I became a Nightwish fan in 2015 but when I heard Tarja OMFG Tarja stole my heart, my soul, my breath away. Tarja is freaking fantastic and I can’t explain how much I LOVE Tarja. ❤️
The comparisons between tarja and floor is just non sense they are both awesome vocalists and completely different in a perfect way they both fit into nightwish and as fans we r lucky to have 2 of the best vocalists so let's just enjoy the band as a whole and the great music they r producing ❤️❤️❤️
The way I look at it is that Nightwish as we know it today probably wouldn't exist without Tarja. Every member of the band past and present have contributed to making them AWESOME.
@@tthompson5707 It literally wouldn't, Thuomas original idea was to make campfire folk songs, not metal, let alone symphonic metal. He only changed his mind when he heard Tarja singing, her voice was what made them unique at the time, you can even say Tarja and Thuomas were pioneering and influenced all of these other symphonic metal with classical female vocalist that came after them. Simone Simons for instance said she only started to take classical singing classes after listening to Tarja's voice, even Floor was probably influenced by Tarja aswell. It's sad that people don't really credit Tarja for her contribution to the metal scene too.
I am a longtime Nightwish fan and Tarja is my favorite, but I also like Floor and I’ve known her since she was on After Forever, and then on Revamp. I was very happy when I heard that Floor was going to Nightwish, however, I confess that this war that arose among the fans discouraged me a lot. There has never been a rivalry between Tarja and Floor fans in the past. I listened to After Forever and Nightwish in the same proportion. It would be nice if you saw how Tarja is today. I would like to suggest a cover that Tarja did in her solo career. Please react to "Supremacy", a live performance recorded in Milan. It is very iconic! Thanks!
it is human nature NOT to get along. Everyone has their opinions. But there are those few that are just too stubborn to agree to disagree, stuck in their own ways. You can't please everyone, it's impossible.
first and most importantly: the tank cameo was brilliant, 10/10 secondly: i totally agree about the singer thing. i love floor and i generally prefer her versions over tarjas. HOWEVER. i know tarja is a fantastic singer and what she brought to the band was absolutely crucial. and there are a few songs/parts of songs where i prefer tarja. for example, i love floor in the first half of this song, and i love tarja in the second half. both are fantastic, but i prefer parts of this one with both of them. people cant seem to praise one without bashing the other and its bullshit but here we are. thirdly: i recommend weak fantasy (tampere) , 7 days to the wolves (wembley) , and shudder before the beautiful (wembley). theyre all pretty heavy too and i think youll really like them. cant wait for next week!
I remember that keyboard setup when I saw them live in 2003. This is one of the songs that I prefer Tarja vocals on it. Damn, when I saw them live the back of the stage was a simple image of the album 'Once'
@@VikingReacts That's awesome. I'm glad you are able to collaborate with him as he was a big influence for doing this for you. I really like how you are evolving your own channel too!
I REALLY like your style 🤪 Great reaction once again. That Tank moment was a hilarious surprise! 😃 EV-1!!!!! 🎸😄 And thanks for a new word - Emppulicious. Going to use it for sure. 😆❤️
Thank you!! I am happy you enjoy it! Tank just had to be at least referred to in a video. This was even better. I asked...he agreed. Awesome! And Emppulicious instantly came to mind when I was editing :P
@@VikingReacts When it comes to Annette, pick a studio version. She really struggled with live performances which is a shame, as she was really quite good.
I absolutely love Tarja`s voice, her tone and power. I love the way she carries herself, her presence, her style. I respect Floor. Personally prefer Tarja, but have a lot of respect for Floor and I am happy for the band and the fans that they found her. I only listen Nightwish with Tarja. I would never go to see Nightwish with Floor just to praise Tarja and put Floor down. I don`t think any true Nightwish fan would. Just let everybody enjoy what they like. Please react to Tarja alone in Woodstock 2016 with Supremacy and Victim of ritual. Stay safe.
I will check it out. Thanks for that :) And what you wrote... is exactly what I am talking about. History is history... they all evolved and they all found their place. Marko may be somewhat of a different story now but that is unrelated I guess...
Did you know that Tarja and Floor are old friends? They don't bother with the issue that much either ;). Floor was a guest in a relatively recent stream from Tarja's channel.
Hey there! Skoll! I want to ask you for a personal favor. You've promised to react to my reccommendations, I trust you on that. But maybe you would like to consider postponing After Forever-Monolith of doubt. My husband Richard and I have our 25th (so silver) wedding anniversary coming up may 24th. With Covid-19 there are few opportunities to celebrate. Since my friend Chris introduced us to After forever and their first album (prison of desire), Richard and I have been impressed with Floors abilities. We've seen After Forever about a dozen of times since then. Would you please, please, pretty please do the reaction to 'Monolith of doubt' live at the Kopspijkers tv show (2002) on our silver wedding anniversary? I would like to surprise Richard with your reaction!

Tarja is amazing. Just as Floor. But so different. love them both. And I am one of those who also loves Annette. She didn't always do great live but as a studio singer she is also amazing.
@@VikingReacts This would be cool. Maybe a double reaction of "The Siren"? Tarja version from End of an Era and Annette version: ruclips.net/video/NBnZyYtfOpc/видео.html edit- Annette does a great job in this one, LIVE, made it her own style.
Meeting of the bearded reactors, loved the Tank cameo, always full of useful information Song sounded great with both singers but when it comes to Nightwish, I'm a Floor guy! Still loving your reactions, always get excited when a notification pops up! Skål
Let's see if we can do a full on collab some day ;). That would be a LOT of beard in one video! Right now... i already feel blessed :). Thanks for always being here in the comments dude! I am always excited myself when i see familiar names in the comments. So...we are both excited ;)
There's nothing to compare in this case. The song was written for Tarja's voice therefore she sings it much much better, especially the classical parts, her tone and positioning is waaaay more appropriate for that kind of stuff. Note that I freakin' love Floor since the After Forever days, but it's crystal clear that with the exception of Ghost Love Score all Tarja's songs feel a little bit compromised and I really don't like the fact that are being played in lower keys.
Awesome!!!! You get a new sub!!! I simplemente love the way you have fun with every member of the band, no matter if it's Floor or Tarja. It's nice how they all enjoyed being on stage!!
I like this reaction. And I like respectful replies that I see here from the Nightwish fans to both versions.Nightwish is a gift that keeps giving.Their legacy is awesome and so is the present and no doubt, the future too. Keep the love flowing.❤
That surprised me actually :). There are a few in here that do have a stronger opinion. But that is ok. People are free to have those and we don't need to agree on everything :)
Ah, the Viking. I always enjoy watching your channel. No matter what song, Nightwish always makes me happy. Yes, there is a sight I like to see also. Emppu and Marko, together on stage. I don't think that i have heard this song before. WOW, Great.
@@VikingReacts Abso-freaking-lutely!! I wish more people would react to the Tarja version. I agree, both ladies are amazing. They really shouldn’t be compared because they are so different. BUT! Tarja, has my heart.
Nice reaction dude, loved Tank's cameo. I agree with you that we can enjoy both versions and the different approach that Tarja and Floor bring to the same songs. Keep rocking, hug from Portugal. 🤘🤘🤘
I get you, guy, I get you! xD That was an awesome reaction (again)!!! Love to see people get to this awesome song, ESPECIALLY with a double reaction!! I usually prefer one version (singer-wise) over another, but not with Slaying the Dreamer, bc they both have unique details that make the respective version AWESOME to me. (Preferring btw does not mean I dislike the one I don't prefer. I usually love both versions, but sometimes one vocalist's style matches the theme more than the other. Do you get me? ;D) And omg, this little Tank cameo (tankameo? :D) was a neat little surprise! Awesome! I think another great song for a double reaction would be "Nemo", one of their most famous classics. If you'd consider doing something like that once again. ;)
Damn - my comments are always long, but today I'll tell you short - amazingly good response and holy words in summary - two different versions of the same song - different but both perfect! Tarja and Floor - two sincere friends in real life - sang the same song - each different, each one great - what more could you want?
@@VikingReacts Yes - they are good friends! If you check out the Floor channel, their conversation came out recently - in times of a pandemic, it's the only way to talk about how you can't meet face to face. Marita Svendsen gave you three links to "Over the hills and Far away" in her post. It is worth using them - the first two are the studio and concert version - the sound is great and allows you to appreciate this song and Tarja's great artistry. But the third link is very interesting - the sound is not the best, but it shows the relationship between Tarja and Floor very well! Pay attention to the little gestures - gestures to the sound engineer - Tarja shows that Floor's microphone is too quiet and needs to be turned up, Floor shows that it's too loud and drowns out her friend Tarja a bit. A small thing, and so much shows - how much they respect each other and how much they care for each other!
Tarja is shorter than Floor, but is of average height for a woman, I think around 5'6" (167 cm). But she's more petite and of smaller build. But my goodness she has a powerful voice!
@@jimmyboy131 ...that means Empuu is shorter than me (same height as Tarja) ...well, that's what happens when you exchange height for talent. I just forgot to pick mine when I made the trade.
the problem is not Floor vs Tarja. The problem is that Tarja's version sound much better because of the band playing differently. If you pay attention, the key is lowered in Floor's versions for most of the songs...I don't know why they changed that, so it sounds like a cover of their own band. Also, at least in this song, Tarja's "heavy" and dark voice hits the right notes in the "Put a stake" phrase. I mean, Tarja's voice fills up the space in the songs.
yeah they have changed all their classics I dont know why Tuomas has done that it ruins it for me same like adding Flutes to Nemo totally ruined the song.. old concerts sounds way better that new ones for that same reason
I think Tuomas hasn't wanted an operatic sound since Tarja left the band. This is possibly the reason why some old songs have the lowest tone in versions with Floor. In addition, Floor's great power lies in her belting. Floor certainly reaches the high notes sung by Tarja in the original versions, but Floor's strong point is not an operatic voice. Perhaps this is also an explanation for lowering the pitch. Less acute tones favor the use of belting. The higher the music, the more we tend to use a head voice, which favors lyrical singing, in the case of a soprano.
Love your videos. This is an awesome song and the performance is so theatrical. I was able to see it live (Decades tour) and it was a great experience.
[Long post] 1) "Fuck it. I'm going back" - hell yes! 2) "Emppulicious" is my new favourite word 3) The Tank cameo appearance was hysterical 😂 4) 💯 agree that the ladies of Nightwish are all awesome in their own ways, and that each have brought something different to the table, .making we, the fans, spoilt bloody rotten 5) Shout out 🏝🔇 gang! and finally 6) You recently opened up about your mental health journey and I'm sending love and light from the UK. Are you a true believer in Asatru or just a lover of all things Nordic mythology? I noticed your shirt and of course your Hammer. You heard it correctly. Tuomas uses the technique in several songs. He adds dissonant string stabs, like the sounds from the famous shower screen in the 1960 Hitchcock movie "Psycho". It adds tension and makes you feel that something dreadful is about to happen. I loved that you had a Tank cameo in the middle of your reaction. Great to know you are friends. Beautiful and very intelligent political statement at the ending. Let's just love Nightwish in all of their incarnations! Loved it my Asgardian friend. Yes! I GET IT!!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Not so much a true believer as I haven't checked Asatru in depth. I do know what is is about but to say I believe it in that way... not really. Norse mythology is just fascinating and I love that it so close to nature. I like that a lot. The shirt is my own design btw ;). I wanted Tank in a video so bad as he is the one who inspired me to do this in the first place. I love the guy. Everything I said in regards to Tarja and Floor is my honest opinion. I wasn't even trying to be Politically Correct as I think being PC doesn't work. I'd rather you know my opinion and see me as honest :). Glad that you got it :P
@@VikingReacts I feel the same way as you regarding Norse mythology and have a few Hammers and Valknuts as well. I have a fascination with all things Runic. There is so much power in symbolism. Love the shirt!
Don't worry, eventually (after another 10-20 vids) you'll stop being surprised by the song "not being what you expected." It will still be "not what you expected," it just by then you'll realise there is no point saying it every time!!! I believe Nightwish are now at approx 140 songs in their back catalogue, so there are plenty more surprises to come! And on that subject, there are a few Anette songs you really need to check out, all of which will surprise you - 'Meadows of Heaven,' 'Slow Love Slow,' 'The Crow The Owl & The Dove,' 'Scaretale,' 'Rest Calm' and of course the singles 'Amaranthe,' 'Bye Bye Beautiful' and 'Eva' are all good for a starting point. I agree with you about not understanding the issue over lead singers, though on the whole with Anette I recommend studio versions as her live performances are not as consistent as the other two, and sadly even the good ones are usually poor video/sound quality.
I have a slight preference for Floor, but it is slight, i love Tarja to! Also, great reaction again dude, and a nice little guest appearance from Tank 🤘
awesome and funny to see tank slide in with his chicken nugget of emppu knowledge..you,tank and chase are my 3 faves....if you listen to those strings it's an ode to the movie psycho...lol
It just had to happen :P I wanted to so something funny every time i saw that EV1. And since Tank and I are in the same discord...I just asked him if he was up for a little joke :). I love the compliment dude. Tank and Chase are amazing and share so much knowledge. They made me listen even better than I did before! And indeed... the strings are very Psycho now that you mention it.
It was really cool to see Marko trying to 'put a stake' through Floors heart in the beginning, fitting to the lyrics and yeah, I love it when they all have bro moments :3 I also only just now noticed that Floor softly hit her own head at the 'scapegoat' lyric. They're not singing, this is like a theatre act or something :D And her face at 5:58 ! Also a great example! This is a small play, not just an awesome song! 'When a Valkyrie goes full banshee' I love that quote! :D This song is so hard to do 0.0 Dang! Nightwish never fails to amaze you 0.0 Yeah, seeing them all so much younger is almost cute indeed xD :P Ghahaha, Tank popping up was hilarious xD Very nicely done! Wow, Tarja, that indeed was amazing! :D The only thing I disliked about the second one, was the editing. I got a bit dizzy there and not in a good way @.@ I had to look away sometimes and that was a bummer, I wanted to see them. I too don't understand why fans fight each other over these two singers. They are both amazing and so talanted in their own unique way. Of course, you can have a favorite, I have that too and it's Floor, but that does not mean Tarja can't sing or something. She is amazing too. I really hate fans fighting over stuff like this.. It's good to support your favorite singer and have an opinion but don't be mean to the other if they don't share the same opinion. They're not hurting anyone with having a different favorite, right? Unfortunately, you see it with many other fan bases, whether it's about singers, actors, characters, series/movies, or my least favorite, shipping wars.. Dang, they are aweful and childish.. Anyway, you just enjoy the band and your singers and PLAY NICE. It's not that hard, people! PS: Wacht, is de vervanger van Marko bekent? o.o Wie is het?
At the end is about taste in vocal and style. Some can enjoy both, some are ,more toward one or another. Personally I enjoy Tarja's performance (vocal and style) more, but it doesn't mean she is better or Floor is less.
Then there's the group of people who love FLoor, but also want reactors to discover and love the other periods too. Where I get annoyed is when they only stick to Floor era at the behest of the comment section which is mostly Floor fanatics, and it becomes more about her than Nightwish as a whole. I only watch the reactors now that explore their whole history.
Both are great and i love them both. And Tarja in the end was somebody who more or less influenced a lot of other female singers, even Floor and Simone Simons in the following years, so even if you don't like her that much, she was a big influence for the whole symphonic metal genre. On the other hand Floor is the reality since 2013 i think and even the most hardcore Tarja fans should meanwhile have adapted to her and at least realize that she can sing all the old songs, some maybe not that good as Tarja (Sleeping Sun, Deadp Boys Poem and songs like that) but some maybe even a bit better where her more flexible rock style gives some extras to it, like Ghost Love Score. For me as an old Tarja fan is stopped following Nighwish maybe 2007 when i saw a live concert with Anette on TV and had the feeling the whole band unlearned playing their instrumens, and then 2013 somebody told me that Floor should joins them and i should look on RUclips, and she was also the one i always dreamed as their singer and she never dissapointed me. Btw. i don't "hate" Anette. however especially for a band that was soo good live she was just not the right person. I like some of their studio songs, "Eva" for example even if its a totally untypical song .. or "meadows of heaven", but live .. please no.
This was such a freaking Epic video. Absolutely loved it. Tarja and Floor are absolute vocal beast. If you love growling Floor you should check out ReVamp Wildcard. This was Floor's band before she joined Nightwish. 🤘☺️🤘💜
I like Tarja very much and I listen to almost all the Nightwish songs sung by her. I also like to listen to Anette or Floor but I can't listen to the songs that Tarja sings (Tarja simply sounds better, the songs were chosen for her or by her.) I hope Nightwish does songs for Floor like they did for Tarja.
Marko was putting a stake into Floor's heart. Awww. But don't worry. It wasn't a real stake. Just an air stake. Ow Ome Marko... I'm not giving up hope. He can still come back. And you shouldn't be surprised you keep getting surprised by Nightwish. Besides from vocal talent (they are both amazing in their own way) I always seen Tarja as a 'mooi poppetje', while Floor is like a warrior goddess. Floor off stage is sweet and humble though. With a good sense of dry Dutch humor. I recommend you watch the whole season of Beste Zangers 2019. You'll love em all in the end. Floor and Henk Poort... It's so cute. Floor has been fan of Henk Poort since she was a kid. She was totally fangirling. But on the show they kinda developed a special bond. They also did Phantom of the Opera together. I'll give you a link. ruclips.net/video/plCScjvDOJM/видео.html&ab_channel=AVROTROS
Anyway another great reaction, I hope you read my lengthy explanation, we love Floor and Tarja, I see Tarja as the begginning, a great performer, not much of a band member, but killer talent. What usually sets off the in-fighting, comments like, Floor is ok, but I miss Tarja and the way she sang it. It is good you understand the past a little before you tackle Poet and the Pendulum, and you must read the open letter the band sent to Tarja, and her response. Understand Tuomas came out looking like this monster after Tarja went on tv crying, and he went into a deep depression. Even possibly toyed with suicidal thoughts, for firing his dear friend and being hated by so many for it, even though it was the entire band decision.
I read every comment ;). I have also read the letters. It is understandable because whatever happened...we never hear everything that went on. Some people may choose to side with Tuomas and the band and others will side with Tarja. On the other hand...Tuomas seems to have moved on...Tarja seems to have moved on. Why don't we all?
@@VikingReacts It is just an important part of Nightwish history, and if you gonna react to Poet and the Pendulum you need to understand, that was Tuomas' state of mind when he wrote it, he kills himself in the song so in his words he didn't have to in real life and the song was therapeutic for his coming out of his depression over being hated by so many people. Even the Prime Minister of Finland came out against Tuomas and his firing of Tarja, was a big deal in his country and to the fans of that time. In the Poet and the Pendulum, you can still see the pain in his face and the Emppu checking up on him. They say when they play that song he sometimes takes out his ability to hear it, because it takes him back to that time. In part of it, at the end, Mother and Father, some of the thing sung were said to him by his actual mother about his depression and thoughts. The song is a true masterpiece, but good to understand the backstory before hand to get the meaning and the depth of the experience. If and or when you decide to react, I recommend Wembley with the words enabled.
Tarja was the original singer so fans from that time have a nostalgia for her more operatic style. When Floor joined NW she was planning to go hard operatic, but Tuomas and the band said no, keep her more metal persona and throw in the operatic when called for. I believe it was a better move. Tarja and Floor have been friends like 20 years strong, and holds no malice towards her. Tarja herself said many times she always felt like a stand in singer with NW, and that NW was Tuomas'. I got mad respect for Tarja and her talent, and I know she was the original. Floor loves being a part of this band, one with it, Tarja never felt that and it is why at the end. Things turned ugly, she and her hubby were ditching rehearsals, not travelling or even talking with the band members for over a year. She was planning to leave after one more album anyway, but the band was tired not having her full commitment, and she even told Tuomas one time towards the end. I could leave with one days notice if I wanted. See the issues? Tuomas started this band with her and Emppu, loved her at least as dear friend and muse. He wrote songs she could perform with her operatic voice. She felt like a stand-in singer, who felt she was being held back by the band, and that she could leave the band/family at the drop of a hat.
That is quite the background story. Thanks for that!. But hey... in the end we all have our preference and that is ok. And I think...in the end they all found their place. Thanks again for that backstory!
Thats a very misguided twisted version of what happened. Yes, she was already planning to leave on her own accord, but it was a mutual decision by the whole band that she stays for one more album. They changed the plans behind her back 9 months prior to this show, and cunningly like some immature kids started to plot behind her back in how to hurt her the most. She did not "ditch" rehearsals. The band was never specific with this, but Tarja and Marcelo were. She was not present for rehearsals in the studio, she did her recording separately, but she rehearsed live with them for concerts. Two completely separate things. Moreover, she was never invited to summer cabin where the guys always recorded the studio albums, and neither was Anette, but Floor invited herself over, and it worked splendidly (good for her). Also - Why are you so short-sighted? I know why, because you want to believe a lie not because it is true - but because you WANT it to be true. Tarja wanted to leave because she had enough of the guys' immaturity. They would contract full tours behind her back without letting her view the terms and the conditions, and even during the tours, what was stated in the contracts was almost never fulfilled, and she had to repeat the same measures over and over til she eventually started to travel separately because the guys were infamous for the wild parties - just watch their Tour documentary End of Innocence and see how they smoke like chimneys, and drink more bottles than a full legion, flash their butts and dicks and have groupies present. Tuomas so drunk he passes out in an elevator and two guys having to carry him to bed - imagine what content they thought TOO wild to show the fans? And now - Marco is leaving Nightwish, partially for him feeling used by the industry and pushed to his mental brink - JUST like Tarja said 16 years ago, but then she was branded the greedy diva - when she actually wanted to play fewer shows (less money, less exposure), but instead Marco is branded a martyr. There is a double standard for how men and women are treated in metal. Tarja performed 120 + shows in her last tour and did it despite her mother passing from Cancer just a short while before. She prioritized the band - and members have gone on break for far less tragic events. She rejected numerous offers by other bands and labels just to show loyalty, and the guys had the nerve to publish a letter full of accusations that have been debunked - like the time they claimed she wanted to cancel a show in Oslo - when the truth is she was only notified during the same day when they had withheld the information from her for months. I get it, you love the band, I do too in some ways, but let's not make angels and martyrs of people and try to crucify a woman of being a witch when its the opposite if you do the research and judge events for how they played out.
@@FemaleMetalLover And we can't just appreciate what they left behind? The band and Tarja have moved on from what I understand. Maybe the fans should do so as well...
Yep, my favorite Nightwish singer is and will always be Marko, but aren't we a bunch of happy people to have so many versions of awesome songs, that we can listen too? Every front woman brings a different feeling to a song and I prefer some songs from Anette, some from Tarja and some from Floor (okay, most from Floor to be honest), but I don't get the "who is better?"-discussions. They are just different. Looking forward to some Annette reactions (Scaretale, Sahara, Rest Calm or more mellow Slow, Love, Slow and The Crow, The Owl and The Dove). But be prepared to do more studio stuff with her since there are not many good quality live videos out there (Slow, Love, Slow would be one). A great triple reaction would be Planet Hell. I absolutely love all three versions.
Ok, i have a question for everyone. Does anyone else get Tribal vibes? this is only the second time I've heard this song (well 3rd with this double reaction) and at a certain point i was expecting them to start grunting like in the Tribal song 😅
I definitely agree that Floor and Tarja are just as talented, but I personally prefer Floor's voice. I feel like the non-operatic moments in Floor's version just add that extra 'something' that is missing from Tarja's purely operatic delivery.
True... That very section in the very end with the operatic singing was clearly made for Tarja but they both rock it. It really does come to personal preference and that is just fine :)
From what I understand of it is that the oldschool Nightwish fans (not all of em) feel offended when someone says Floor is better. Most of em stopped listening to Nightwish because they were on Tarja's side when she was asked to leave the band. When Floor joined, part of em gave them another try. They will say Floor is a great fit, but saying or admitting Floor is better goes a step too far for them. They are loyal to their queen Tarja. That's what I think.
@@black4pienus not entirely true, me a fan since 2001 and many others like Wolfe from HalfLifeSistah, Floor brings the duality of operatic when it fits and the intensity of other vocal dynamics to make the older songs a bit different and fresh,as Tuomas & Floor have stated is the intent.
@@black4pienus Many of us will say that Floor is awesome and preferred in some songs, and Tarja is awesome and preferred in other songs. In other words probably the majority of us love both of them. But we acknowledge where one seems better suited for a particular song.

Simone Simons for instance said she only started to take classical singing classes after listening to Tarja's voice, even Floor was probably influenced by Tarja aswell. It's sad that people don't really credit Tarja for her contribution to the metal scene too.
@@VikingReacts would love to see them duet
Thanks!
I'm SO thankful we have two amazing version with two different flavors of this song. Both singers doing amazing singing!
Amen! Exactly my point!

Check out "The Siren" from the same concert. Tarja is THE siren, in my opinion.
"Why can't we all just.. get along?"
Because that is not human nature. And...some people just like to complain or troll ;)
@@VikingReacts Ah, I see what you did there! I like it!
it is human nature NOT to get along. Everyone has their opinions. But there are those few that are just too stubborn to agree to disagree, stuck in their own ways.
You can't please everyone, it's impossible.
first and most importantly: the tank cameo was brilliant, 10/10
secondly: i totally agree about the singer thing. i love floor and i generally prefer her versions over tarjas. HOWEVER. i know tarja is a fantastic singer and what she brought to the band was absolutely crucial. and there are a few songs/parts of songs where i prefer tarja. for example, i love floor in the first half of this song, and i love tarja in the second half. both are fantastic, but i prefer parts of this one with both of them. people cant seem to praise one without bashing the other and its bullshit but here we are.
thirdly: i recommend weak fantasy (tampere) , 7 days to the wolves (wembley) , and shudder before the beautiful (wembley). theyre all pretty heavy too and i think youll really like them.
cant wait for next week!
I remember that keyboard setup when I saw them live in 2003.
This is one of the songs that I prefer Tarja vocals on it.
Damn, when I saw them live the back of the stage was a simple image of the album 'Once'
The fire in the background is coming from Floors Dragon that she rode in on....
Seems legit!
LMAO 🤘
That Tank drop was amazing! I love the collaboration. And of course your absolute delight at all the treasures that Nightwish delivers.
It was especially cool as Tank is the one who inspired me to do this in the first place :P. And what can one say...Nightwish never disappoints!
@@VikingReacts That's awesome. I'm glad you are able to collaborate with him as he was a big influence for doing this for you. I really like how you are evolving your own channel too!

I can't judge Anette yet as I haven't heard a single Anette song yet... But I will...very soon!

Thanks for that :)
And what you wrote... is exactly what I am talking about.

A wild Tank appears! That put a big smile on my face! 😄

I adore the both of them equally but there are certain songs that I prefer in one or the other's voice and this one I prefer in tarja's.
Tarja and Floor don't have an issue with each other so why does anyone else? Great reactions!

So down for a Viking/Tank video! The headbanging at the same time would be epic!
Agree with you, Nightwish in the beginin was a heavy metal band with a soprano ! When i listen Tarja I feel Nightwish

Do you get me? ;D)
And omg, this little Tank cameo (tankameo? :D) was a neat little surprise! Awesome!
I think another great song for a double reaction would be "Nemo", one of their most famous classics. If you'd consider doing something like that once again. ;)
Great reaction! Loved tanks visit 🤣🤣
Glad you enjoyed! So did I. Amazing guy :)
Damn - my comments are always long, but today I'll tell you short - amazingly good response and holy words in summary - two different versions of the same song - different but both perfect! Tarja and Floor - two sincere friends in real life - sang the same song - each different, each one great - what more could you want?
And that my friend...is exactly my point! Didn't know they were friends though :P
Tarja is shorter then Floor, but Empuu is still the hobbit.
Hahaha, but a very skilled one :P
I think almost everyone is shorter than Floor. She is already over 6 foot and then she puts on 4" heels. Very dominating.
Tarja is shorter than Floor, but is of average height for a woman, I think around 5'6" (167 cm). But she's more petite and of smaller build. But my goodness she has a powerful voice!
Hey now!! You leave my man with the sunrise smile alone!! 😉😂
Cool! I am hoping that the show in November is a go. I got myself a ticket to see them ;). And...I am happy you like the videos!

Tank's a good dude...
And for the record, I appreciate your enthusiasm, humor and joy in these reactions!
If we see to the tree front singers Nightwish had, we also see how competent the band is together, they change their approach to fit the singer.
I started to listen Nighwish wit Tarja. She has forever My heart. But I DO love Floor❤️

Tarja is the Queen Dude 🤘🏻🖤
It was really cool to see Marko trying to 'put a stake' through Floors heart in the beginning, fitting to the lyrics and yeah, I love it when they all have bro moments :3 I also only just now noticed that Floor softly hit her own head at the 'scapegoat' lyric. They're not singing, this is like a theatre act or something :D And her face at 5:58 ! Also a great example! This is a small play, not just an awesome song! 'When a Valkyrie goes full banshee' I love that quote! :D This song is so hard to do 0.0 Dang! Nightwish never fails to amaze you 0.0
Yeah, seeing them all so much younger is almost cute indeed xD :P Ghahaha, Tank popping up was hilarious xD Very nicely done!
Exactly... We can all have our preference. So far, I like them both. Simply because they are very different :)
great one man 🍺
The Tank intermezo is really funny!
Imagine the amount of simple joy I felt whilst editing and whilst waiting for people to get to that point in the live premiere :P

@@VikingReacts OOh, yess. Thats perfect!!
Then there's the group of people who love FLoor, but also want reactors to discover and love the other periods too. I only watch the reactors now that explore their whole history.
Omg, tesss. Tank, hahaha. I laughed so much! XD
This was a reaction with a whole lot of beard in it ;)
@@VikingReacts It was, and I loved it ;)
floor is a beassssssttttt.complete package voice yall haha not only opra like tarja did😂😂😂
Tarjas version its a 9,5... Floor a 7'5
Both are great and i love them both.
Omfg!!!!! IS TANK!!! ❤
Marko and Tarja are insane!
"This is 2018!"
Can I come?
Always!
This is EPIC
Tarja respondió a Poder and the Pendulem con su canción "Diva" (justamente se llama así de forma irónica)
@@FemaleMetalLover That is how all of Nightwish members say it happened, except Tarja.
@@FemaleMetalLover And we can't just appreciate what they left behind? The band and Tarja have moved on from what I understand. Maybe the fans should do so as well...
@@FemaleMetalLover I am gonna believe the entire band or Tarja who got fired?
Tarja makes The original and Floor makes a cover.
Thanks!!!
have you seen both versions of sleeping sun if not can you make an double reaction ?
Gladly! I haven't seen it yet so that is just fine with me :)
Ok, i have a question for everyone. Does anyone else get Tribal vibes? this is only the second time I've heard this song (well 3rd with this double reaction) and at a certain point i was expecting them to start grunting like in the Tribal song 😅
У Тарьи голос как у целого дьявольского хора, мощнейший голос
I like the first part of the song with Floor and the last part with Tarja 😂
