The helmet Isha wore is a standard mining helmet as seen in Vander’s flashback both him and Silco also Jinx’s parents wore the same helmets which mean two things 1-Isha was forced to work in the mines and escaped hence she was getting chase by Chross’s goons. 2-she stole it.
im sure she escape a factory than a mine since the core work of Zaun is drugs lmao or factories for machines is the same the mines in episode 5 are empty of people and is the same one of Silco and Vander
I'm glad somebody else realized this if you look at season 1 they're still using rowboats or motor boats now they have built this whole sped up system to move Mass amounts of people
To drown their sorrows, try to experience the emptiness, or divert themselves, Caitlyn and Maddie's sleeping arrangement is similar to Vi drinking herself to death. To cope with their emotions, they both turn to maladaptive coping strategies.
I'm a bit surprised by people reacting to Cait and Maddie sleeping together, as if that was somehow a negative thing to Vi. I mean, neither of them are officially dating or anything, and I don't know if Vi would care even *if* they had time to figure the relationship out. Am I just out of touch?
@@yargolocus4853 Nah, you're not out of touch, but it's true that there's many faces to this In one side, people when sort of "figuring things" out with someone may feel betrayed if the other side does these things with someone else, it's human sentiment, and it can happen, even if not officially dating it may just feels like a kick in the gut because you don't feel that special anymore, even if Vi may not feel like this, it's just public interpretation that's just based on their morals. In other hand is the fact that this ship is sort of viewed as "official", which makes people sort of mad because "oh my ship was tarnished!", as if both of them didn't go to a prost... center before in Zaun. Last is the "shock" factor, it really is unexpected. Two characters that while related in some ways, mainly through the enforcer job, were not seen interacting in such a manner, Maddie even less, which in turn adds to the surprise and may drive people to see this as bad. So it's just a jumble of opinions on the matter (Edit on something I thought: Vi would most likely still give a nice punch to Maddie, or at least, it feels like it to me, idk, they were coworkers after all.)
I had the same thought! I mean I was not expecting Maddie to pop into that scene and I leaned back hard in shock making sad Caitvi shipper noises, but I didn't rage at Cait. Like I was disappointed, but I could understand. Others...wow...needed to scale back the actual anger lol. People have different coping mechanisms, so Caitlyn seeking comfort from the weight on her shoulders and also to fill the Vi shaped hole in her heart with Maddie in what appears to be quite purely a physical arrangement as Caitlyn seems to move from Maddie's touches, Vi self-destructing with alcohol and violence to vent her anger and frustration is her own copium. While both can be perceived as toxic ways to cope, they're common human reactions.
When Singed locked himself in the prison I didn't really see him as having a plan to escape. He wanted to stay locked until someone powerful got to him to interrogate him. It would make sense that he was seeking a powerful alliance so that he could get more resources to try and save Ori.
i mean the point of caitlyn sleeping with someone is that she's increasingly isolated and lonely without vi. She is repeatedly showed taking actions that dont align with her values, doing stuff just to fill voids, frustrated, etc so that later when she meets vi again, she's on such a boiling point that she jumps at a chance for setting things right
Lesbians must be built different cause it seems like most men would never get back with their ex, knowing they've been seeking love elsewhere while you just drowned in sorrow.
also echoes mel saying earlier that caitlyn is good at hiding/compartmentalizing her emotions, vs vi who literally cries n drinks nonstop, punching her emotions out in the ring
@@duhneez2068 exactly… Caitlyn is toootally over Vi, because if she wasn’t completely moved on then why would she be dating someone new, hm? She’s putting the cart before the horse, expecting to ride off into the sunset with a new date and she’ll just feel better later somehow Completely over her, suuure… more like completely head over heels for her!
Theory - Mel is a mage and was "stolen" by Ambessa when she had an affair. We all know Leblanc is looking for mages, and Mel is probably one of them (probably passed on by her biological father). It would explain how they survived Jinx's rocket, how she was able to see the runes in her "prison for false prophets (aka, non-mages)", and how she was able to break free from Leblanc's chains. In Ambessa's music video, the child in her womb also had glowing gold eyes, and then a scene later, Ambessa's arrow wound got healed. This might show that Mel might have healing/protective powers Also, League of Legends is probably due for another Support hero, they might turn Mel into one
This seems really obvious to me, but everyone keeps acting so confused by it. The only mystery is who her father is and how she inherited power from him.
Another minor detail - when mel slams her brother's head, blood/veiny energy explodes onto the wall, as opposed to LB's chain/rose aesthetic to her energy, and when the apparition fades into the wall there's a faint evil male laugh, followed by a male and female voice saying "We had such high hopes for you". This simply MUST be Vladimir's doing in my opinion.
I think the Bunny Ears are a throwback to Vi's favourite toy (a Bunny Rabbit). The one she gave Powder when leaving to turn herself in - heavy sisterhood symbolism.
Give EFAP a watch for a more critical analysis, it's long but worth it, because it doesn't get lost in the hype and addresses a lot of issues with the season.
For the sister part : it’s common for coven of witches to all call one another sisters. That’s how I saw it, now Mel being LB’s sister in the literal sense, but more so her being or having the powers of a witch
One more detail about the Gear in the end. The Gear in de beginning is spinning around 2 Times before it cuts out and the "flash forward" ends. The Gear in the end of the episode rolls in and falls over instantly. These two gears are not in the same timeline.
This also aligns with **WARNING ACT 3 SPOILERS** The 4chan leak post about multiple timelines being created, where ekko and heimer were. The leaks also suggested Vi passing away young in one of those timelines, heimer sacrificing himself for Jayce and Jinx and Warwick dying fighting each other in the main timeline
Caits arc was never about her becoming a dictator. She never wanted power or position or even control, her arc is about how her trauma, despite her rhetoric of wanting to make people safe, is driving her blind pursuit of revenge while ignoring all the harm it caused. A mirroring of how, despite his rhetoric of brotherhood, Silco was only out for revenge on topside with no regard for how much death and suffering he had to cause among even his own people in S1.
Singed is a true villain his motive just creates a monster his motive to save his daughter ..he got philosophy same with victor but singed created a monster victor created a machine, singed he kill vander self to make him rampage....
Yea I like the idea that her dictator moment at the end of ep 3 was never meant to be the beginning of a dictator arc, but rather the climax of her dark arc that had already been happening across those first three episodes. Like if you want to claim that as the start of her arc, then it implies that the moments like Cait deploying chemical warfare and being ready to risk killing a kid were just the early hints that she would become evil, rather than what I would consider them to be, which is proof points that she WAS doing heinous things in a path of rage already. She was already well into that arc imo.
17:59 Margot and Chross are probably not dead, just arrested. Cait used the net launcher and when the Squad was attacking their lairs, most of the goons just seemed beat up, not killed. 25:25 One of the Jinxers is dressed like LoL Jinx 34:44 While WW was butchering the guards, there is a flash of Singed so maybe because they share the same blood, he is predisposed not to harm him.
the point of caitlyn sleeping with maddie is the same as vi drinking herself to a pulp - drowning their sorrows, trying to feel the emptiness, distracting themselves - both of them use unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with how they're feeling
As a League lore fan, I’ve spent years bracing myself for possible disappointment, thinking nothing could live up to Season 1. But here we are… THEY SURPASSED IT. I can’t even process what Act 3 is going to do to me emotionally... Arcane is pure art. From the heart-wrenching sister fight, to the jaw-dropping Vander/Felicia/Silco backstory, to the haunting silence of Isha calming Jinx in her chaos, to the deliquescence of Viktor and Jayce. It's all just perfection. A narrative that heals us before it destroys us. It’s storytelling at its finest. I deeply think I have never seen characters (especially female characters) written in such a way, with such depth, flaws, and raw realism. Massive respect to the French Studio Fortiche and Riot's writers, you’ve created one of the most breathtaking works of fiction EVER. Bravo!
The people replying to you are grade A haters and can’t even allow YOU to enjoy it more than season 1. Because they did not enjoy it, they have to tell you that you shouldn’t either
@doomwalker977 hello, no one is telling them to not enjoy it. Everyone is just sharing their opinions. This person thinks it was great but I think it's not. Does that mean I'm hating and trying to change their opinion? No
I am pretty sure they started dyeing their hair blue because of what jinx did in act 1. She redirected parts of the ventilation system for the grey and made it colorful, and exploded it in the upper city. You can see it when they painted her mural with the colorful explosions. 🎉
Also the poster that Isha gestures to is plastered all over Zaun as enemy number one, she and her blue hair became a symbol of resistance to the Piltover invasion and oppression through the same enforcer propaganda intended to hunt her down for… objectively what Piltover is doing or already has done to Zaun in the name of *~pRoGrEsS~*
1 1/2 hour video I’m not surprised at all 59:41 they weren’t Warwick, Vi, & Jynx in this scene. I think they went back to being Vander, Violet, & Powder
1:11:02 Viktor walking through Vander/Warwick's mind struck me as being reminiscent of how a good therapist works and how people build up an inner "beast" in response to trauma to protect themselves, which will show itself to anyone who tries to go too deep too quickly.
yes!! So many ppl think that Jayce's visions of the cultists are some kind of reveal of what Viktor is "actually" doing to them, but I really disagree. He couldn't have helped Vander the way he did if he was just turning them into freaky drones full of holes and oozing blood. It's either that Jayce is being made to see things like that to manipulate him into killing Viktor, or that he's just flashing back to what he saw would ultimately become of the cultists. As they are now, it's more like they're being turned into inorganic bodies, hence their lack of breath and immunity from the cold, and Viktor suppressed their capacity for negative emotions like fear and anger in an attempt to ensure peace. That's why Singed's mind and memories had such an impact on him, because he realized that getting rid of negative emotions still isn't enough. Love is just as dangerous and destructive as hatred. Good job, Jayce. How this was supposed to SAVE the timeline, I'd sure love to know! But I also love how Viktor is so much more expressive and vibrant when he's in the mental space, none of the tiredness he has even in his new body. And he also looks the same as when he first met Jayce. It's such a subtle detail but it means so much 😭
Small ( but maybe important ) detail about the coin. In the beginning of the episode the coin rolls a few time around before falling on the ground. At the end of the episode the coin falls on the ground immediately. I don't think this would be a mistake from Fortiche, so it might hint at the different timelines as well.
Could also be the same with Jinx's pistol "mistake". Two timelines, one where the pistol has been modified with hextech, and another where it hasn't. Jinx without the hextech pistol doesn't last long enough in her fight with Warwick to bring out Vander.
1:50 nope, it's pretty clear: the paint on the wall that Vi see shows us Jinx + Piltover covered by the painted smoke of the end of Act 1. That event for the people of Zaun was symbolic, we can see some reaction of zaunite children in episode 3 after the colored gas scene It's true, it's quick and it should have more screentime and explanation, but all of the clues are here
6:00 The bunny ears Isha wears are a reference to Jinx's in-game model. Her minigun in-game has the exact same bunny ear headband on it too. 32:30 This is about Ep4, not about Ep5, right? Ashnikko made Paint the Town Blue, not the song that plays during Vi's montage at the start of Ep5. 34:55 That's not the scalpel he used to cut himself. It looks different, and the enforcers made him drop the other one.
12:04 it kinda mimics the way Caitlyn would aim at Jinx directly. The magnifying glass is the scope, and the eyes would line up the way they would when seen through a scope with Cait’s right eye being in a straight line with Jinx’ left one (assuming Cait’s dominant eye is the right one and she shoots with the right hand as trigger hand) Edit: something else that’s kinda funny and shows a love for details, the lines all ending in Jinx’ eye mean two things both are connected with focus which means both the point where all light rays connect (further emphasising that the focus point of the investigation is to capture Jinx and not to make Zaun obedient) as well as Cait personally taking the shot because the focus of a scope is the point where the crosshairs lines intersect, while also indicating that at this point Caitlyn considers it a hunt where one of the two dies, since the scope analogy works the other way around as well, meaning either Cait kills Jinx or Jinx kills her. Just a nice little detail, which doesn’t mean Caitlyn has gone mad at this point and the only way out is one of them dying, but in her head that’s the only way she could find peace after her mom died, until she meets Vi
Truthfully, I think this “Special Child” that Leblanc is referencing … may possibly be a reference Rell. Realistically Rell’s Lore doesn’t even “need” to be changed in order for this to work. She has a Mother that has an esteemed and well respected Lineage but is falling from Grace and a Footsoldier father (Ambessa, a Medarda, falls in love with someone who is a grunt). Rell is raised learning from mages and Leblanc makes a deal with Ambessa, recruiting her in the Black Rose. Kino finds out about Rell and tracks her down, and he finds her and reveals to her the secrets of the Black Rose (Sacrificing other mage kids to make Rell Stronger). Rell escapes, dismantling the Academy, and Kino is punished for it. Ambessa would have been in charge of Rell’s development, so she is at fault as well so she flees in hope that Mel’s Hextech funding may be able to create weapons for Noxus as way to win favor with Leblanc. Theres also 2 other things that work towards this being a possibility: 1) Rell’s story specifically mentions her Mom’s favorite quote is “Excellence is measured in Sacrafice”, which Ambessa herself claims to be a 4th pillar, and 2) Mel is told this information as if its a 3rd Child other than Kino and Mel herself. Her reaction to this new info is confusion and denial, as if Mel couldn’t see her ever falling in love with someone and conceiving (hinting she probably doesn’t think Ambessa even cared for Mel’s father) Idk, thought it was a cool reference that may possibly tie into a Noxus show in development
12:25 this scene is so much cooler cause she walks over the the fire and starts stoking it as she is manipulating caitlyn and stoking the fires of conflict
idk if it's been said yet, but Viktor seeing Skye might not just be his imagination/conscience, but that Skye is part of him now because he literally absorbed her (not saying she is independent/sentient either but just her soul) (and maybe the arcane had a part in making her 'come out'?)
I believe the scene on the bridge is implying that it was specifically Silco who brought the Molotov Cocktail to the bridge turning a protest into a riot by immolating an enforcer. This would mean that Silco is directly responsible for the deaths at the bridge including Jinx and Vi's parents. This would also explain Vanders rage.
@@keilonbraz We see flashes of Warwick's memory through still images, one of them includes Silco standing on the bridge and raising a molotov into the air.
1:29:40 Another note from the soundtrack side of things, the scene of Vander truly becoming Warwick plays 'Revenge', the song from season 1 played over Vander's last stand after Powder blows up Silco's lab. Not to mention the parallel in lighting between the two scenes ^^
Amanda Overton did a watch along of episode 4 with Not-So-Average-Fangirl where Amanda said it was an ambiguous time jump, but maybe 3, 4, or maybe 6 months from episode 3.
i think that’s my biggest problem with s2 so far. to me, a lot of the vague criticisms of pacing stems from this. to be clear - pacing is off to me as well, but i had this same issue when watching game of thrones. hair growth seems to be a pretty good gage of time and i can /maybe/ see them trying to do that with isha? but it’s hard to tell. i don’t know how they would be able to alleviate that problem without a hokey “five months later” text on screen, i just wish they’d have found a way to make it more clear how much time has passed. the s1 timeskip is much easier to understand, even without having an explicitly stated amount of time.
@@umbreonic766 Yeah, it is undeniable that this season is not as well constructed as the first which is a real shame. If we could get an extended cut, it could be the greatest thing put to screen, but right now, it's sadly lacking in some aspects.
So, on a previous video, Necrit mentioned that there was some discordance in having Singed be Orianna's father, because Dr. Reveck was a famous clockmaker, while Singed was an alchemist. But then the meeting between Victor and Singed, the crazy events tied to Jayce, and that little gear Victor kept holding onto, made me wonder if maybe _Victor_ was the one who made Orianna's body for Singed. Basically, Victor has lots of background stuff tying him to clockwork mechanics (such as the toy boat when he was a child, or League lore that he created Blitzcrank), while Singed is focused on rebuilding life in new forms. While Orianna's creation was attributed to Dr. Reveck, I would be completely unsurprised if it was it was a combination effort in Arcane lore. Speaking of Blitzcrank, I wonder if the original line from the first season of Jayce and Victor figuring out how to make hextech work, where he said, "You have to _crank_ it!" is a sly allusion to that.
Viktor creating Orianna is definitely what they are going for, the question is if she'll be all clockwork like in her old lore or keep some humanity like in the current one. They could even go in a completely different direction and have Viktor fix her up with the arcane as a prototype for his glorious evolution.
the vi pit fighting sequence song was cocktail molotov. the song that was a different/potentially wrong version was paint that town blue, that opened episode 4
A really subtle detail (but might be massive) about the rolling cog victor drops. At the start of the episode when we see it, we see it start to circle around in one place after rolling for a bit, but it never falls. At the end of the episode we see it start on the same path, but when it gets place it previously went in circles, it instead falls over and wobbles in place. It has a very district difference. This could Imply that we saw two different time lines, and that something has changed.
I believe Singed's plan from the beginning was to get himself hired by Ambessa or Caitlyn in exchange for resources to continue his research to revive his daughter. This was necessary because he had lost Silco's backing for his research. His plan was to join the rally to get himself captured, then use Warwick to show Ambessa/Caitlyn what his chemtech could achieve. Warwick recognising Powder forced him to change his plans a little, possibly because it disrupted his control over Warwick/Vander.
couple things to contribute: 1 - the clock decoration by Ekko's mural looks exactly like his stopwatch from season 1 2 - one of the Jinxers in the prison release scene (on the right side of the group shot) is wearing an outfit very close to Jinx's base skin in League, minus ammo belts
Here we go! But first, arcane is such a gift for us LoL players. Also, having Necrit helps us to understand fully the lore of rune terra. Thank you Necrit! Hope one day u become part of the rune terra universe. We appreciate you a lot man!
I noticed that young powder does the same hand pose her mother did in the watercolor animation. And I saw when Jayce is about to shoot Victor I noticed other jacye’s around him.
Funnily enough, no one has seemed to point out that the goat scientist guy was actually in season 1. During Act 2 of season 1 before the attack on the zeppelin when Cassandra Kiramman was giving the people a speech about Jayce and Jayce leaves in the middle of it to go talk to Caitlyn. When the shot is on Cassandra and Jayce you can actually see the same goat scientist in the frame right behind them
I have a feeling that Riktus will become Urgot. Urgot was a Noxian soldier and it looked like that Warwick cut off his lower body and slammed his arm. I might be wrong, but it would fit. Even the eyes and his stare somehow fits. Urgot also uses a chemtech face mask and also Warwick slammed his nose. Also the weird face of they grey might indicate Zac. There are some details fitting
I was thinking the same thing. Warwick gutted Riktus and the most prominent part of Urgot that is mechanical is his lower body. And Ambessa just happens to have Singed on her side, the guy who made the first chemtech monstrosity
I seriously doubt it. Urgot was a Noxian executioner and was sent to Zaun to be "taken care of" by the Chem-Barons because Swain didn't want him around, and then he was imprisoned as slave labour. He then overcame the harsh life in the prison and willingly replaced parts of his body that he considered weak, and escaped by blowing up the prison. He's effectively a terrorist trying to overthrow Piltover because he thinks only the strong deserve to live. They have literally nothing in common other than both coming from Noxus. They also look nothing even remotely close to each other.
@@DrAwes0m0 You act like arcane completely change literally everything about characters to the point they are completely and utterly unrecognizable lmfao
One detail. While ambesa is training Caitlin she says some lines and one of them is (lava in your vanes) And at the finale Warwick literally is bleeding lava
0:32 HOLY SHIT, now that i recall that scene on season 1, jayce says "this corruption runs deep sheriff, i intend to root it out", WHAT A WAY TO FORESHADOW IT
I'm not sure they'll have proper closure, but rather some sort of direction toward us, the viewers, to reasonably speculate what comes of them (ie becoming Legends in Runeterra)
True we have SOOO many plot lines and sub stories to finish Mel - Blackrose (basically has zero development from act 1 and 2) Jinx, Vi, Isha, Cait (teaming up?) v Ambessa, Singed (Vander/WW?) Jayce, Viktor - Wild rune, arcane, void mumbo jumbo So basically 3 story lines that need to be wrapped up in 3 episodes, I have no idea how its possible since you would assume you need at least 2 preferably 3 episodes for each one of these plot lines. I hope they can pull it off though.
They don't have to wrap literally everything up. We're getting more animated series in the future, so for example the Black Rose things can continue in those.
0:45 "so incase that gets proven wrong... ignore that." Mate, we're League lore fans. Having to ignore stuff for the sake of lessening a headache is part of the job description🙏
The spinning arcane- corrupted gear that Viktor drops could also represent Piltover and Zain. A colorful, contaminated city And a uncorrupted, gilded façade
@@Gemini_7531 i think shes defenitely dead, maybe later in act 3 ekko rewinds time and saves her somehow , but for now shes def dead. Kinda sad that Vander as a person died fully also, so we all have is just Warwick
I think we're meant to infer a few details about how Jinx became the face of the rebellion. Besides the fact that she is the most wanted person in Zaun, her life's story is known to Zaunites. A daughter of Zaunite revolutionaries and a history of tragedy. This is why when Jinx releases the prisoners, she is met with compassion and gratitude. They were showing their appreciation for her showing up while offering their condolences for her losses. She is revered among Zaunites because she is a Zaunite whose struggles and hardships have been directly connected to the development of Zaun. Although her actions under Silco's rule had consequences on the people of Zaun, she never directly hurt Zaunite civilians (save for a Firelight or two). Her casualties were only ever in Piltover or among the Chem Baron gangs. Attacking the council was reprehensible, and the event that led to martial law, but Piltover has been oppressing Zaunites for generations, and Jinx had been the only person to have ever done anything substantial enough to hurt them back.
The blue hair is probably because that was the main way to identify her. When jinx breaks into the prison she encounters an enforcer that didn't even know who she was, and that's probably true for a lot of other enforcers.
The bunny ears reference Pow-pow, Jinx`s minigun and how Isha and Warwick bring out the remnants of Powder`s innocence in Jinx`s scattered, insane mind.
1:31:57 Lil sidefact The colors used here by the spray cans, again reference vi and powder’s haircolors In other words, how isha to jinx is like how powder to vi was (I do not think this last sentence is english, but i hope u get the point) Ps: not even 2 hours…
Did you notice that "coin" is the same one they use in season 1 when the hextech works for the first time, the one it teleported from jayce side to Viktor side when they were in the air
Did no one notice in the scene with Mel and Kino, where Kino talks about Ambessa’s affair that there is a water drop at the beginning of the scene that falls, but it reverses right before Kino teleports, and then falls again when Kino’s reflection disappears?!! What does it mean!!??
Something that hit hard was that when Isha was running towards Warwick at the end, she smiled and her eyes teared up while she was reminiscing moments with Jinx. All these cherished moments that drove her to this immense sacrifice, and it's so powerful. And then the "poow" gesture, of course. 😭
One very cool thing about Warwick going to still water. If you watch the old Warwick cinematic, it shows him hunting people and ends with him jumping to the cable car. So with minor changes, it is basically a scene that you could slot directly into this episode of Arcane.
extra little detail: the coin/gear that rolls after viktor gets shot parallels the scene when they first harnessed hextech, with a similar little gear floating around and through the magnetic field
I was rewatching season 1 and caught that the scientist who Ambessa recruited actually appeared in the episode where Cait’s mom is bragging about Jayce as the young protege. He was standing next to him the entire time taking notes. This show man I swear 👏👏👏
Wait a minute. At 3:54, Isha's face is painted like Jinx's monkey-the same monkey Jinx used in Season 1 that blew up with three Hextech gems inside. Just like the three gems Isha loads into Jinx's gun before firing... Nothing bad will happen, right?
One interesting thing about Vi slapping Isha is how it’s a reminder of how she slapped Powder in season 1. I feel like that makes things WAY more tense, especially when Jinx sees Isha as an old version of herself.
29:53 there was a Starwars reference when this dude bit off the head of a Bug an spit it against a gong, just like jabba the hutt did in Episode one to start the Podracing
I saw someone say the bunny ears were referencing a leaque character, but I also think it could be referring back to Vi's favorite bunny, and how even with everything that had went down, Jinx had kept it as almost a reminder of Vi. With Isha being willing to put herself in danger and with how brave she is, the ears could symbolize that Isha reminds Jinx a little bit of Vi. Vi had been willing to sacrifice herself to save Vander and keep the others safe, just like how Isha had been willing to sacrifice herself to take out Vander to keep everyone from being hurt or killed. I also noticed that when in the scene with the Jinx poster and Caitlyn, theres a scene where the magnifying glass makes half Cait's face be Jinx's, which i took as a show of how Cait had been almost loosing herself in a way to hatred and perhaps even guilt after her mother died because she hadn't shot Jinx when she had the chance.
Omg I noticed if you look at the pin on Viktors robes, the symbol for his new society looks A LOT like the heads/faces that Jayce keeps seeing after he comes back from wherever he was.
It was confirmed that silco braided jinx's hair until she grew up old enough to learn it herself. So young silco having jinx's hairstyle, makes it so much better because that should be the inly hairstyle he would personally know at the time.
Also another interesting thing is that in the beginning part of episode 6 when you see the coin, Viktor says "I see it now" followed by a black screen and then the episode starts, and in the ending part of episode 6 with Viktor monologuing, he says "I understand it now," which could imply a parallel universe thing where the two scenes are similar but not the exact same. I saw another comment mention that the coin spins a different number if times before following in both if the sequences which support the theory
I really hoped Necrit would mention this .... but why on earth are some character's irises (specifically the border between the white and colored part of their eyes) not circular and smooth like most characters but instead specifically angular resembling more of a decagon or dodecagon. I can't be the only person to have noticed this. Most characters eyes (in season 2) are rounded, as they should be, like all characters in season 1, but in season 2 some characters in some scenes have angular edges to their eye boundaries. This could easily be explained by a smaller production budget, except we all know that's not the case. So it MUST be a design choice and I really want to know why. Anyone else notice?
34:31 I think Singed already knew about Ambessa/Noxians in Piltover looking for power. By leading Warwick there he could "prove" his usefulness and demand whatever resources he needed to help with his daughter.
1:05:00 Hextech being connected to rune magic, I feel, is all but implied. Jayce's interest in magic started after he was saved by a figure - presumed Ryze - who used runes to teleport him and his mother to safety. The runes he used for hextech was modelled after these runes. He himself speaks to Echo about runes as language. Heimerdinger, upon seeing the core for the first time, has flashbacks to a terrible time - the rune wars perhaps? I don't think hextech is connected to the runewars itself... but to the same type of magic these wars were fought over.
I’ve had this theory since Season 1: Jayce and his mother were lost in the snowstorm because his mother was searching for Ornn or Hearth-Home. His family's ancient devotion to the god of craftsmanship is symbolized by the hammer in their sigil, which mirrors Ornn's favorite tool. Now that it seems hextech will have some connection to the Void and Jayce will likely combat it, I suspect Ornn and Jayce might eventually team up. This would make sense, given Ornn's past confrontations with the Void (look the bridge from Howling Abyss, for example).
Thank you so much for your deep analysis! It really helped me see moments that slipped my attention despite having already watched the episodes three times. And thank you so much for the time you put into making this long video!!!!
8:32 Weird that she has that stuff because she threw all of into the water in episode 1 of season 1. It means she probably recovered it during the timeskip after episode 3. This could mean she told silco about the bag and he got it for her. Not really important to the story but kind of an interesting thing that could play into silco's character in season 1.
Not 2 hours. I’m disappointed
Smh
1000% 😂😂😂
Same D:
That's what she said
who do you think youre watching? TBSkyen?
The helmet Isha wore is a standard mining helmet as seen in Vander’s flashback both him and Silco also Jinx’s parents wore the same helmets which mean two things
1-Isha was forced to work in the mines and escaped hence she was getting chase by Chross’s goons.

@@yargolocus4853 Nah, you're not out of touch, but it's true that there's many faces to this
In one side, people when sort of "figuring things" out with someone may feel betrayed if the other side does these things with someone else, it's human sentiment, and it can happen, even if not officially dating it may just feels like a kick in the gut because you don't feel that special anymore, even if Vi may not feel like this, it's just public interpretation that's just based on their morals.
So it's just a jumble of opinions on the matter
(Edit on something I thought: Vi would most likely still give a nice punch to Maddie, or at least, it feels like it to me, idk, they were coworkers after all.)
That's what I was thinking as well. It was basically a weapons demo.

i mean the point of caitlyn sleeping with someone is that she's increasingly isolated and lonely without vi. She is repeatedly showed taking actions that dont align with her values, doing stuff just to fill voids, frustrated, etc
so that later when she meets vi again, she's on such a boiling point that she jumps at a chance for setting things right

also echoes mel saying earlier that caitlyn is good at hiding/compartmentalizing her emotions, vs vi who literally cries n drinks nonstop, punching her emotions out in the ring
@@duhneez2068 exactly… Caitlyn is toootally over Vi, because if she wasn’t completely moved on then why would she be dating someone new, hm? She’s putting the cart before the horse, expecting to ride off into the sunset with a new date and she’ll just feel better later somehow
Completely over her, suuure… more like completely head over heels for her!
This might show that Mel might have healing/protective powers
Also, League of Legends is probably due for another Support hero, they might turn Mel into one

@@julio1148 It's a common writing technique called "misdirect".
Cait used the net launcher and when the Squad was attacking their lairs, most of the goons just seemed beat up, not killed.

the point of caitlyn sleeping with maddie is the same as vi drinking herself to a pulp - drowning their sorrows, trying to feel the emptiness, distracting themselves - both of them use unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with how they're feeling
Bravo!
Nope, you need to actually analyze and think about the logistics of character journeys. Season 2 is so far worsly written than season 1
Season one is far better compared to season 2. Season 2 act 2 is the worst out of all arcs.
No
@doomwalker977 I think it was enjoyable but that isn't enough to make a perfect show
I am pretty sure they started dyeing their hair blue because of what jinx did in act 1. She redirected parts of the ventilation system for the grey and made it colorful, and exploded it in the upper city. You can see it when they painted her mural with the colorful explosions. 🎉
Yeah that's what I figured. Also explains the Janna thematic connection. Jinx flushed out the grey and gave them clean air.
45:06 This was foreshadowed by how easily she solved the complex puzzle box at the beginning of series 1.
at 25:20 you can see a woman on the right a little bit in the back that wears Jinx's OG clothes from League, she even has the bullet necklace.
I am really surprised that he did not mention this. Its such an obvious detail
My friends laugh their arse off when they noticed it. Good spot.
@@snorr656 Like Necrit says in the beginning, it's almost impossible to find every detail. But that's where we come in I guess.
1 1/2 hour video I’m not surprised at all
59:41 they weren’t Warwick, Vi, & Jynx in this scene.

That event for the people of Zaun was symbolic, we can see some reaction of zaunite children in episode 3 after the colored gas scene
It's true, it's quick and it should have more screentime and explanation, but all of the clues are here
It's also a mural in ep 5 when they are going into the tunnels to find Warwick. It shows Jinx and Vander with the clouds in act I behind Jinx.
yeah, but the blue hair thing is still probably from the wanted posters, I doubt most of the people in Zaun have actually seen Jinx in person
The magnifying glass is the scope, and the eyes would line up the way they would when seen through a scope with Cait’s right eye being in a straight line with Jinx’ left one (assuming Cait’s dominant eye is the right one and she shoots with the right hand as trigger hand)
Edit: something else that’s kinda funny and shows a love for details, the lines all ending in Jinx’ eye mean two things both are connected with focus which means both the point where all light rays connect (further emphasising that the focus point of the investigation is to capture Jinx and not to make Zaun obedient) as well as Cait personally taking the shot because the focus of a scope is the point where the crosshairs lines intersect, while also indicating that at this point Caitlyn considers it a hunt where one of the two dies, since the scope analogy works the other way around as well, meaning either Cait kills Jinx or Jinx kills her.
Her reaction to this new info is confusion and denial, as if Mel couldn’t see her ever falling in love with someone and conceiving (hinting she probably doesn’t think Ambessa even cared for Mel’s father)
Idk, thought it was a cool reference that may possibly tie into a Noxus show in development
12:25 this scene is so much cooler cause she walks over the the fire and starts stoking it as she is manipulating caitlyn and stoking the fires of conflict
idk if it's been said yet, but Viktor seeing Skye might not just be his imagination/conscience, but that Skye is part of him now because he literally absorbed her (not saying she is independent/sentient either but just her soul)
(and maybe the arcane had a part in making her 'come out'?)
HELL YEAH THANK YOU NECRIT
I believe the scene on the bridge is implying that it was specifically Silco who brought the Molotov Cocktail to the bridge turning a protest into a riot by immolating an enforcer. This would mean that Silco is directly responsible for the deaths at the bridge including Jinx and Vi's parents. This would also explain Vanders rage.
what scene, friend?

Jayce's clothes and accessories have some patterns from Viktor's in game design btw.
Warwick recognising Powder forced him to change his plans a little, possibly because it disrupted his control over Warwick/Vander.
couple things to contribute:
1 - the clock decoration by Ekko's mural looks exactly like his stopwatch from season 1
2 - one of the Jinxers in the prison release scene (on the right side of the group shot) is wearing an outfit very close to Jinx's base skin in League, minus ammo belts

Also at the checkpoint you can use Isha’s of drawing the monkey bomb on the wall, and in jinx’s base on the floor you can see her practice drawings
They also look nothing even remotely close to each other.
their characters are extremely different and there is not really enough time to introduce a whole new champ so I kinda doubt it

Honestly, I just don't understand how they will wrap all of these plot lines up in just 3 episodes.
yeah Idk either, hope it will not be disapointing / too short
I'm not sure they'll have proper closure, but rather some sort of direction toward us, the viewers, to reasonably speculate what comes of them (ie becoming Legends in Runeterra)
True we have SOOO many plot lines and sub stories to finish
Mel - Blackrose (basically has zero development from act 1 and 2)
Jinx, Vi, Isha, Cait (teaming up?) v Ambessa, Singed (Vander/WW?)
Jayce, Viktor - Wild rune, arcane, void mumbo jumbo
So basically 3 story lines that need to be wrapped up in 3 episodes, I have no idea how its possible since you would assume you need at least 2 preferably 3 episodes for each one of these plot lines. I hope they can pull it off though.
They don't have to wrap literally everything up. We're getting more animated series in the future, so for example the Black Rose things can continue in those.

In other words, how isha to jinx is like how powder to vi was
(I do not think this last sentence is english, but i hope u get the point)
Ps: not even 2 hours…
Did you notice that "coin" is the same one they use in season 1 when the hextech works for the first time, the one it teleported from jayce side to Viktor side when they were in the air
When i saw Victor's camp i thought the architecture was icathian so wild runes must be voidborn
Did no one notice in the scene with Mel and Kino, where Kino talks about Ambessa’s affair that there is a water drop at the beginning of the scene that falls, but it reverses right before Kino teleports, and then falls again when Kino’s reflection disappears?!! What does it mean!!??
ilussion maybe xd
3:38 I'd also like to think the centering of the strings pinned on her right eye is a reference to Silco... I miss him
I was rewatching season 1 and caught that the scientist who Ambessa recruited actually appeared in the episode where Cait’s mom is bragging about Jayce as the young protege.
15:27 cait's hairstyle and collar is exactly like Leblanc
🐌OH. SHIT.
29:53 there was a Starwars reference when this dude bit off the head of a Bug an spit it against a gong, just like jabba the hutt did in Episode one to start the Podracing
I've been waiting for this video more than ACT 3 Arcane lmao
I waited for your vid as much as I wait for Arcane acts. Your content is awesome, you’ve positioned yourself as the top Arcane commenter, congrats!
Been refreshing waiting for this, life is worth living again
It was confirmed that silco braided jinx's hair until she grew up old enough to learn it herself. So young silco having jinx's hairstyle, makes it so much better because that should be the inly hairstyle he would personally know at the time.
Oh cool the other half of act 2 is here. The first gave me so much whiplash so it's nice to see it broken down.
Ahh, so after s1ep3 jinx went to the docks and retrieved the bag she droped, cool
Sevika said rally tonight but the scene is daylight during the rally
I’ve had this theory since Season 1: Jayce and his mother were lost in the snowstorm because his mother was searching for Ornn or Hearth-Home. His family's ancient devotion to the god of craftsmanship is symbolized by the hammer in their sigil, which mirrors Ornn's favorite tool. Now that it seems hextech will have some connection to the Void and Jayce will likely combat it, I suspect Ornn and Jayce might eventually team up. This would make sense, given Ornn's past confrontations with the Void (look the bridge from Howling Abyss, for example).
I love Disney land
6:07 I think the bunny ears on Isha are referencing Vi's old stuffed bunny
Loved the ending of the video!
It brought back the old Necrit lore video vibe!
28:06 I saw this and immediately got sad😢 I liked that guy😭
Thank you so much for your deep analysis! It really helped me see moments that slipped my attention despite having already watched the episodes three times. And thank you so much for the time you put into making this long video!!!!
Viktor was transferring his essence maybe through those line thingies
i noticed when Jinx was being thanked by her followers in the prison, one of the members is wearing her main League skin
The details in Arcane are insane! The creators are literally cinemic geniuses
