Sugar is actually vegan in Europe. I can't speak for the Asian products but the European products such as the Lindt chocolate are vegan. Sugar is actually vegan most of the time. Using animals bones in order to bleach sugar is an old method and it's not common anymore most of the time. The chances of having vegan sugar are much higher. At least in Europe it is. The Natural chips you have shown are also vegan. A lot of products that you said aren't vegan actually are vegan.
