Warning themes can be classified from average player's perspective as follows: 1) Things are not too bad, and you can still probably fix them without too much damage to the facility. 2) Things are bad. You need very good control over your staff to ensure their survival but be prepared to have some losses. 3) Restart the day or face the destruction of 80% of your facility at best. Obviously for pros (definitely not me) even the worst scenario can be managed with relative ease. Edit: I noticed that you only have 1&2 but I'll leave the description of the 3rd here for the future.
fun fact about lob corp is that the game actually looks at how capable your facility is to find what trumpet to use, so if you can "clear a third warning with relative ease" the game wouldn't even use the third warning. in a high level facility, an aleph breaking out is a first warning. multiple, is usually second trumpet
@@knight7297 it has a warning point system where an aleph gives 75 and first is 10 second is 50 and third is 80 with each department it gets divied so if you have 5 departments a aleph breach becomes 75/5 = 15 so you will get first trumpet only it decreases by 1 every 15 sec
with a bit of extra training and a bit of good moster choices, third warning becomes a sign of fun time began, I third warning day 49 once in a while, for fun of course.
In the game, you wear cognitive filter that translates what you see into Chibi characters so that you, the manager, will not lose your shit when shit rains down on your facility. The song emphasize it by turning the fking alarm into a song. That's why in both of them you can hear the emergency alarm in both song, and it mixed in so fking damn well. The first song also has 2 part. The first is a build up, and it is really slow because someone in your facility just dies, and you have to find the monster doing it. The second part is where you fight it heads on, so the emergency alarm is lower. For the second song, it nearly jumps into the beat because A) your failure in the first song leads to this, or B) something very dangerous just escapes or C) half of your employees just die. There is no need for a build up rn, you have to do something.
I love how you notice the build-up high note in 2nd Warning song, because that note is always giving me a great chill no matter how many times I listening to it, no matter if I just listening casually or listening when play the game (that's mean I'm in F-up situation)
God bless Royicahn for PM's music Patreon requests. I'm very excited to see the next video with LoR, LC or even LCB OST. Also, great reaction and interesting analysis!
Lovely video man! I love your insight into the songs, I’ve seen so many people react to music from project moon games and no once do they seem to disappoint. Cheers to the person who recommended this. Hope you see more of the project moon musics Fun fact, there actually is a third warning, I dunno if he mentioned it, but it goes….bizarre
As you were talking about how insane 1st Warning is, I kept thinking “heh, just wait until he hears 2nd Warning” Edit: I also love it how the first and second warnings both feature sounds that sound like alarms going off in the facility. First Warning sounds like there’s alarms and all, but Second Warning is a perfect theme for when the incredibly dangerous Abnormalities escape, or there’s a multiple containment breach and you have to scramble to fix things.
First Warning: Who? Where? Why? Alright keep calm this is not a reset yet. Second Warning: Freaking Magical Girl! Yeah first warning with that slow build up to give you time to find the problem before it snowballs. Second Warning is when sh*t has already hit the fan and you need to salvage whatever you can.
First time I heard second warning was because I forgot I had a new abnormality. It started playing and I was getting told that random employees are dying and was mega confused. Then I spotted Red Riding Hood sprinting down the halls gunning down everyone and I couldn't stop her.
i like that the first warning adding more and more tension to it its like ''maybe you should fix that'' ''i would like for you to fix that'' ''Fix this right now'' queue second trumpet
I overall just recommend checking the other project moon OST, like the story themes and third warning. hell maybe even ruina's versions of the warnings, because all of them are honestly amazing on their own right
First Warning.) Someone died, probably to something not very dangerous like The Singing Machine. Second Warning.) okay, something or some things just breached their containment units and are running wild in your facility slaughtering everyone in their way. You have to act quickly and it’s urgent that you neutralize the threats quick. Third Warning.) It’s over. All or nearly every one of your employees have died, you know you’re going to have to restart the day all over again. Maybe you learned your mistake from today and will make it to see the next day next time.
YES I loved your reaction and you are not wrong with the sensations!!! also, we have the fact that the game gets absolutely INSANE later. (though these do seem like the highest BPM songs in general)
Just go in with the mindset that you will accept some defeats. Lobotomy Corporation is not a game meant to be won on your first run, that's why there are multiple layers of permanent unlocks (such as monster knowledge and the associated boosts, monster-gifted gear and even permanent upgrades you get from progressing quests). On your first run you are VERY likely to be completely overrun and dead before you even hit 20-25 days. On subsequent runs because you get to start with whatever gear you salvaged and with a bunch of upgrades and quests already done, you'll get a much better head start. Don't be frustrated from losing, it's part of the expected progression. There's no shame in starting over either.
Bro got the debuff !!!!overwhelmed, !!!hopeless, and !!terrified in all in one video😭😭😭😭 bro is going insane💔💔 (in game lore if you get all 3, but good video 🔥🔥🔥)
each song really conveys the situation you're in when it plays. The First Trumpet is tense and stressful, but it's more of an ambiance rather than a situation, and it fits when a few abnormalities have breached and you need to handle the situation accordingly. The Second Trumpet, however, feels stressful and aggressive, and as you said, overwhelming, because it plays when it's complete chaos, and managing to get everything back under control is a challenging task, after dangerous abnormalities breach and a considerable amount of employees have died. it really conveys the feeling of panic in the middle of chaos And then, the Third Trumpet is just awesome, in the sense that it conveys that feeling of awe, of hopelessness in the face of a nearly impossible threat, it may as well be the game's game over ost, because when you hear this, you know that it's over.
hey, lobotomy corporation! i was super surprised to see this on the channel, mainly because i've seen very little about the game since it came out. phenomenal game, but very difficult - i had to take a break after getting stuck partway through the midgame, so listening to the warnings gives me shivers lmao. i'm a big fan of the channel and look forward to more reactions! it's fascinating to hear what depth you can pull from the music you listen to.
