I think it’s weird that Roman’s title still carries the “undisputed” moniker when Seth Rollins holds a world title. But RAW needed a world title so they made the new WHC belt. One way they could build up Ilja Dragunov really quickly on the main roster is by having him be an iron man in the royal rumble still as NXT champion (ideally also getting lots of big eliminations too, but most importantly including Gunther in the final 4 or 5) but not have him win it, and then from that big elimination of Gunther, have Gunther show up in Nxt to attack Dragunov, and eventually cost him the title in like February, for him him go into a marquee Wrestlemania match for the IC title, whether he wins there or not isn’t really the point (NXT UK match is a perfect explanation of why i say that) but just having that huge showcase on a major stage is to get people to be like “ok, im into this” off of the pedigree that gunther has built up

CM Punk doesn't want or need a world title. he wants the main event of WM. He can lose that and he will still be satisfied, he has defended the WWE title at Wrestlemania before he doesn't need to come out as champ again he just needs to close the show.
I think it's hard to call up ppl from nxt when you got so much star power on the main roster already maybe a 3rd brand ecw or WCW business wise it'll be another day they can sell tv rights. I know nxt can be that 3rd brand but they are already known as the developmental brand and you'd have to just create another developmental brand so that's why I didn't say them as the 3rd "main roster" brand but even with a 3rd brand ppv bookings will be hard. WWE got roster problems but I think it's a good problem to have
I hated it when Okada just came in a white tee and sneakers on AEW. That is not how you present one of the greatest wrestlers in the modern era. Imagine him being a Paul Heyman guy because he obviously may not be fluent in english and I dont want him to be in just vignettes. You always say the thing about bad booking with the women’s tag titles but the main problem is that they barely have any real women’s tag teams so it’s hard to care about the feuds or titles at all. Mid card titles would make it much easier to care and would also only require 2 women for each feud and make it easier to build.

tbh, if damian is going to cash in on drew mcintyre, it would be best for him to cash in on him on the raw after wrestlemania, after drew wins ot on wrestlemania, a big title change with a couple of debuts by nxt stars will hopefully bring raw after wm back to being a fun show.
I just don't know how Roman retains the belt at WM if he faces Cody again. I won't say people will turn against Cody if he loses again, but he definetly loses some steam, and I would definetely be fatigued to wait a whole nother year waiting for Cody to get a shot again. Cody also can't go that long without a belt, I get the "hard times" comparisons but come on, why are we booking him like he was in AEW? On top of that I think this year has really soured people on Roman's run. I was a big believer in it last year, I thought even though he wasn't on every show he was active enough that I wasn't mad about it, and they would bring up his name actively in the nights he wasn't on so he always had a presence. This year though, he feels more like Brock Lesnar's part-time unviersal championship run, where you basically forget about him for months until he pops up to take an obvious win since he can't lose until Wrestlemania. Even when he pops up now, he no longer has the bloodline for story-wise purposes. Last year even when he went against guys like Logan Paul, or KO when you knew for a fact Roman was going to retain, we had all this bloodline drama, we had Sami, Jey becoming main event guys, it was intriguing past just who the opponent was. Now, I don't get that same feeling, Roman's feud with LA Knight was alright, but even just a month after no memorable moments really come to my mind. It was such a bland feud and while I am definetely in the camp that this Roman run has elevated more people than its hurt, I don't think Roman did that with LA Knight, if anything I care less about LA Knight now then I did before. With guys like Drew, Logan and Sami, Roman was making them into stars. Overall, it's just become so bland this run, and there's a clear person who both deserves the belt, but also needs the belt. Roman retaining would be such a mistake

CM Punk doesn't want or need a world title. he wants the main event of WM. He can lose that and he will still be satisfied, he has defended the WWE title at Wrestlemania before he doesn't need to come out as champ again he just needs to close the show.
I think it's hard to call up ppl from nxt when you got so much star power on the main roster already maybe a 3rd brand ecw or WCW business wise it'll be another day they can sell tv rights. I know nxt can be that 3rd brand but they are already known as the developmental brand and you'd have to just create another developmental brand so that's why I didn't say them as the 3rd "main roster" brand but even with a 3rd brand ppv bookings will be hard. WWE got roster problems but I think it's a good problem to have
Ludwig and Gunther could feud without one being a baby face and I think it would be a great story
I hated it when Okada just came in a white tee and sneakers on AEW. That is not how you present one of the greatest wrestlers in the modern era. Imagine him being a Paul Heyman guy because he obviously may not be fluent in english and I dont want him to be in just vignettes. Imagine him debuting against Roman and absolutely destroying him in one match with Paul Heyman by his side. Okada has already cemented himself everywhere and there are just some people whom you dont have to build from the beginning

You always say the thing about bad booking with the women’s tag titles but the main problem is that they barely have any real women’s tag teams so it’s hard to care about the feuds or titles at all. Mid card titles would make it much easier to care and would also only require 2 women for each feud and make it easier to build.

I like the idea of Ilja challenging Gunther for a belt at Berlin but why couldn’t it just be the IC belt? Gives WWE an easier opportunity to push as he isn’t having to be pushed to main event status and it’s more plausible for Ilja to win the IC belt off of Gunther than the WHC.

I just don't know how Roman retains the belt at WM if he faces Cody again. I won't say people will turn against Cody if he loses again, but he definetly loses some steam, and I would definetely be fatigued to wait a whole nother year waiting for Cody to get a shot again. Cody also can't go that long without a belt, I get the "hard times" comparisons but come on, why are we booking him like he was in AEW? On top of that I think this year has really soured people on Roman's run. I was a big believer in it last year, I thought even though he wasn't on every show he was active enough that I wasn't mad about it, and they would bring up his name actively in the nights he wasn't on so he always had a presence. This year though, he feels more like Brock Lesnar's part-time unviersal championship run, where you basically forget about him for months until he pops up to take an obvious win since he can't lose until Wrestlemania. Even when he pops up now, he no longer has the bloodline for story-wise purposes. Last year even when he went against guys like Logan Paul, or KO when you knew for a fact Roman was going to retain, we had all this bloodline drama, we had Sami, Jey becoming main event guys, it was intriguing past just who the opponent was. Now, I don't get that same feeling, Roman's feud with LA Knight was alright, but even just a month after no memorable moments really come to my mind. It was such a bland feud and while I am definetely in the camp that this Roman run has elevated more people than its hurt, I don't think Roman did that with LA Knight, if anything I care less about LA Knight now then I did before. With guys like Drew, Logan and Sami, Roman was making them into stars.
Overall, it's just become so bland this run, and there's a clear person who both deserves the belt, but also needs the belt. Roman retaining would be such a mistake
I’d say ppl who only watch the main roster in truly missing out on nxt and also here me out on this Lexis king and Carmelo have there match but trick wines up getting involved then both Lexis king and Carmelo turns to trick beats him down and months and months later Carmelo and lexis win nxt tag gold
