Yes. Sony Pro Support says the A7CR and A7Cii will go to 1/250 sync speed, but only with Sony speedlights.

Personally, I don't believe that there is any excuse for cameras costing this much to not have dual card slots, so this is obviously an attempt to segment the camera lineup based upon who they perceive to be pros.
