  • The Project & Offset tools in the Sketch environment are modernized in Creo 9. This increases usability through modernized, aligned chain selection workflows for the Project and Offset tools in Sketcher, and makes referencing and usage of 3D geometry inside Sketcher easier.

Hi, I ended up here because I had problems offsetting a chain of lines and arcs on a simple sketch. In Creo 9, you only have the option to offset element by element, not the whole chain. To resolve this, I have found that you have to do two sketches, one with the original chain and another one using the offset tool. If you want to have the original chain, also use the project tool in the same sketch that you have the offset.
For whoever is responsible, I do not know if there is an easier and faster way of offsetting a chain, although I would be pleased if someone tells me how. If there is not, you have done the basics more complicated so this is not an improvement but a deterioration. In other programs, it is easier.

This implementation and workflow is much worse than it used to be.
