dude this is exactly what I was looking for - if you're growing your beard for the first time and not sure how exactly to grow it/how to trim it down to grow - THIS IS THE VIDEO
I'm in the same boat. Finally a useful vid!
That burp showed me this is the guy I need to listen too lol
had the opposite effect for me.
It showed me he had zero respect for the viewer. I return the compliment..
Simon Peters omg go away 😂😂😂
Joshua Dickenson what an interesting contribution! Not.
Simon Peters and you think your comment contributed something? Lmfao if you don’t like the video leave.
Growing my first long beard, at a long medium at the moment. Long overdue for my first trim but wasn't sure where to start. Thankfully I didn't screw it up thanks to this video. Much appreciated!
I just wanted to say thank you for making such a great video, this was the first time I've had a chance to trim mine. I usually grow a small beard during winter, but I've kept mine a lot longer this year. Glad I found yours, you gave me confidence to trim mine. It came out AWESOME, thanx again...
Watched this video last night and decided to try it on my own beard and am amazed at how much better it looks thanks so much
I was scared shitless while trying this for half an hour, but I did it!!! It's not perfect, but it's so much better now! Thank you so much! You really helped me a great deal! Thank you, man!
Answered all my questions. Your tips are appreciated. Ordered the Brios because that’s just what I was looking for from a bearded man’s perspective. Thanks
At 34 years I’m finally able to grow a thick beard! So far it’s only been 3 of growth but I’m digging the look. Just want to say I appreciate these grooming tips for the beards! Subscribed 👍
Hey man, I just bought the Brio beardscape thanks to your recommendation. I got to tell you, you weren't kidding about how badass this thing really is. I love it. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be watching for more recommendations.
Hey man thanks for doing all that you for us clueless bearded guys out here. I have to admit I'm one of those clueless dudes. I have a bushy beard but it was wild. I watched this video and man what a difference thank you. I took it down some, not much but man my beard looks way better. Please keep doing what your doing. Thank you once again.
As a 38 year old man thats only just now growing out his beard, THANK YOU! This helped so much!
Thanks man! I tried it, it was easy, turned out nice, and I got two compliments at work!
Finally grew a pair and decided to try trimming my beard exactly how you said, and it turned out great! Keep up the awesome videos bro!
I always watch this before trimming my beard and it looks amazing. I also watch how to trim the bottom!!!
Good struff beardtube!
Your beard is freaking godlike. Epic as hell!!!!
Just trimmed it using this video. First time. Helped a lot thanks!
I was gonna turn this video off....but then he let out a belch...and I thought...yes...this is the beard trimming tutorial for me!
This guy is my spirit animal
😂😂😂
So none of the advice he was giving sunk into your head until he burped ?
Sorry, the belch caused me to stop watching.
@@Shellross65 Can't relate
Thank u sooooo much! After seeing your other videos and this video this has helped me be more comfortable trimming my beard and making it look so much better. Also bought pretty much everything u use. Love your beard.
This is a great video if you’re just starting out to grow a beard and trim it. Thank you much man. I am just starting to grow out my beard.
I just took your technique and could have not went better. Thanks for the tip!
Good video man helped a lot i look forward to watching more I always have had a hard time getting that shape after watching this I now understand what I was doing wrong. Thanks
Dude amazing demonstration of the beard trim. This was the exact video I was looking for. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial. The straight motion is where I was going wrong...
Guys, the belching allows for proper cadence when you are using the trimmer.. . All part of the technique! Seriously, great video man...
This seems like such a simple duh thing but as someone getting out of the Navy and being able to grow a beard but no clue how to maintain, this was awesome. Thanks man!
Man I had gotten out of the Air Force and going through the same thing. Was in before I could grow a beard and didn’t leave until almost 30. Have a Viking beard now that I don’t know what to do with
Thanks for the help, my bearded friend. Much needed and appreciated!
Dude, thank you for recommending the beardscape trimmers! I’ve been trimming my own beard for 13 or so years and have used many trimmers and these blow everything I’ve ever used out the water! Enjoy the videos too btw
I been doing mine for 24 years a lot of mistakes made me shave it all off or down to a goatee
This is the better explanation of how to do this. I can't find anyone else who explains how to correctly do a short side long front
I started my beard again, and it needs trimmed. Thank you so much for these videos.
My yearbeard is in December. I get your video and thanks for all your other videos
First time watching any if your videos. Thanks man definitely helpful! Just getting mine going n don't want it too long but this answered my questions for sure!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge your beard looks amazing
Great tutorial. Thanks.
I’m new to the beard world… Been growing for about six months and I love it! What do you about trimming for length? Do you have any tips?
Awesome video Scuba! 💯
Just started growing my beard only 1 1/2 months in. Really like the shape of ur beard! Keep up the good work!
Nicholas Cates lol I'm at the same stage as you 1 month 3 weeks here.. it's getting some length no where near scubas lol but noticing the difference and I have great coverage! Let it grow let flow brother
Excellent video tutorial, the Brio trimmer looks sweet
EXACTLY what I needed!! Thanks!
Really helpful stuff man, great video as usual. Subbed
Phenomenal advice super solid video but I straight up followed you just for that belch bro that was hilarious
Amazing, going to try these tips tonight.
This showed exactly what I wanted. I don't have a bear trimmer yet, I'm using my normal clippers (almost) everytime I buzz my head. So, The "Bare" trimming shouldn't be an issue as I've had some practice. I don't want that flared out round look, I want the same style as you. I have a round face as well so it's nice to learn/know tricks to compliment my look. Appreciate your videos buddy, I plan on getting one or 6 of your shirts as well haha!. I used to have a goatee and tried a full a couple times, This time I'm serious about a full. I'm about 5-6 months in and it's awesome because a few of my coworkers are mad that they can't grow one. I just tell them not to worry because their balls will drop one day. 😂
Thanks for the video and the product recommendations
Looking forward to growing a beard like yours!
Great video. I was starting to look like Martin Van Buren, but with a full beard.
I want my chin beard to grow terminal, but the side stuff makes me look homeless. I straight shave my neck as well. It looks great now because of this video and my wife tolerates it a little more. Beards have the added bonus of covering second chins, don’t ask how I know.
What do you do about the curls below your jaw? Cut them out or just deal with them?
Your videos are great! My beard definitely needs a trim, but I’m nowhere near your skill set. I will be picking up some of these great products that you mentioned! I also subscribed! Love your look! 💯
Excellent tutorial
been doing mine that way since the other video great tip man.
Im going to try the trimmers but i know for sure id screw up my beard so ill use it for my mustache. I want mine to grow long so i can't trim it until it gets pretty close to the length i want. The sultan of silver says " let it grow and let it flow" I like what im learning, im looking and looking to learn all i can about beards. Thanks for the videos.
helpful during the lockdown in UK...I can't wait another 2 months for barbers to open :D THANKS!
Good tutorial.... I’ve been struggling with keeping it trimmed neat and tight without losing the fullness/body.
Thanks for explaining this so I can trim my Hubbys beard for him 🤘🤘
Another great video what do you think of beard booze beard wash ?
Great video, very helpful! Another lockdown here in the Netherlands with the barbers closed. Well, let's just hope I won't screw up my beard.
Great video. Thanks!
Another shout out to Bossman! Yes! The Fortify Conditioner is legit. The Beard Jelly is simply amazing.
Dude, I love your videos.
Great vid sir, thanks for the help. I think if you wore a white crew neck t-shirt it would help to contrast against the dark beard to see the trimming really stand out. But again, the vid was very awesome and helpful. Thank you.
I feel like dapper dan now, thank you!
Great video as always Scuba
Great video! Just what my beard needs 👍
Thanks. A real helpful tutorial.
I was looking for a beard trimmer for my honey for his birthday. I came upon your video and have made my choice. Also the products you use as well. I had to laugh when you belched out like that, because I have come to learn over my 60 years that that is just what boys do. I thank you for the tips and will be getting the shaver and give a beard trim to my man. Thanks
Perfect, thank you so much brother
“Buuurrrrp”
Me: ‘like’, keeps watching 😄👍🏻😎
Very helpful! Keep up the good work. 👍
Love the videos bro best beard right there genuine bearded guy 👌
Thanks for the advice!
New subscriber, holy **** I love your channel man!!!
Thanks man good job! Subscribed
Most of the stuff I’ve learned and a lot of products I get is from watching your vids and beardbrand so thanks for that. I’m just wondering what trimming you do on the bottom front and bottom side edges? I have a hard time getting rid of the chisel line. Yours looks more natural
This was awesome, thanks man!
Cheers for the Video Scuba. To be honest the thought of me putting a shaver next to my beard scares the Sh*t out of me mate as I've only had it for 5 months. Am gonna let the experienced Barber do it for me this time but next time will be using this video as my guide. Thank you for you help and Stay Bearded Brother.
Thanks for elaborating. Now, if you were trying to trim your beard into more of a point at the bottom how would you do that?
Nice tutorial.
Rockin' the belch. I love it.
Great video brother!
Thank you sir helped out a lot
Awesome video, Awesome Beard. In your earlier video, you said to use regular clippers and not beard trimmers because the teeth were too small. In this video its the Beardscape you recommend. This vid is about a year later. Do you recommend the Beardscape over the Clippers? My beard is almost identical to yours.
Loved it man.. Thanks
Thanks for making this.
Thanks
Very helpful
Thank you so much for this video. I have a wedding in a couple hours and I looked like I've been living in the woods for a while. 💪✌🍻
Very nice, thanks for the video
Great video. Just what I've been waiting for.
Just a quick question.
If you have the side short but long buttom, isn't beard oil enough to use?. Or do you also use beard balm?.
Because balm is like a wax ish thing to control your beard with. But of you shorten the sides, there's nothing to control. Or?.
Great job. I did it on my beard and it turned out great.
Not sure if someone asked before, but I might have belched and missed the comment...I've got what you've shown in the vid before I watched, my problem comes at the "coning" point at the base of the beard...can never taper it right in the long haul...always looks right when I do it, but slightly lopsided a few days after. It may come down to grooming it right after the trim, but if you have any suggestions, I'd love the input! Also, thanks for using metric vs imperial, so much easier as a (assumed) fellow Canadian
I just did this and look a million times better!
Great vid!
i love your beard so much ❤❤❤❤
Finally, a real man.
What are the best trimmers to purchase for beard trimming?
Thank you for showing us how to make twin burps.
Great video, it really helped. The sides of my face were mental, everyone said I looked like a caveman. Chucked a 9mm on there and it's really tidy now, it also made it look longer ;)
Duuude Scuba this is EXACTLY what I needed!! I'm actually due for a trim so you had perfect timing with this video. Now I'll be even more confident using the Brios you sent me from your giveaway when you hit 20,000 subscribers. Thanks again for that by the way, the Brios truly are the sh*t, hands down the best trimmers I've ever used. Great content as always, keep it up.
YOU THE MAN SCUBA! STAY BEARDED.
BUUURRRRP
Great tips, just got the Brio today. Wondering do you have the Brio on any specific setting or just turn it on and go?
Hey man, I don't know if you read these comments, but this was a great video. Love the burps, makes it feel more realistic, like it's not some corporate bullshit LOL. Thanks a lot!
Great video, huge request from you! Would you be able to convince one of your friends with coarse hair to let you do this for them? The one rapper guy with the red beard would be great. I'm a black guy so my beard hair on my cheek is a little more poofier by nature, it's never going to lay down flat like yours. Would love to see how you would trim the sides on one of those.
Hey there, thank you for the channel. Such a huge help dude. So IDK if you want to help, but I have a Q and would appreciate any advice you feel like offering.
Lately, when I shave my head with a zero I've been trying to fade into my beard a lot lower down my face instead of by my sideburns but still keep the 1"-1.5" beard length that I think looks decent on me. I also leave the stache longer too. So my Q is, do you have any other tios or tutorials that might help me W this style trim? Thank you very much
