Nice points here as to why this wouldn't be a good investment, Bill. I recall seeing Brock from Rockhill Farm doing a series with a Frontier model similar to yours. He came to the same conclusion you did. On the other hand, if I was going to get one, I'd go for one that's a chipper/shredder to process the smaller stuff.
Great point! RCPS. Your smart to know what your expectations are before purchasing a chipper. Have a great summer and thanks so much for watching my videos. -Bill
Just found your channel recently but I’m catching up quickly. I’m really enjoying to honest feed back and the straight forward approach to your channel. I just purchased my first tractor, a 2032R, that’s being delivered this Friday. I’m looking forward to putting it to good use. Keep up the great content. You have me adding to my list of projects/implements. Far Hills, NJ
Hello Mr Miller, so glad you joined us, we’ve been waiting for you 😄 Thanks for taking time to check in. Enjoy your new tractor, your going to love what it will allow you to do. Be safe and trust the short hairs on your neck to let you know something isn’t right. Remember if you do something that causes an adverse reaction just undo what you did. -Bill
Bill, your video brings back memories. Had a wallenstein BX42 for a number of years and ran it on my Kubota BX. Worked pretty well, but like you said , you have to mix some bigger stuff with the whisppy branches to get it through without extra effort. Worst stuff was anything with pine needles - plugged up every time. Would have loved one with hydraulic feed, but just didn’t have the horsepower to run the hydraulic motor along eith the PTO chipper.
Hi Bill, Good to see a new video from you. I may be in the market for a chipper next year and could never see why anyone would buy a chipper without a feeder. The rental is an even better idea if one is available!

Good video. Around here you can have a guy come out for a few hundred bucks and do all the work for you : )
So true! Rental or hiring someone is often the most efficient way to go.
Thanks for your comment-Bill
Yes I would do the same thing as you will do rent a chipper
Thanks Mark!!
