  • This Creo Parametric tutorial video continues the deep dive into geometry creation in Sketch Mode to cover the following commands:
    Project
    Offset
    Thicken
    Text
In addition it also shows how to use Copy Geometry to reference a surface from another part as well as using a Family Table to drive a text feature by a parameter.

I enjoy Sketch Mode Deep Dive series! I can't wait for the constrain tab.

Thanks, Apostolis! Constraints Deep Dive can be found here: ruclips.net/video/xI0yVLQh7c8/видео.html
I did these videos out of order. On a given day I will create which video I'm most interested in, and not necessarily the one that comes next logically.

may we save this file seperately and sketch will depend or not on parent ?

The part file will have a dependency to the assembly and component via the Copy Geometry feature. But you can set the Update Control to Manual Update or No Dependency to control how it behaves. No Dependency will break the relationship to the parent.

    Hello mr. Dave,
I have some doubts in sheet metal modelling.
How can I ask you regarding that?
Which would be your convenient way?
    Thank you

If it's straightforward, it would make sense to post the question in the comments of this video: ruclips.net/video/N9ziXCTcScE/видео.html

sir why ptc creo not supporting body based 3d contact system, it will depend on surface to surface 3d contact and this method so time conuming and boring , they should upgrade it to body geometry based 3d contact connection and if we select body it assign all surface automatic that are going to connect with others. this make me annoying.

3D Contacts do support the selection of entire components. If you're asking why the programmers and developers selected one dynamics analysis solver algorithm over another, I do not have insight into that decision making process.
