I know this video is 2 weeks old or more but we were there in Utah and Foxie Dog too, Utah is one of my favorite States. Just beautiful. We went through the Arch's National Park, Everyone should go and be prepared to stop, you will want to stop and just look and wonder how many millions of years it took. Just beautiful. That's why the bigger companies dump these trucks at around 400,000 miles..that's when they start breaking and there's a little warranty left..the new buyer thinks it's a deal😂

Greeting all. We had similar issues with our D21 and XC90. May I suggest purchasing the coolant level sensor connector and swap it out. If problem continues, then start replacing wires from sensor six inches to a foot at a time. Drive safe.

You know John, Stress is a really good excuse to go off diet. But if not now when, you will always have stress we all do if it isn't one thing it will be another. You can do this no matter what, it only takes a little bit of commitment. Stay the course John. Make the effort, 3 meals in ten hours with no snacks, no potatoes, no root vegetables, no sugar of any kind. Meat and vegetables only. The coolant tank float has dropped to the bottom so the tank has to be changed I have changed a few of them on volvo buses here in Ireland might be the same setup

The thing is once you start having these problems they'll always come back because it's a flaw in the design after a certain mileage, apparently.....seems Grace and Faith have had similar issues if I remember.......Grace was a turbo that quit and now Faith has faulty sensors and corroded wires to the ECM......
Does seem like a wire issue, maybe you could get someone to put a overlay harness for the sensor to ecm instead of going through entire harness and trying to find a bad spot...

Here’s an idea… Go to a Volvo dealer. They actually have trained mechanics.

HI LARRY! from Jim and Sandy in eastern Oregon.🙂 John number 1 your not a mechanic, you're a driver and a darned good one, number 2 that's a cookie cutter truck they last x number of miles then ya sell them otherwise your spending money chasing down problems. If I may suggest for harness connector problems buy a can of CRC Electronic cleaner and a toothbrush, for connector faults use the CRC to clean the connectors.🙃Now another idea is carry a couple of packs of weather pack connectors and the tools to crimp them, you might only use them once a year to fix a broken or faulty connector....But it's better to have and not need than to need and have not.🙃
