- This Vekoma giant inverted boomerang coaster was Déjà Vu at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California from 2001- 2011 before being relocated to the Northeast Coast. It's one of only two GIBs still operating in the USA. Can you name the other one and the park it's located in? (Hint: We've posted on-ride POV and off-ride videos of it on this channel.)

Deja Vu is such a fun ride. The first drop gets me every time. No, I'm not calling it Goliath. There's too many of those, and they even kept the color theme. It's Deja Vu.

Six Flags seem to love the name Goliath!
I think calling coasters Goliath is a brand thing at this point for 6 flags.
I think it's a thing where every Six Flags park is gonna have its own Goliath. Like right now there's La Ronde, Georgia, Fiesta Texas, this, and soon the woodie. Kinda clever.

Six Flags made a great move by moving this coaster to SFNE and plopped it right in a prominent location for all to see. Back at SFMM it was sorta lonely way back in the park. But now, they need to move Flashback out of there.

The other one located in the USA is Aftershock at Silverwood Theme park. The other ones not located within the USA are Stunt Fall at Parque Warner Madrid in Madrid, Spain, Giant Inverted Boomerang at Jin Jiang Action Park and, also Quantum Leap at Sochi Park Adventureland which is a new construction opening in Sochi Russia this year but, currently it's not operating because the park hasn't opened yet. So, overall there will be 5 operating worldwide this year. Maybe more will appear in the future that are currently in storage.
Awe déjà vu. How I miss you. Still think this would be an awesome pier coaster. When it lifts you over the edge of the pier and all you see is bare water. That's exciting.

Hmmm....so Goliath happens to be:
- a B&M Hypercoaster in Six Flags Over Georgia
- a Giovanola Hypercoaster in Six Flags Magic Mountain
- an RMC in Six Flags Great America
- a B&M Inverted Coaster in Six Flags Fiesta Texas
- a Giant Inverted Boomerang in Six Flags New England

I remember seeing this ride also at sixflag over Georgia called déjà vu and every single time I went to sixflag (I go a lot ) that ride would always start out perfectly but then thought out the day the ride would get stuck for more then 2 hours and people would get use to it to. Well rumors have it that it got relocated and that it would always get stuck b/c they used some of the old rides tracks/same parts to build the ride b/c the older ride was the same concept with a forward and backward theme

Why the hell aren't half the seats facing the other way? Any1 agrees? Aside from that, what a magnificent ride. So inventive and so intimidating. I was bewildered when I saw it leave SFMM cause I thought it was detroyed.

Anthony Martinez I tried a boomerang before (the original one like Flashback) at Hershey park! It was very smooth, no headbanging, but it was intense but the drop kinda was bland as in there was no stomach tickling or churning feelings.
Why'd they take it from magic mountain? I miss it a lot :( I remember I came the last day of operation and it was a humongous line

I wish they cloned this model a million times instead of the regular sit down model. Even though I know this model is way more expensive and also has technical issues often. It’s just way more fun to me.

I got on this but kept my eyes close. I have to do a redo. Eyes open
now WHY would they call this goliath? i can understand maybe if they named a wooden or a b&m that, but why a GIB? that's stupid, they could of at least repainted it orange or some color that actually is associated with the word "goliath"!
