ESL English Games - Amazing vocabulary game - all age levels! // The ESL Guy Hope you enjoy the video, for any future requests please write in the comments below. Cheers!
I can feel this game is great!I know you from Mike's home esl Live comments, and I really want to spport every teacher who is willing to share good ideas and help plenty of new teachers out!I will watch all your videos and give comments when I'm free!
By the way,I have a question about the game. For example, blue is a tick, pink is a cross, everyone make a circle, teacher say a word, and throw a ball to next students,if teacher say pink, means no catch, then should teacher throw the ball to him?Cause I'm afraid that will hurt student.it's not very understanding for me for this point!Wait for your reply, thank you!
Hi Morgan, the best thing to use is a foam dice for this game and let all students know that they might have to try and catch it if the correct word is said. The students should also repeat the word after the teacher says it. I have played this for all age levels even adults, 😂 I'll make a video of the kids playing so it's more clear. Thanks so much for your comments.
@@AndyTheESLGuy I'm sorry! But we can't even use this game to review any vocabulary, simply because the students don't connect the meaning of these words to the fact of catching a ball.
@@romulopereira4867 No worries man, just meant as a bit of fun. As you throw the ball they have to say the word. Maybe give it a try and see if they like it...😄

Where is the communicative purpose of this game?
It's a game to review vocabulary, it's not meant for back and forth communicating.
