The PE ratio of the S&P 500 is only 19. The market has room to run. There was just a ton of bad news the past couple months, as well as a lot of profit taking from the summer rally.
the most important part of the intrinsic value calculation is the discount rate you end up using, which you do not talk about at all, just one percent more or less, makes a big difference.

really good video. personally ive learned that the market going down as nothing to do with valuations under, over or at price.All the other crashes/bear markets, comparing overall market was not overvalued, maybe some specific sectors. The same as indivdual stocks how many predicted FB crash, Adobe discount, Texas discount, Alibaba, Tencent,? well it seems from macro to micro the good practice is dont hurry, be patient and buy buy buy big discount solid companies.

What NVDA undervalued?
Here is a short history about CISCO. In my hands I have a 23 years old newspaper. At the high in the year 2000 the estimated PE-Ratio was 137. To be fairly valued, the profit should have grown in the next 18 years 40% per year (at a discount rate of 10%)
7 Months later (Share droped from 80 USD to 52) the PE-Ratio still was 66 and the Cisco should have grow 30% every year.
So, Cisco's share price went sideways 10 or 15 years.
The key question is; what is expected in the share price. The expectations in NVDA are higher today rather in CSCO 20 years ago.

0:18 I find it amusing that publications are still quoting Joh Hussmann, that guy has been expecting the stock market to crash his whole life. He got it right in 2008, so therefore he is ''the guy who predicted the 2008 crash''. People that invest in his fund is basically just getting rid of their money.
Lol that sounds like an excellent strategy to become famous! I'll start crying doom now... I've _got_ to be right some time!
It's like with most of them. They just spam "the market will crash soon" until it happens andnthen they claim they predicted it even though they don't have a clue what they're talking about. Unless you're an insider you can't know if a crash is comming in. One big part of the 2008 crash was institutional Investors gambling with bundles with tons of mortgages in them and a lot of these mortgages where from people that either couldn't or barely could afford it which then caused a chain reaction crashing the housing markets and the value of those bundles. Noone really knew what was in those Bundles except maybe the people creating those to sell them.

You know, even for crash, I think we need to wait until March 2024. Meanwhile, we hope to have the Bear Market rally of this year, either at the end of this October ( Monday or Tuesday ), or after the FED pronounce that wouldnt do a rate hike on November 1st or 2nd.
