I get what you’re saying. After each crash did you do nothing but sit on what you had? That makes a difference too I believe. Im guessing if you have any cash that would be the time to jump in to the market with that cash. After 2008 it took many years to get back to 2008 levels. I agree over time things eventually increase! After every crash I got older too. Not sure the market had anything to do with that. Just saying! I am starting to put stop orders in on my stock now. If nothing happens im still in and should there be a big down turn Ive hopefully minimize losses can then just back in.
Hi Adam, you mentioned you always use stop loss to prevent excessive losses. Then what happened to your Chinese stocks like Baba that you have paper loss of 50%? Did you set a very deep stop loss level that's why it's not triggered? Or these Chinese stocks are not part of your portfolio you have been showing us but a standalone portfolio?

naked (at least put) is not the problem, we all are naked in a way when we own stocks. In the case of James Cordier, he was excessively leveraged, and when his position went wrong, he kept increasing the size asumming it would reverse. So, a risk management failure. James Cordier was one of the first teachers, and interestingly he was focusing on not making these mistakes which he ended up making himself.
Please do a video explain everytime you buy or sell a position. That would be helpful. Portfolio review/update is always the best As I see you have bought some PANW on the dip. Pelosi trade

Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

same principles for business for thinking "how much you can loose" first... you always need to think about the max downside first. And if you cannot survive that max downside if it happens however small chance, you should not go into the biz.

the yield on bonds have decreased especially on the long end (30 and 10 Y) indicating that the demand is still there even if the supply remains huge showing a preference for safety. I'm still at a crossroad regarding whether or not to liquidate my $138k
Adam - really good insights , but everyone should trade their own book and style . Let’s say someone is ultra aggressive , they should get into Smci , as long as they keep capital on the side . Like many others I imbibe things from all , and combine with my own strategies . Only thing I disagree with is all these courses , AI will beat any human being in pattern recognition , so you can built your strategy in the future and let the algorithm do it for you

Ugh, I had a relative big position with meta in the $70 range. Sold it sooo early. A lesson learned. Trust the process.
