Holy crap. I just found mine in a goodwill bag i bought in October 2022 and forgot about. It works great i just had to buy a power supply but goodwill had it for $25 as is on the shelf. According to tascam this was brand new on the market in June 2022 so i basically get it brand new but f only $25. Whi said you can't find deals at goodwill

Nice video brother, I appreciate the insight. I can't decide which mixer to go with. The Mixcast 4 is $312 on Amazon right now, and I would rather not spend $700 on a Mackie or Rodecaster Pro 2. If I were to pair the Mixcast with my Macbook, do you think it would be compatible? Do you record your podcast to an SD card and then transfer it to your computer, or do you record directly to your DAW? Sorry for all the questions lol.
You are welcome! i do not use the mixer and connect them to computers cause i feel like it defeats the purpose of this standalone podcast hardware, however the mixcast is capable for streaming purposes as well- i do not use it that way though. the mixcast is also compatible with mac, see link

overall my approach to podcasting varies, offsite requires different much more simpler take- maybe zoom h6 or rode wireless me, really depends- for studio- this is the one.

Press the Menu icon, then Device, then Bluetooth, then Pairing. Open the Bluetooth menu on the iPhone and select the Mixcast 4 to pair.

@@MrsLewis-bf2vy one you pair your phone in the mixcast 4- all of your audio using your mic will be diverted automatically to the phone. fb call- skype, etc

@@MrsLewis-bf2vy when you paired your phone either via bluettoth or trs cable- all conversation in the phone is recorded- that goes with facetime, fb live, etc.
Please i got the behringer 50usb and only one speaker gives the bass the other doesn’t at all. Is that how it really is?
you might need a left and right 1/4 cable to have both output
Ive had mine for 2 years. Sad that they havent done more with it. No updates , nothing. Very power device but Tascam hasnt done it justice.
where i came from (zoom podtrak p8) completely abandon users with 1 update with only 44.1 khz 16 bit on a very expensive plastic device, i am happy with the tascam mixcast
