Can't lie, the Papo Dimetrodon is one of the best figures in Papo's line imo. The detail in the scales and sculpt plus the beautiful paint job make it head and shoulders better than the rest. I like the retired Schleich version 2nd best. It looks really good and the color scheme is MUCH better than the new version.

Ngl Papo’s figure and the Schleich retired figure look similar. Like look at the sails and the details. They look pretty similar

I own both Papo and Collecta Dimetrodon and although I like both but I’m going to say that the Collecta model is in my opinion the supreme Dimetrodon.

Safari and collectA are the best because they are the most realistic

My favourite one is the safari LTD because its the most realistic dimetrodon and its the most cheapest 🐊😀

I have the Papo and the safari ltd dimetrodon and for the price I would recommend the safari however if you have the money the papo figure is certainly better in every way except 2 the first of the 2 is the scientific accuracy as the safari figure seems to be more accurate and the second of the 2 is personal as the safari figure has more beefy legs that seem to resemble a Komodo dragon and the toes do as well look more reptilian.
However the papo figure is slightly larger and the paint job is much more detailed with an articulated jaw.
But for the price the safari is best.
