Nice one Jim. A great tour round some beautiful scenery. Once again a great pitch with a loch view. Shame about the wind but hopefully it kept the dreaded midge at bay. Thanks for sharing mate. All the best. 👍
Brilliant wee video of your 2 day adventure. Well done Mr B. Anything without rain or midgies is a nice day as farm as am concerned lol. I was also surprised to know the ferry was running as I thought it was broke again lol. Great views, great scenery and a very enjoyable watch. Cheers for sharing. I thought I done well yesterday walking Balloch to Helensburgh but not on parr with your adventure. Well done all the best Andy
Glad you enjoyed it Andy.. Did you go over Ben Bouie? Nice part of the Three Lochs Way... Just returned from another gravel type bike pack adventure which was great fun... Really enjoyed this one.. Keep up the good Andy... Cheers - Jim.. 😎😎😎
You know when you're tired and you see the perfect place to stop.. that pickynik table was it.. almost fell off my bike when I hit the brakes. Thank you JP.... 😎
What can I say! This has been a brilliant video! Your downhill cycle ride was really good, cornering perfect. And the views! What can I say! Superb! And another thing, the colour is really good too. Also glad to see you out and about again, you must have been stir crazy! Xx
Thank you mummy - that's cheered me up.. twas nice to be oot on the bike 🚲 again and what a lovely place... May be laid up again for a while as the toe is back... Hopefully it'll pass quickly.. just returned from a camp on a big hill.. bit wet, bit windy this morning but nice last neet. X
Ey up Jimbo, absolutely fandabidozy, seriously I don’t think you’ve had a setting as good as that on any of your adventures, simply stunning. And, I bet you hardly saw another person if anyone did you. Thank you so much for sharing, I loved every minute of it. Cheers mate and all the best, Dav3 😀⛰🥾🚴🏴🏴
Cheers Dav3 😉.. other than a few cars - not a soul... There was a chap way up by his house on the morning of day 2 who stopped to wave down to me which was a lovely moment... Really nice... It tired me out but a nice reminder of what I love most about cycling and camping. Hope you're doing well pal. 😎
@@BoredManOutdoors Doing really well mate. I’m up in the lakes on Saturday so looking forward to that. The video should be up on my channel on Sunday. 😃🥾⛰
Well how the worm has turned mr sunshine, it like cats and dogs down here, I might go this weekend for a wet but wonderful one. Looked a like a great camp and ride, I am sure the under carriage will recover 😂all the best Tito
Like. I'm watching the forecast and it's wet everywhere but Fort Bill... So, nothing left to do but get out there for a little cycletroddling... Tonight is Looking reasonable as well... 😉. I do hope you're all well. 👍
Jim you wouldnt be from Yorkshire by any chance 🤔😆 I have to admit walking around the Dales I wear my Scotland woolly hat, a Jock living in Yorkshire, twice as tight & very deep pockets😆 Nice again mate👌ATB Geo
With regards to the noise of the wind during the night, would it be unwise to wear earplugs to block out the noise i.e. would it make you vulnerable to potentially some menace approaching your tent during the night and you would be none the wiser? Thank you for the video, I holidayed up in the Ardgour area a few years back and crossed over on that ferry, lovely area
Thank you for your lovely message. I do wear ear plugs when it's a noisy windy camp but completely forgot them on this little tour... More often than not I don't need them but when I did... They weren't there.. 🤷. Thank you.. 😎😎🚴
Sound was ok¿ glad you and the bike have been reunited.... great watch. My last vid I accidentally had my GoPro on 60 fps and shutter 1/120 and seemed a better quality (generally 30 and 1/60) give it a go. Brill Loch vista where you camped
Cheers Frank.. I'll have a look at that. I have two running. One is a Hero8, the other a Hero9. Neither higher than 2k or 60fps.. I do need to mess about with them a little more. It was such a lovely surprise to open up over Loch Shiel. Plus I was very tired. Hope you're recovering Frank. Cheers - Jim 😎
That looked an awesome camp spot 👌. You said you had a bit of a windy night, What's that durston tent really like in the wind? Nearly pulled the trigger on one but went for the safety of an Hilleberg Enan instead 👌😉
For a two pole tent it's pretty good. I've got the pro version which offers 12 guy off points.. which include points on the side panels.. I had 11 in the ground that night. The DCF is noisy though.. It could have handled more wind. I just forgot my earplugs... I love it but mines only for summer 🌞
@@BoredManOutdoors Yes the Enan is for the summer or reasonably calm conditions. I have the Soulo as my go to tent, But it is nice to finally have a lighter option . Although I don't consider the Soulo to be Heavy 😉
It’s a great route I generally go the other way round. Was supposed to be doing it next weekend but stuff has cropped up. I never really though of splitting it up into two days and camping. Love the road from Camusnagaul to Corran loads of deer on it early morning. Quite a few nice cottages for sale on the route as well.
@@BoredManOutdoors as I commented on the Luss vid no I’ve gone from 5000 miles a year to only 500 so far. I’m putting things in order at home while the other half is getting his palliative treatment but getting near having things done so will hopefully get out for some rides soon. I’ll need to get a lot of training in to get back to last years fitness.
@@SwampyDuckRidesAgain3636 ahhh I’m sorry to hear that girl... that’s tough for you... I hope it works out ok for you both... 😇.. See what happens.. The DDD is fun but wet.. there’s two versions - a 100 or 2 x 50,s with a camp.. I’m doing the 50’s cos I’m soft..
I had such a lot of problems uploading this video which I think affected the audio sync.. I apologise and beg mercy.. 😎

Bygum it was worth it lovely lovely video Jim.
Thanks Kevin . Lovely place to cycle and camp. 😎

20% grade! Well Done You. Here in Texas (US) an incline of that magnitude is unheard of.
😊 thank you Texas 👋👋😊
Pendulum on a wildcamp... Class 👍
Oh yes.... I forgot my small speaker or it could have been a great night... Love em... 🎸😎

Fair shift oan the gears Jim. 😁🚴 I'd build a cottage there too. A fine camp spot indeed. 👌 Nothing worse than cycling intae the wind eh.
