I’ve got one like this but a HAC and it’s not a carriage clock. Probably has a very similar movement but I’m not sure if it’s original since you can see the markings for the alarm mechanism but that has been removed and replaced with a countwheel mechanism. I’ve never seen one with alarm AND striking. This is so cool!
@luka3377 what melody are you wanting? Mine had Comin' through the Rye (spelling?) then it went onto Bonnie Dundee, 2 well-known Scottish, old melodies
@@gaiuscoleman8815 The melody I'm looking for is the National Anthem of Romania, my country. These clocks are rather hard to find and they usually cost a lot of money, but with enough patience I might be lucky enough to find one.
@@gaiuscoleman8815 Hello! Yes, this melody does exist. These clocks were retailed by a clockmaker in Bucharest (Colței Clockshop), and came with a selection of 5 or 6 (i can't remember propperly) musical cilinders. They either had german melodies, french melodies or romanian melodies, including the current National Anthem (it wasn't the anthem back then). These clocks were manufactured by Kienzle and Junghans (or those are the only ones that I've seen).
i would bring it to school and leave it on my desk because the class clock is in a weird place. cool clock. i need to get a bracket clock into my collection soon!
Thanks :) I once brought to school a Slava alarm clock which I have, because my wristwatch stopped working and all the teachers were looking a little weird at me :/ Good luck finding a bracket clock! :)

Well done in getting it working. I had a musical one, but sold it.
That's nice. I'm planning to get a musical one in the future, but it needs to have a certain melody. Perhaps it will take a while to find one :/

@@luka3377 Hi Luka - do you know if the melody exists on such a clock?
