Very first news report mentions it was an attack not a fault with the truck. Also musk doesn't have a say for right to repair the bill for right to repair was passed 10 years ago and has already been a law.
It actually didn’t detonate. It was merely flammable vapors that reached their stoichiometric ratio and were ignited by the muzzle flash of the suspects firearm. These vapors ignited the fireworks and accelerants in the truck causing a fireball. Not an actual detonation. The collateral damage would be much worse if it detonated.
So your calling me stupid. Can you tell me how the first frames of the explosion came from the front and rear wheeele wells. I think the word your looking for is naive.
The truck is stainless steel which gets harder when heated but in an explosion it has resiliency. Also it depends greatly on where the explosive was located and how the direction of the charge and containment shape when detonation occured.

Interesting information on the fire servivability of the Tesla battery . I would be keen to hear of any similar studies from reputable sources following the tragic Californian wildfires ?
A bomb would likely deform the reinforced battery pack frame, but even should some of the li-ion batteries become cracked, they should still be encased in an airless and foam-sealed space, thus have little-to-no air to actually burn the lithium with.
I'll tell you what happened. It's saved a lot of lives because it exploded and went straight up instead of out to the sides.Where it wasn't destroyed. That builded and anybody else inside so good job Tesla
Are you all aware that a Tesla was also found parked on a street in California in Palisades. The entire neighborhood is burned to the ground and nothing except the metal hull of the Tesla remains.
You would think after all this time some information would come out. If you looked closely at the cyber truck the driver was sitting in the driver seat and there was no pistol flash from the gun going off.
Yes, creating shells containing explosions famously makes them less dangerous (grenades, pipe bombs, etc). And this is definitely not because he had a bunch of fireworks in the open back and that not causing a real explosion, no siree.
It certainly does, Nobody would try to "Blow Up" their Own Cybertruck, some Idiot did it for "who knows what reason", Great Test, Probably Expected Outcome, (all the force went straight up).
Cabin was full of camping fuel and racing gas. The truck was dripping fuel from the cabin and the bed. It is conjectured that the fuel vapors and the muzzle flash set the conflagration off. LVPD has a news conference video on RUclips that explains what happened. Google has some value.
You can see a tear down of the CT’s battery on the Monroe Live yt channel. The battery is quite well protected. (I’m not convinced that trucks are a good form of EV given current battery technology, but respect the engineering-if not the ego-that went into the CT)
What in the joker of Gotham City is going on here? Somebody planted a bomb and then killed themselves before it exploded??? That makes no sense whatsoever and we can't question him. 😂

oops. didnt identify the bot. the fact there is a $5 comment bot farm on this issue is startling. like how unhinged do you meed to be to pull the trigger on this decision lol. "hmm. its only 5 bux. im going to flood the comments section of a Canadian channel about Tesla with anti trump propaganda. that will get my side to win!" lol
@ScottGunMag69 read his contradictory manifesto before you say more ill informed words
I don't see Ford using a similar tragedy to promote their pickups.
Thats because the electric ford that plowed through the crowd didnt hold up that well
Shawn Ryan’s video about this sounds like a movie, but he wouldn’t put all the info he has on it if he didn’t believe it, which is worrying!
Very first news report mentions it was an attack not a fault with the truck. Also musk doesn't have a say for right to repair the bill for right to repair was passed 10 years ago and has already been a law.
3:48 let me give you a little life advice: People are idiots.
Addendum : The more people , the more idiots .
I don't buy that!
@ well, the front of the building and awning are still there. Windows on the building didn’t break. Not a detonation.
If you were stupid, you would think that it’s a battery failure.
So your calling me stupid. Can you tell me how the first frames of the explosion came from the front and rear wheeele wells. I think the word your looking for is naive.
Lots of stupid people , they all say the battery exploded Then they have stupid emojis other they say lol
No one thinks that lol
@Wildman-zh8lg who says that lol
Imagine one of the richest men in the world right now saying they’re gonna sue you, your pretty much better be saying your prayers.
Sue Sue Sue the corrupt media!
It actually works over in China of all places. tesla has successfully sued chinese media and individuals for false reports on teslas!
@@alesh2275 and Sue Sue Sue Musk for his lies on X
@ go ahead and sue Musk so we can let the courts ascertain who’s lying.
@@alesh2275 we should not needs courts to decide truth
The truck became self aware and realized where it was and who made it.
Tesla sales didn’t tank. Their production did.
The truck is stainless steel which gets harder when heated but in an explosion it has resiliency. Also it depends greatly on where the explosive was located and how the direction of the charge and containment shape when detonation occured.
The trucks built like a Nokia?! 💀💀💀
Even our german media tried to present it like the cybertruck exploded by itself
I can’t believe they made it bulletproof but not explosive 🧨 proof
I encourage EVERYONE to watch Shawn Ryan’s ep on this
It was a terrorist attack.
When it was still going on, some fool said that that sparkle the video showed was from the lithium. /facepalm
So many people talking out of their a$$es.
shit for brains. literally.
Right to repair is essential. Proud to hold Tesla
He's worth billions all he has to do is make Tesla repairs available and information to the public. He's the one who made it near impossible to do it yourself.
Sell now before it’s too late
@@abstract_extremist lol False...Tesla is open source. This is how we can fix them ourselves without help from Tesla. 8/
TL;DR; The explosion on Cybertruck was actually a giant net positive PR for Tesla, a good advert.
"Runs and Drives" is pretty gnarly considering what this thing went through...
I imagine DoD interest is sufficiently piqued, or should be
I dont know what hes talking about, every news station broadcasted that the explosion was set.
Just when I think I can't love Elon Musk anymore he goes and does something else amazing. As someone who works on vehicles, having the 3d model of all the components and connections is insanely helpful...crazy helpful.
Elon was so excited that someone bombed his vehicle, and it didn't even pop a tire!!! Wow 😮
Thanks for the breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My okx wallet holds USDT and win, and I have the seed phrase: (tag suit turtle raccoon orange fever main skull special hungry crystal mixture) .What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Should be video from inside the cab. Why haven't we seen that?
There was a vw commercial predicting its durability with a self unaliver bomber 😂😂
The moments lithium touches oxygen or is exposed to oxygen it incinerates it basically becomes an explosive
The 3D wiring view is fucking incredible
It was very obvious that the media was trying to damage Tesla's reputation. They should definitely sue.
You expect me to believe that 😂😂😂
Much appreciated
Interesting information on the fire servivability of the Tesla battery . I would be keen to hear of any similar studies from reputable sources following the tragic Californian wildfires ?
A bomb would likely deform the reinforced battery pack frame, but even should some of the li-ion batteries become cracked, they should still be encased in an airless and foam-sealed space, thus have little-to-no air to actually burn the lithium with.
I hope Tesla sells the skateboard so restomods can be made by putting older car bodies on the Tesla frame.
The cyber truck that exploded at the Trump Tower could have been at Toyota Tacoma same results😂
The battery was never involved. If it did there would've been a different kind of fire in a different location.
The batteries in other electric vehicles are sub par and this is why they catch fire
That guy didnt set a bomb off. Its clear if he wanted to make a bomb he wouldve. This was something else.
It can withstand an explosion...
The Cybertruck...
It's really an armored vehicle...💧
Yes, creating shells containing explosions famously makes them less dangerous (grenades, pipe bombs, etc). And this is definitely not because he had a bunch of fireworks in the open back and that not causing a real explosion, no siree.
I wonder why i didnt find out about this until i came across it on youtube
This is an unintended test case which greatly benefits Tesla in the long run.
It certainly does, Nobody would try to "Blow Up" their Own Cybertruck, some Idiot did it for "who knows what reason", Great Test, Probably Expected Outcome, (all the force went straight up).
You have to be trolling
Like there isn’t enough crapp around tesla, you thinking another vehicle blowing up is good for them is lunacy
There was no muzzel flash on the videos from said self inflicted gun shot?
I would say it's a waste of money for repairs. But it's good for the environment
Musk supports your right to repair just like he supports your right to free speech.
I want to see the "inside" video from the truck???
How did the fireball show under the truck in the 1st frame without going through the battery?
Cabin was full of camping fuel and racing gas. The truck was dripping fuel from the cabin and the bed. It is conjectured that the fuel vapors and the muzzle flash set the conflagration off. LVPD has a news conference video on RUclips that explains what happened. Google has some value.
Not from burning
You can see a tear down of the CT’s battery on the Monroe Live yt channel. The battery is quite well protected. (I’m not convinced that trucks are a good form of EV given current battery technology, but respect the engineering-if not the ego-that went into the CT)
What in the joker of Gotham City is going on here? Somebody planted a bomb and then killed themselves before it exploded??? That makes no sense whatsoever and we can't question him. 😂
While I still can't afford a Tesla (or any new car for that matter). The repairability of one (or any EV) is so bad that I had written them off. The part availability and cad models that you discussed are a complete game changer so long as the parts are actually available.
Thank you for this
The video makes it clear there were fireworks in there and was made into a bomb.
Krishna Sahai he’s on RUclips did this it’s fake
No one thought it self distructed 🙄
Highland is second only to Model S as the sexiest card Tesla has produced. I'm skeptical about the lightbar. It'd be a shame to update Highland again so soon to migrate over to that, unless it's truly spectacular.
I can see these vehicles... on mars, the moon, and other places that we will travel to in the future. perfect for atmospheres with little to no oxygen. when mars gets colinized I can see a cybertruck in every driveway
You showed us footage of a " spy shot" where the camera man is in the driver sest sticking his phone out the sunroof then proceed to say youre not sure about the dash interior. Based on your statement its safe to say thst the spy footage of the interior wasnt even a tesla. Honestly looked like an altima or something. The infotainment was almost non existand and the vents looked pre 2005
The reason why a cybertruck was used was the selve driving... Any that doesnt think the dude was incapacitated and sent on an autopilot ride
Looked like any other explosion you get from a battery, doesn't it
Tesla had tremendous gains in 2024; it did not 'tank.'
The truck is still ass but people buy it for the futuristic aesthetic bs
Dude is fake news! He also said that it blew up in front of a "Trump ran" hotel 🤣 Trump doesn't run that shit he owns it! 🤦♂️
News from X? GFY!
Why does this sound like a crazy way to sell more of his poor quality products, he doesn't care about you or anyone else, he only cares about profit for himself, he doesn't care who he hurts, it's only money he cares for. So pathetic.
the price of used teslas are getting so cheap even those never-teslas are buying them now
Can you believe it, Tesla shareholders wanting the company to be fairly represented with facts, meanwhile da da daaa the big T is headed up by an arch defamer, the double standards are just mind boggling.
Id settle for a car that can handle canadian winters.
if they would make the 3 now steer by wire, I'd immediately get a performance fully buffed out
Maybe I'm not hearing this right, but I thought he said it was a detonation from the guy that drove the truck, but yet he killed himself before the truck blew up... so how did he push the button on the detonator to blow up the truck?
I would get XiaoMi suv or BYD suv EV nxt
Yeah I came across a video about this and the ICE fans feasted and stated that EVs aren’t reliable and always explode. 🤦🏻♂️
Even if the news also showed the part where gas cans were used and fireworks were everywhere.
People with no brains easily reacted and made assumptions. 🤦🏻♂️
For me , that’s actually proof that the cybertruck was actually built strong coz it degraded the explosion. Plus the battery pack was intact! That’s engineering at its best ! 👍🏻
Saw a cybertruck and that autonome car on the brussel autoshow yesterday... What were they thinking
the dude wasnt even dead when it went off, this has been shown in other videos, at the very least he def didnt shoot himself in the head with a 50 cal DE or hell even smaller gun
These fires look like a hologram
