Nice clock if u want 2 start a clock and watch collection happy hunting I collect pocket watches my favorite is my woodford English made pocket watch its hand wind and the highest quality watch I own but I had 2 send it back 2 get repaired after I first got it cause its locking mechanism 4 its cover got messed up which won't entirely my fault cause the locking mechanism on it was a little faulty 2 begin with but they fixed it and I've had it back sence the summer of 2020 aka last year mechanical clocks and watches really r the best arnt they bud but if u want to start a clock and watch collection I sure would go 4 it hope u have a blessed evening and god bless

I just love the way American's qualify the major cities in the world by saying Paris,,,, France. Paris or Dublin,,, Ireland,, a major capital city needs no qualification it would only need qualification if it were some other (minor) Paris that is unknown the world over!
Oh poor mister Slanghammer - we have nine cities in the USA alone that are named Paris and eleven named Dublin. I "love the way" some people in smaller countries feel the need to be important and self-centered when it comes to their country. Perhaps if you had spent more time listening and learning at school you would know that there is only one CAPITAL CITY named Paris,, CAPITAL CITIES need NO qualification,, a qualification should only come when your are referring to a place that is not the Capital city e.g. Paris, Texas, not when one refers to the Capital City it's self. Yes, the only Capital City in the world named Paris is in France, so there can be no mistake. I return your pity, spiteful attitude and rather twisted regards I have no need for them !

The qualification has nothing to do with my USA citizenship - you were just trying to sound important with your silly post. The clock's dial was originally marked "Paris, France" which was very common if a piece was crafted in Paris. Pieces were also typically hallmarked with both a French marking and the assay office - typically a city. When selling an expensive antique piece, explaining the correct details is important.
