Thank you! The parting blade is 1/16th (1.59mm). Rough dimensions are: Total length: .403, threaded section including shoulder is .196, length of unthreaded section (cylindrical tip) is .152. 3-48 pitch on the threads
I own only a Dremel , any chance your future vids will include instruction using this ubiquitous tool. Instead of a lathe owned by only a handful of your viewers
Yes of course! We always use the proper tools for the procedures described. We use a Dremel or Foredom when that's the best tool and we can do some more vids with those. To do machining you will need machine tools. Hand tools are simply not accurate enough to do this type of work.
