Am I the only one that thinks that Kurt's songwriting was really metal? Excluding acoustic songs. Like he would have been a good songwriter for a metal band. Maybe due to the fact that grunge rock has elements of heavy metal.
I agree. I also think Dave Growl would be a good metal drummer. But actually Nirvanas first drummer used double bass a little...fuck what was it...if I Big Cheese has double bass hidden in there lol

I disagree the stunted singing with to many effects at the beginning is awkward the original track was recorded in a way where the notes of the guitar were coming from different directions on your headphones or sound system to give a very dynamic sound witch adds to the unsteady unstable fucked up tone witch goes beautifully with Kurt cobain's clinically depressed singing plus the the lowfi extremely high gain guitars in the chorus are louder than the verses "probably because of the pedals volume being turned up" so when the chorus kicks in it's really loud and jarring unlike this which is all one volume which is kinda boring but what do I know music is subjective

Kurt Kobain's voice leaned heavily toward hardrock/metal than anything else absolutely.
