I just bought this same stainless kit on eBay after coming back in stock finally. Been waiting since July. Hopefully install goes fairly easy. I already got 3in coming off stock y to a black widow with dual 2.5 tail pipes and 4in tips. Hopefully the new y lines up ok so shouldn’t have to do much fabricating other than where you took out the 4in on the stainless. I may just add and close the gap instead of taking out some. I don’t have a stainless welder.
Update from my previous comment. I tried everything you did with dropping the driveshaft and starter and jacking engine up to fit driver side. Nothing working. Ended up pulling brake booster off and header slid right in. All in all from removed old shortys I had and cutting y pipe off. I had new headers installed in maybe 4 hours. Take an hour off with all the jacking around with the motor that didn’t work. Pulling brake booster was easiest and fast. I did have to do some custom hammers to clear frame on both sides. Other than that only real issue I had.
I want my 5.2 to sound beefy, right now I have a super 10 1 in 2 out muffler catless, I want it to sound more beefy without having to add headers, what exhaust can I put on it that’s only one pipe?
Great set up, that Y pipe is nice, where did you get it from? I'm looking to install a set of PPH headers on a my 98 D with a 5.9 and the Y pipe that came with them looks like like it going to be too big. Yours looks like it might fit the bill. thanks!
I am going to get the pacesetter ceramic coated ones because I can not find stainless steel long tubes anywhere how did they work for you when they were new??

Love my 99 5.2 5speed ❤ have shortys on it but really wanted Long tubes. Exhaust paired with ignition, msd, and tuned makes huge difference!!!! MOPAR

My truck now after I put long tubes on(same kit he has) is louder with mufflers and cats than it was before with just a straight pipe
that is the sounding 318 small block I have ever heard

They worked well, just eventually rotted out. I can't find the stainless ones anymore either, probably something to do with the plandemic
Better fix those exhaust leaks if you think that sounds good
