This, and "Faster" are among my favorite WT songs ever. Sharon can sing! And so can Tarja. And the MV is beautiful, the ending always gets me. Life returns, the vegetation starts to grow back, you hear birds, and Sharon and Tarja are standing in the forest, looking as beautiful as nature itself.

I had a feeling you'd enjoy this! It's one of my favorite songs of all time! Sharon is amazing and her voice is so beautiful and unique. Tarja's talent goes without saying. BTW, Floor is a huge Sharon fan, which I think is very cool. Then again, Sharon and Tarja are both fans of Floor (but who isn't)! Another cool fact, Sharon and Tarja met for the first time (in person) on the morning of this video shoot. There's a "making of" video about this video where they talk about it.
This song is more relevant now than ever. I love the start of the the second verse, "You and us, or I and them, there comes a time to take a stand." It was inspired by a speech by a retired Dutch general, Peter van Uhm. His point was the only way to make a better world is to stop thinking of "yourself" and "them" but as "us". Pretty profound stuff!
Incredible song and epic video. Will look that making of up. They put a lot of work into this one.

Fan since the late 90s, discovered them more or less at the same time than Nightwish .. i think in 1998.
Within Temptation is maybe the symphonic metal band that makes the best music vidoes (imho). So even if people mostly prefer to watch live videos, its also always worth to watch their MVs.
Some very good one for me are : "Frozen", "And we run ft. XZibit", "Angels", "Memories"
For live the whole "Black Symphony" concert is just great.
