Cool mower they cut really good. I have had 2 come my way. One with a Briggs 6hp and the other with a Briggs 5HP. On the Briggs 5HP I had to convert from a choke carb (discontinued) to a primer To make things work.

Love those older Snappers. They were built like a tank. I think that you can still get replacement decks for them. They were considered to be a Commercial mower when they came out. They were definitely not cheap.
I have the bagger and mulch plug and the side discharge chute for mine but the poor old engine is on it's last leg. Mine is a slightly older model with the Briggs Quantum engine. I think that I am going to repower mine with a Honda GCV190. It's my favorite mower and I use it all of the time so why not spend some $$$ on it instead of buying some new garbage.
