him from the bathroom.
Ultimately, Eleanor comes back into play and takes on a bigger role in solving the case.
They have to do enough saw to give us all the in-between parts and loop back to spiral and end that story but perhaps just a spiral part 2 and use the remaining saw titles so do satisfying set up to pay off with a reveal in spiral part 2.
if lawrence does come back for saw 11 (which i would love), he'd prob only be for a small post creds scene like saw x with hoffman

Hoffman has to be either dead or in jail by Jigsaw… because you cannot convince me he wouldn’t be a suspect during Jigsaw. “We have a Jigsaw copy cat… but we don’t suspect the at large known Saw accomplice.
But now saying this it would be great if l Hoffman was let out of jail for some reason (technicality anyone?!) and starts killing again and then Gordon or Amanda then takes on a vigilante role.
The first Saw makes everything SO HARD not to muddle up with John's "rules".
I can't remember which one but I think it was one of the FBI agents said John and Amanda was in the room dead but I could be wrong
what if it's Adam instead of Amanda that saves him, an extended flash back from 3 of Amanda trying to suffocate Adam when Hoffman stops her telling her it's against the rules then switching him out with detective tab's body which was never found. this would play into when john told her during 3 that he cleaned up her mistakes & forgave her for them only he didn't know Hoffman rescued Adam.
What about Logan Nelson I feel he will be an important part of the legacy from what was said in jigsaw
He will be important in saw 12 which conclude hoffman's fate. For now saw 11 will be focus of hoffman vs amanda
I'm hoping we get an Amanda POV film which explores how she went from how she was in Saw II to how she was in Saw III. Perhaps she put together more games that we haven't seen, and many of them went wrong, and the surviving subjects became worse as a result.
I'd love to see Saw 11 to begin with the end scene of Saw 10!
I think that Hoffman will be truly tested by Doctor Gordon.
Amanda dying is still up in the air, but I'm sure she's gone.

Another idea sprung to mind....keep the films about Jigsaw and the apprentices and then have a tv series like Spiral (copycat killers with a different killer each season)
Hey what if in a future SAW movie, it's set in the modern time but all the previous alive apprentices are put into a big series of traps. It wll be very interesting if they did this as the apprentices will have great knowledge on how the traps work but will still get outsmarted.
I kinda like that idea. So that will be Logan, William and possibly Hoffman. That will be an easy win for Hoffman. But who would have put them there? Dr Gordon maybe. Or would he be in the trap as well.
I like the Amanda survival theory but I just don’t feel it fits Hoffman’s character. He’s ruthless and doesn’t like loose ends. Amanda and John knew his secrets and he was happy to be the cause of their deaths. Look at how relentlessly he chased Jill.
The only way I see Amanda surviving would be Gordon saving her, with John having instructed him to keep a close eye on the events of saw 3 and get her to safety before police arrive if needed. As soon as Strahm is out of the room, Gordon enters and gives her medical attention.
Either way, if she survives I don’t see her having any desire to save Hoffman. He’s the reason John died and Amanda is so emotionally attached to John that she can’t forgive that.
If Hoffman gets out of the bathroom, I think it would be an Eric Matthews style foot-smashing!
Hoffman is so brutal in the later films maybe he gained that from Cecilia
Mark my words. Saw 11 will be a direct sequel to Saw 4 where detective Daniel Rigg does not die, or at least not how we thought.
But Hoffman says how it was only Corbin and him "no one else survived"

Imo, there's really no need for Amanda to go back to kill Cecilia, like she did with Adam. Her fate's pretty much worse than death, left to rot there, hopeless, but I mean Amanda showed Adam "mercy" and if this is her becoming unhinged, especially after Gabriella's cruel fate, who's to stop her really. If they do go back to her via flashback, what'd be even better is if she somehow manages to escape...maybe come back in Saw 11 or 12. And if there will be a Saw 12, I really hope its not a prequel...cause people are obsessed with making prequels and it does NOT work all to well, one or two is fine, when you get to three there can be a heightened risk of retconning (again, MY opinion). X is fine because it explains even more of what was lost and what was gained (and as far as I know it either is or will be the Saw film with THE biggest earnings to date). 11 can go a number of ways, which is very good, but for 12 or whatever the last film will be before someone decides to piss all over the franchise and reboot it from scratch; which sadly has a high probability of happening, the last one really should be a celebratory sendoff, not a good or decent film, an incredible film. Tmv~

I kinda feel like Cecilia is smart and evil enough to become a new Jigsaw but with her own philosophies and visions. So maybe she doesn’t die. She’s just such a strong good character.

In Saw 5 after Hoffman and everyone arrives at the Gideon building they say out loud "we have a live one" being Straham. Amanda is dead

It's just annoying how we have to pretend that all the events in the new films have been there since the beginning. If everything was already planned out in the beginning, Amanda could have said a line during the brain surgery in SAW 3 that would have been a callback to SAW X events ("You're getting surgery for real this time unlike Mexico City). I think Amanda kills Cecilia, but if she becomes a thorn in the side of Jigsaw, or a possible apprentice, she would have been referenced between SAW 3- 7, but we just have to go with it. They might as well add a plot line where John was abused by a family member or mentor which inspired him to create the traps in the first place. Hell, John could have a 2nd son that was never mentioned that will take over his work.
I would like for the little Mexican boy to help Hoffman get out. The kid would've been old enough in the timeline
I personally think the Hoffman era of it all is the worst of Saw. So if this can change a little bit of my view towards Hoffman then it's a win for me.
Maybe Logan saves Hoffman?

I think in saw 11 Amanda will come back, team with Hoffman to take on Logan and Gordon in saw 12. As much as i don't like Logan he has to be somewhere or it doesnt make sense for him to exist. As a side note, I will forever hope for an Adam return, even if he is dead 😂

I'm in the opposite camp tbh. I prefer Hoffman to Amanda. That being said, I would like to see Amanda be the one to go after Cecilia.
My theory is that somehow, one of the apprenticed will go after Cecelia’s father. They mentioned him more than one and I don’t it was just a coincidence. For all we know her dad is a scammer too and they will use Cecilia to lure in him in for a SAW trap!
