2:43 I did a big shootout with all the usual 2024 suspects and after about 30 shots with the 10k, I moved to the Qi10 LS and picked up 3mph of clubhead speed and ~16-20 yards. I love the center of the fairway but driver isn't the worst part of my game. I would love to carry the 10k because I carry Blueprint irons. 5-8 yards is an ok tradeoff for the forgiveness, but not up to 20. Couple this with the spirit of the 2024 lineup across all mfgs is forgiveness, I'm ok with the Qi10. My testing isn't done though and I will revisit until the season starts and I make a purchase. Also the sound on the 10k is not particularly pleasant.
I love the Blueprint irons, especially the S model from this year's lineup. As for the rest, it really comes down to each person I think. I didn't see that big of a difference between the Taylormade and Ping versions, but it's exactly why everyone should go get fit. These reviews in my opinion are just to educate on what is out there, but in reality, nobody should be making a buying decision off of them until they test everything.
Mistwood great course ! I’m between the 10kmax and qi10 max. Swing it around 103ish angle of attack around -4 ball speed around 145-150 launching around 9 degrees. Both heads give me my optimal spin rate around 2700ish. Seems like my efficiency and speed is better w the qi10 max but the ping a little better dispersion. Lot of other reviewers believe they can make the standard versions of the ping and tm perform just as good with adjustability and fit. I could see their point. I do believe the ping 10k does bridge the gap between the max and lst though.
I think the 10k has an interesting spot, it's definitely a little slower swing speed, but I think many people will hit it farther because they will just hit it with less curve. I think the biggest thing is to just try them and get fit. 2 years ago I tried the paradym and it was terrible for me, but it's the best selling driver ever. So it's obviously good, but just not for me. This time around with the Smoke, I mash that things. So I would get fit and then trust what works best for you! If it's better numbers with Qi10 max, then you have your answer!
Think I read that the G430 Max MOI is something like 9,000 and the 10K MOI is 10,100. That's a big difference. Typical drivers are gonna be less than 9,000 of the 430 Max, probably 8,000. Sure, it's possible to optimize other drivers for longer distance but there's no way to optimize them for more MOI. Over the course of a season, that's a very big MOI difference on drives.
@@scotthogangolfI got the Paradym TD and had my best round ever, drives that day averaged 282. My avg driving last summer was 250. But Paradym was too demanding come fall and winter. Can't wait for the 10K for many seasons to come.

I was the same as you - dropped a couple of mph of clubhead speed, yet somehow picked up 6-8 yards of carry (!).
I could see that happening for a lot of people. The forgiveness of the flight will really help a lot out even if it's slower club head speed

It wasn't the same data for that shot, I was just showing different shots and the numbers I was getting across a variety of shots.
