Incredible video, Jason. There are lots of great automotive cleaning and detailing products, and some not so much. Like anything else, it all depends on user preference, but yes, some are better than others. The Hawai'i based Sud Factory cleaning products may be the very best taking off water sports and such. You always to a great job cleaning and detailing your rides. I wished you lived here so I could pay you to do mine, and help with installs when I get my new ride. I wish I had at least a enclosed two car + work space to wash/detail and do stuff.
Blue looks incredible, probably the nicest customized and modded, and maybe most popular 11th Generation Civic out there. The Sport trim is the best of both worlds, you can save lots of money over the Touring/Sport Touring to use on OEM and aftermarket accessories and add ons.
I would not mod and customize my ride as much as you, but would get lots of the parts and products you have, that would also fit the Sport Hatchback I wanted, and maybe now the HR-V Sport, that shared lots of Civic stuff. I wonder if the PRL strut tower brace and High Volume I take would fit, as well as some other items.
Under the hood, you should get some of those anodized aluminum caps and dress up parts. I forgot who sells them, but there may be more than one. I remember first seeing them for the 29th Gen Civics. I am curious to see how well the K-Tuner mod will do for this engine if if they can tweak it for the HR-V Sport with the recalibrations Honda has done to it.
I remember seeing the Zero Gravity batter that is expensive but looks good. I used to like and use the Optima batteries, but I heard quality and reliability went down. It's under Johnson Controls, who owns the company that makes Sears Diehard and other brands of automotive batteries. I believe if you just use a good brand reliable battery with the highest capacity for your battery size, put the anti corosion spray and washers on the terminals and the usual preventive care like secure mounting to prevent excess vibration, and debris that may have metallic particles that can degrade the charge over time, you're good to go. In Hawai'i, we have a long time great battery specialty shop with I believe 3 locations that died great work and sells all kinds of batteries and related products, not just car batteries, called Battery Bill's.
Those Coverado Seat covers and Lasfit mats and other products are great. Even the affordable interior and other add on accessories are great, like the screen protector for the infotainment display and dress up and protective pieces. Some are nice, but overkill unless you have a showcase car like yours.
I still gotta come up with my list of preferred OEM and other accessories and gear for EDC and emergency use, good to have stuff, not only for the vehicle, but it's passengers. That would be a good video or series of videos practical for all vehicles and viewers, whatever is suitable for them.
Good aftermarket wheels are nice, but I like lots of the OEM Sport Trim wheels of most vehicles I like, especially the Hondas and Toyotas I would get.
In the trunk I would get the rear seat back protectors like I would for the Civic Hatchback and HR-V.
I was glad to hear that the OEM sound system on the HR-V Sport was said to sound pretty good, but I can always upgrade the speaker, anps, subwoofer and add a dsp processor, most likely from Rockford Fosgate, but I like several other brands.
A nice exhaust system would be great. The Civic/HR-V exhaust is simple, with even a muffler delete bring a budget option without making enough noise to violate most vehicles equipment code regulations. But I always liked Flowmaster, Borla and some other brands, especially if well made and stainless steel. But if I got the new Type R, I would not touch that.
I always enjoy your videos, and Blue, especially since I like the color.
I wish the HR-V Sport was available in Aegean Blue Metallic or Boost Blue Pearl. But the Urban Great Pearl is nice, and would be my choice. The black door handle and roof antenna caps are a consideration. Legal window tint a must.
If I got a second vehicle, it most definitely be a Boost Blue Pearl Civic Sport Hatchback or Camry SE, maybe the blue NightShade Edition, but if I could spend up to $40K, I would opt for that Apex Blue Pearl Acura Integra A-Spec Technology Package, and even consider the 6 Speed manual for that. The Sinus nice, but overkill for me, but the Integra is more suitable for me, especially that ELS stereo I really want.
But these cars are all awesome, and great they have OEN and factory accessories to customize band modify them to your budget and heart's content.
Blue has gone through many a metamorphosis, but it hasn't look better. Carbon fiber parts look great, but sometimes they can visually detract from the total cohesive visual appeal, like the fenders did, not repainted.
Those mods I mentioned would be good. Otherwise, Blue is near perfect. I definite like it, but the Hatchback was my preference until the HR-V came out. But I love what you have done with Blue.

@@717PROJECT What would be cool if the K Tuner works well, HR-V Sport with that and the PRL strut tower brace, intake and the more moderate Eibach springs.
And a Honda Civic Sport Hatchback with the S2000 engine, 6 Speed manual and the other above mentioned mods.
      * If I happen to get both eventually, I would get the Manual for the Civic Hatchback. Maybe the K Tuner for at least the Civic. Maybe the other three for both but the handling may be satisfactory for both to me without the lowered springs.

Any plans for performance mods? Ive seen a video of the SI getting a +25WHP from swapping the intercooler ( PRL brand ), much cooler temps and larger openings/more flow. Do you plan to touch any of that kinda stuff to get the most out of the system? Or nah because you have a type-r so its kinda redundant to make it faster, when you already own something thats faster?
    Keep up the good vids!

*Blue is a Sport Sedan with the N/A 2.0L engine. He has tried some exhaust mods, but fitment and street legal status negated those. He is looking into exhaust system mods, but the system bus simple. Just need to find a well made one with a good muffler. People have done a budget muffler delete that sounds nice without getting in trouble with the law. It sounds nice, like done aftermarket mufflers.
He is also going to be checking out the K-Tuner mod for this engine, which is said to raise horsepower and torque up to the non Si 1.5L turbo engine when you need it. His PRL high volume intake he recently installed is well made and works great.
The biggest complaint for the N/A 2.0L engine is power, but I would rather have that over the 1.5L turbo, and am glad the new HR-V Sport had it. The K-Tuner mod may be great for that, or the Civic Sport Hatchback I previously wanted to get. I would only get that turbo engine if I could/would get the new Acura Integra A-Spec Technology Package as a second car.
The other big complaint about the Civic is the dreaded and hated auto start/stop that he probably has the best aftermarket unit to disable that, which he mentioned in this vehicle. I am thrilled that the HR-V Sport does not even have that.

@jjacob25101 Ahhhh true, I always forget some states have strict regulations. Here in Michigan its pretty wide open thankfully, you'll see people short-pipe and be loud as F. Or trucks "rolling coal" making long lingering black smokescreens lol.
I ended up with the 2022 civic hatchback in sport-touring, 1.5L CVT. So I've definitely been eyeing intercooler / exhaust mods, though I'm likely only going to do the main run ( Remark potentially ) and not touch the front/down pipe, for the sakes of "I wouldn't mind louder, but I dont want to be THAT loud". Already have the PRL intake box and some other minor things, from watching this channel & a couple others.
K-Tuner is definitely on my todo list, the last thing to do, as ill be doing a street-tune over emails ( log sending ) to get everything dialed in & adjusted to be easy on the CVT but still hit higher performance. Definitely not seeking anything crazy. Just after occasional spirited drives. Always been told with the CVTs especially, anything over 20MPH and 2500RPM, free to play. But 0-20 you try to be lighter on everything. As doing any aggressive accelerations from a dead stop is very stressful on them.
Either way, I'm always lightly dialed in to see where this channel takes things, its been a nice little "Hey look at this new thing that came our!"

@@PhxSt0rmz I don't plan to abuse my car, I 'm much older, but still an enthusiast, but no longer in the PD from Long ago as Honolulu's finest. My 1984 Buick Grand National had a lot of torque and horsepower, even before the later intercooled versions. My N/A 2000 silver Chevy Impala LS Trunk Monkey edition had a lot of torque, too, especially on wet pavement. It took me a bit to get used to it when I first got it. And also my 2006 Impala SS with Flowmaster mufflers.
Now, I will be happy with the Civic Sport Hatchback, HR-V Sport, Toyota Camry SE or if I could get it as my second toy or flashy ride, I would get the full blown new Acura Integra A-Spec Technology Package, essentially an more refined Civic Si with the awesome ESL stereo I want.

I’ve got a 2023 1.5l Touring Sedan in Ralleye Red.
I want to do some upgrades to it, but I don’t want to do so much cosmetic as I want to do performance, at least for now. I included the color because some of you may know about exterior mods that would go nicely with that color.
I’d like to upgrade the intake, intercooler, turbo, ignition coils, fuel injectors, exhaust, suspension and more. Tuning it is not out of the question either.
If it’s even remotely possible with parts availability and the newness of the vehicle, I would like to put another 320-340 hp into the car. I doubt I could do that with bolt ons, but that’s why I’m here. I don’t know what’s available and I’m curious what people know is out there.
Yes, I can Google these things myself, but I’d prefer to talk to people who already know what works and what doesn’t for this particular vehicle.
It’s got a measly 180 hp right now and I’d like to get it closer to 500-520 hp if at all possible. I feel like a car that weighs 3077 would feel immensely faster if it had 500-520hp at the wheel . It would share a similar power to weight ratio of a Challenger Hellcat at that horsepower.
I’m new to the Honda world. I’ve been a Jeep owner for most of my life and I decided to switch things up dramatically this year. Got rid of the money pit and I’d like to turn this car into a money pit, but for all the right reasons!
More power, faster acceleration, better handling
I’d love any advice any of you all can give me.
Please be respectful. I’m not uneducated when it comes to cars and such, but I’m willing to admit I don’t know everything. I’ve checked a few websites out like prlmotorsports, and I found some stuff there that I like.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. I’m just getting my toes wet in the world of owning a Honda!
    So far, I love it!

    • @717PROJECT
      @717PROJECT  Год назад +1

If your looking for 500+ hp, you will want a Type R. Not sure you can get that out of a 1.5t, at least reliably. 300hp, sure. Flex fuel, full bolt on and a great tune should get you there.

As a Civic Touring owner, I can tell you from experience that you simply unable to make anything over 260hp. Transmission is simply trash, not made for power. For power you better off with an older gen civic with K20-K24 or better K20A-K24A engines. Few bolt on mods and you can see number around 430whp at 12psi.
