If this game ever gets a remaster they should keep the soundtrack, the music for this game was ahead of its time and one of the best orchestral scores I've listened to in a video game
'Ahead of its time' is total hyperbole. The soundtrack just emulates action movie soundtracks. There have been many games preceding this game with orchestral-mixed soundtracks, which this is by the way. It's not purely orchestral but a mix.
When i was younger (im 27 now) i had syphon filter 1-3. I barely finished the first one, got to the second disc on the 2nd one, but at that time my memory card was lost, so when switching discs it corrupted and i lost the whole file.. i quickly started syphon filter 3 annoyed i didnt want to play through the 2nd game again lol. i never fully got passed the first mission on the 3rd game, i was also only 4-5 1/2 years old when these games were released and when i played them lol. Im so upset to learn that there were 3 other games released on the ps2 that continued the story…. if i had known that i wouldve had them 😭. But now knowing that they were released and i dont have a way to play them anymore, the only possibility of a play through is by watching these gameplay videos. Im just happy theres no unnecessary commentary that some people do on these videos, like why are you talking over the cut scenes 😭😭

Mazyr, Belarus Krivorozhstal Mill ... that was the HARDEST one to get par time while online. It was the only map that kept me from getting 100% on the game back in the day.

Just guessing based on the title, I’m assuming this is a strain that has potential of 100% mortality rate. Think The Flood, except you’re 100% dead. No reanimation.
I wish they would add this to the PlayStation network when they added the original 3 I was stoked that this one would be next but we have only gotten dark mirror and Logan's shadow
@@samtimmerman7246 yeah I found them impossible to navigate personally, I only really used a psp to play star wars battlefront squadrons actually somewhat decent 🤣 I really liked omega strain just wished it had continued with that plot line just not killing off Mara Amarov and Elsa in a bonus mission, I'd rather it be one or the other tbh.

This game was INSANELY difficult on first playthrough.
It was meant to be played in multiplayer because of the endless waves of enemies
The only mission that ever gave me trouble was the Oil Rig. Other than that I just tased enemies until they fried
When I was really young I loved and hated this game, dark mirror was by far my favorite though
