I wouldn't buy any appliance with AI or any other "smart" feature. The dumber a device is, the better it is for longevity and repairability. When looking at the schematic of a fridge, if there's more than 1 page of ladder/electrical diagram, it's too complicated for nothing. It's a fridge. It needs a compressor, 2 switches, 2 lights, a fan or two and thermistances. All stuff that can easily be repaired if they break. Too many "smart" appliance become junk because they tied everything to one or two complicated boards with SoC. Instead of being old school with relays, timers, and switches.
So the microwave has a camera so you can watch the food cook in real time, the microwave wave I own and purchased for about $25 at a garage sale has this thing called a window that allows me to do the same thing except it will never glitch out or add unnecessary cost. Some times just because you can doesn't mean you should.
