Also this is what all the Jedi's articulation should be, he has single elbow and knee joints that actually go pass 90 which is a big improvement.

All three versions of TBS Grievous come with Ki-Adi's hilt design as does Aayla Secura. Gotta remember, those four 'clan sabers' are used by pretty much every Jedi that's not a Main-ish character.
Anyway, that I've sufficiently "um actually"d, the figure looks great, happy to finally see this getting released. Great review, Nate!

Ball jointed wrists were a surprise, and I’m glad that they gave him thigh swivel. Seemed like they were starting to stray away from that with some figures a little.
Feel like this may definitely be top five of the year for 2024. May be a little early to call. It’s only May so only time will tell!

I'll probably pick him up after all my Aayla Secura should not be the only prequel Jedi I have! Also if I ever see that set with Yoda who has his chair, picking that up too! This might be one of my all-time favorite Black Series figures. The articulation and sculpt is all top-notch. Loving the ball-jointed wrists!

Amazing figure, but I'll probably give it a miss. I'm very selective on what I buy and I just don't really care enough about Ki-Adi to justify getting it.

I was surprised with the ability to pose him he can nail several even with the plastic robes. I sincerely miss the subtle paint details with a flesh tone wash it would really make the face sculpt sing.

My Ki-Adi-Mundi is currently in my loot pile at BBTS and I'll have him shipped out eventually, still waiting for my Destroyers Droids to arrive.

@@davidedge2828 David I meant that my Destroyer Droids aren't available as of yet. I'm still waiting for my pre-ordered Droids to arrive at the company I have my preorder at. Actually I've got 2 on order from Amazon and BBTS. So I'm still in limbo with you on the Destroyer Droids.

I'm trying to be patient and I also have to organize my back room so it's making progress, slowly moved a stack of figures under our bed.(Temporary storage) And got rid of a bunch of old curtain rods that we removed when we moved in. I was going to reuse some of them but I misplaced the hardware to them. Now I'll just buy new ones. So I'm making progress.
Currently we have blinds covering most of our windows, we do have blinds and curtains in our living room and our bedroom. I also found new curtain rods that will work in our kitchen so that's my next project when I feel well enough to drill some holes. A month or so ago we bought new curtains for our bedroom and our back room, so my plan is to
1. Get the rods up in the kitchen
2. Take the bedroom curtains down and wash them
3. Place the new bedroom curtains up
4. Put old bedroom curtains up in the kitchen
I've got a few other projects that I need to complete, installing a new lock on the front door and moving the lock on the back door to a better position and use better quality screws.
Next major project is getting a backup generator hooked up to my home's main board so our entire house will have power when we lose power. Still considering solar panels but that won't work at night without a battery system to store energy. 🤔
So much I want/need to do for our home 🏡

The only (minor) complaint I have about this figure is his expression; the slightly open mouth looks a little awkward to me.
The rest of the figure is pretty dang amazing though, and he will be an excellent start my prequel Jedi collection!

@@OutOfTheBasement They show up randomly across them all. The smaller ones often cancel the orders. EbGames/Zing which are owned by GameStop is where we get most of them but even they don’t get as many as GameStop

In the comparison shots, he looks overall, as a higher quality figure than the other jedi shown. Hasbro looks to have made yet another Banger figure in the line!

Bloody Key Paddy Hyundai... I'm not interested because I haven't got him. I'm now beyond salty about these arse-about-tit transatlantic releases. I've run out of steam having small child tantrums. My foot hurts from stamping it on the floor so much and my pram ran out of teddy bears about two months ago...

For me personally this turned out to be just another bland and boring Hasbro product. I'm surprised no one seems to notice the horrible proportions the figure come with. His arms are almost longer than his legs, shoulders are way too narrow. Those gorilla hands are an eyesore and so are the "new and improved" elbow joints reaching halfway of his forearms. The "revolutionary" wrist ball joints are almost useless, so another downgrade. Other than that, the figure is an absolute banger, like you love to say.
