@@poomafk2555 How did you manage THAT chaos disaster? Usually two or three of those are enough to call a game over; how do you get that many of them out?
You're spot on. In LC, you manage employees (or nuggets as they are called in the community) to research creatures called Abnormalities. The first warning is when they get out. The second warning is if a few of them get out or a few of your nuggets have died. The last warning is either when most of your nuggets are dead, a lot of Abnormalities break out, or one of the top tier Abnormality break out. It's so hopeless that you might as well just reset the day.
It's actually impossible for just a single Abnormality escape to trigger Third Warning, at no point in the game does the danger value from having a single ALEPH loose reach Third Warning level. Not even Apocalypse Bird. So when you hear it, you know you not only fucked up massively, but most likely you already failed to bring things under control again The only exception is our Lord and Savior WhiteNight, but it's kind of an exception since it's 12 simultaneous ALEPH entities + 12 deaths.
@@Simon-ur7bi Also, the initial breach of Plague Doctor transforming into WN actually artificially adds 99 to the emergency level, IMMEDIATELY triggering a 3rd trumpet scenario.

First Trumpet: "whoops!" Second Trumpet: "OHGODOHFUCKOHSHITFUCKFUCKFUCKAAAAAAAAAAAA" Third Trumpet: * slams head on desk, sobbing profusely while restarting the day for the fifteenth time * (edited for spelling)
Dunno if anyone told you Initially when these songs were made, there were going to be 7 of them They were inspired off of “The Seven Trumpets of The Apocalypse”, hence why they’re called trumpets in game and not just warnings First Trumpet signifies small amount of death or small amounts of panic. The manager (You.) will need to focus if they do not wish for things to spiral out of control The Second Trumpet is the beginning of the spiral into chaos. It’s imperative that The Manager focuses and deals with things swiftly if they do not wish for things to get much worse or possibly irreparable The Third Trumpet usually signifies The End.. Everyone is either dead, insane, or horrifically injured. Multiple of your teams and crews have been wiped out, monsters beyond reason are finishing off those they can catch or are taking over parts of the facility. Right, also; the whole niche with the songs and how the game plays is/can be summed up with “Everything spirals into chaos” - Release Trailer
Its always very cool to see what people think will happen after Second Warning, because its never quite what they expect. Also really interesting to hear all the sound design talk.
The first warning is there to mainly build up anxiety and to kind of show what we are actually dealing with The second warning is there to build up adrealine and to stay vigilant to every little change that might happen, was it by accident or not The third warning is telling you to just reset the day, its not worth fighting against all that the world has against the few employees alive.
You almost got it, great job, these songs are: 1. Just your everyday "Some eldrith horror escaped it's chamber so we poke it with a stick until it crawls back" 2. More difficult fights, either several eldritch horrors escape at once, or some really big ones. 3. You lose and watch as abovementioned horrors butchhered all your workers and wander the facility, searching for a way out to doom the rest of the world.
1: Awww look at the little bird pecking our agents 2: Okay so Queen of Hatred escaped. Get in there and suppress her. 3: I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH THE BUTTON MANAGER NOOOOO-
The 1st one is a simple alarm where you gotta deal with this threat The 2nd needs you to surpress this thing asoon as possible before anything bigger happens And the 3rd is as if godlike being just dropped from heaven and telling you that "yourr time is up"
You are right on point! To explain the smallest bits of positivity in the third warning: while you are in a state of absolute misery which *almost* could be considered a "Game Over", you can *still* salvage the situation. Without skill you are as good as dead and that warrants a reset of the day, perhaps a week, or the entire run. With it you can get maybe ten men safe out of a hundred. But can you continue with this... Can you rebuild your force?
First warning: "A situation is occuring, dispatch a suppression team to get it under control." Second warning: "Alert! Multiple breaches. Going into full emergency mode." Third warning: "All hope it lost. The abnormalities can no longer be brought under control. All employees that are still alive may use their last moments to pray or take the easy way out. Preparing the facility's self destruction."
1st warning: it's fixable with relatively speaking no losses 2nd: people are going to die or at the very least it's going to be a tough battle with bleak prospects. 3rd: you are already doomed. There is no perceivable way to victory. Not enough manpower to fight. This is the song of the end. Fun fact about third trumpet: a certain entity is so strong that the second it activates the third warning plays. It was believed to be so unkillable during development that it lacks a death animation entirely. It also assaults your ears with aggressive overly loud breathing the entire time you have it in passive mode.
The fun of the First Warning shift with that distorted Roar is that it gives the perfect vibe of having sent your Nuggets to deal with a creature, it's the moment the elevator opens and they open fire And of course, it then returns slowly to silence as the work is finished
6:30 your reaction to the sudden change is so relatable, when I had to deal with it for the first time I was at first uncomfortable but when the sudden change came I just jumped into anxiety
For their debut game, Project Moon did a great job giving the sense of how dangerous and intense it is to work at Lobotomy Corporation. The CEOs of a company that manages monsters don’t care for their employees and expect every problem to be solved by their employees. Note the ALL monsters in this game have the ability to kill employees for a variety of reasons and in a variety of horrific ways.
Funnily enough, First Warning is, of course, a Warning, the game warning you to do something about something going wrong/you are doing wrong. And if you manage to fix it quickly enough, it tends to end before the second part of it (when it becomes a banger), so its just being an annoying siren that is doing it's job lol Edit: Yup, the progress bar disappearing in Third Warning is totally on purpose and can be interpreted as a mirroring of sorts, because Third Warning tends to appear when multiple of the departments you are managing are recked, with electrical system failures and all. So at least that's kind of how I viewed it, just symbolizing that the run is in ruins and you will have to restart the day to restore it. I think I could have summarized my thoughts better but wasn't able right now so, bleh, good enough. Anyways, bangers.
if your looking for more lobotomy corperation songs id HIGHLY recomend the cor suppression aka "Sephirah Meltdown" themes, as in the scope of lobotomy corperation their the best "storytelling" themes. a good example would be Geburas core suppresion themes: Distorted Night and Insignia Decay
1st warning: oh, some thingy escaped, just take care of it, not a big problem 2nd warning: ok, collect yourself, prepare and deal with this before is too late 3rd warning: well, we are doomed, unless you can go back in time, ill see you in the afterlife
A bit of context for the themes of each Warning in-game First: Business as usual. The ongoing threat is manageable and expected. If you don't deal with it it will deal with you however so you should be paying it its due attention. Second: You didn't pay the attention it's due. Either from a lapse of judgment that Day or a previous one, the game is now putting you in the most dangerous position currently available to it. Drop everything and go deal with it or suffer the consequences. Third: The consequences. The game overcame you. Even if you were able to recover from your current position, hearing this theme means that you probably don't have enough to survive the following Days. It is practically this game's Game Over theme.
The shift in the middle of first warning is likely the point where the problem has been identified and you’ve assembled your team to engage, so I can’t help but feel like that section is designed for the “kill it with fire” section of a suppression Also ahahahaha the instant 2nd warning starts my brain is right back into the core suppressions. It feels like tensing every muscle in my arms and face
The warnings correspond quite well to the fear levels in game. First Warning corresponds to fear level 1, Nervous. A small bump in the road, to be acknowledged, managed, and then ignored. Second Warning corresponds to fear level 2, Terrified. This is no trivial threat that prompts a First Trumpet, or at least it currently isn't, but you'd bet your ass your adrenaline processors are working overtime right now so you'll probably be fine. Third Warning corresponds to fear level 3, Hopeless. You've truly entered a situation that cannot (fully) be recovered, as mass termination of high level agents is practically required for the situation to become this dire. I should note, however, that becoming Hopeless does not immediately cause employees to collapse into panic, and likewise it is (at least theoretically) possible to escape a Third Trumpet without completely collapsing. The mildest Third Trumpet causes 11 of your (by now finest) employees to instantly die and become horrifically powerful monsters, though. _For did I not choose you twelve? Yet one of you is a devil._
you should listen too "Too many trumpets" its made by someone else named Aden Mayo who based it off the lobotomy corporation and its for the 3rd trumpet warning in the game that it plays in. Its much more of a "embrace the Symphany of chaos" type of feeling and the moment it plays in the server EVERYONE agrees to band together to stop the causing of it...the birds or in game they may also be called the twilights sense thats their weapon name, and they are a pain to take down and require everyones attention to kill them (theres 3 of them).
Third warning is amazing, to get it to play in-game you’ve got to mess up BAD, like, so bad that there’s usually no point in continuing after such a massive mistake, while it’s usually a mountain of neglect and mistakes what makes third warning play, there’s some abnormalities capable of instantly triggering the third warning, a single mistake mistake with these and you’re absolutely screwed.
There is some kind of an algorithm that makes these themes occur in fitting situations. Like, second warning won't play unless shit really hit the fan and you need to quickly save the day and it's just perfect.
Heres essentially the trumpets First: Manager, a monster has breached containment and has killed a couple of employees. Please take care of it. Second: Manager, about half of your employees have been killed, and another monster has breached containment. Things are growing out of hand. Third: Manager, 80% or more of your employees have been killed, and monsters are freely roaming the facility, chances of recovery are slim, you may as well give up. The more proper term for "monsters" would have been abnormalities -
Trumpet 1: Proceed carfully and thoughtfully and the situation will be under control. Trumpet 2: Decisive action is needed immediately in order to prevent further casualties. Trumpet 3: The situation is now out of your control. There is nothing more that can be done.
"It's bothering me in a good way" *Me having ptsd flash backs to the 345 hours I've put into the game trying to beat it in a deathless run, but ultimately choosing to just finish the game after making it to day 49, with everything else fully completed* I completely understand
I took that information from the Lobotomy Corporation artbook. maybe someone will be interested First warning: The anomaly has escaped and poses a minor threat to the facility and its personnel Second warning: it’s not too late to correct the situation. Of course, this will cost the lives of several employees Third warning: It's a miracle if you can get rid of this crap.. most of the employees are dead.. (the most atmospheric alarm in my opinion) there are also 4, 5, 6 and 7 warning Fourth warning: the object was destroyed. however, so is your management career. Fifth warning: the fourth alarm level was launched in several facilities and branches at once Sixth warning: If you hear this, then we have lost wing status due to escaped anomalies or other wings. the situation is beyond the control and competence of our corporation Seventh warning: however, you still won’t hear it, since you’ll be dead. this is the end. anomalies have driven humanity into irreversible ruins. there is no more hope in this apocalypse. this level of anxiety was prepared for the ABSOLUTE worst case scenario imaginable
The way he described Warning 1 is probably perfect. The other two had their marks hit, but not in the "this is exactly how I feel about this warning song" level of agreement. Also, the lines of "We got the choir of the damned" and "You didn't do it, here we are, Time To Die." Kinda sum up 3rd warning on both sides of what's usually happening during a 3rd trumpet.
He got this mostly right, 1 is "alright lets send our highest level employee and kill this thing" 2 is "oh shit, anyways just blast that thing. Every employee either keep something in or kill this thing." 3 is "oh... guess i'll try my best.."
First Trumpet: oh god MoSB broke out again, somebody go deal with it. Second Trumpet: wait why are half of my alephs out? oh god somebody went insane Third Trumpet: WHY IS EVERYBODY DEAD???
First Trumpet: Oops! That wasn’t supposed to happen! Control team, go suppress it! Second Trumpet: Shit- Everyone on deck! We got a situation, Code Red! Third Trumpet: **Everyone’s Fucking Dead, there’s an Angel/Antichrist roaming the facility-**
First trumpet: ok get serious before things get worse. Second trumpet: I said GET SERIOUS WGAT DID YOU DO! Third trumpet: how are you still alive, just reset the day. Fourth trumpet: IT EXISTS?!
Love all the project moon OST reviews you did! If you ever do more lobotomy corp OST reviews, I would suggest “Gloomy Cathedral” as it is a pretty good theme for one of the characters (Sadly, there is no official video of it but if that’s not problem then that would be great!!)
First Warning: "Goddammit, who breached this time?" (It's Queen of Hatred, it's always her) Second Warning: "Did I forget I left someone in the shelter again? (the answer is yes) Third Warning: *_"Why is the Plague Doctor changing?"_*
Goddammit, this is making me want to go back and try to beat LC again. I bounced off SUPER HARD in the late-game after ENTIRELY TOO MUCH rng bullshit and resetting, but that music... so compelling, and immediately calls to mind all the incredible mystery and intrigue of that damned pit of horror and duty. The goal the game to contain and manage monsters and employee's. The first warning is when one the monsters breaks out might want deal with that. The second warning when multiple escape contain the monsters and fight for your LIFE. The third and final is your facility is lost no living employees left its basically the you lose music. After 3rd warning it's good idea to restart the game or day and start over.

This is the end of the ones you can get in game. fourth trumpet: This facility is done for, same as your role of manager. Fifth trumpet: a majority of abnormalities have reached the surface. sixth trumpet: lobotomy corporation as a whole no longer exists. seventh trumpet: all of humanity is doomed.

So when you hear it, you know you not only fucked up massively, but most likely you already failed to bring things under control again
The only exception is our Lord and Savior WhiteNight, but it's kind of an exception since it's 12 simultaneous ALEPH entities + 12 deaths.
@@Simon-ur7bi
Also, the initial breach of Plague Doctor transforming into WN actually artificially adds 99 to the emergency level, IMMEDIATELY triggering a 3rd trumpet scenario.

2nd warning: Several abnormalities are out, some of our agents are dead, but you can still get the departments under control!

Dunno if anyone told you
Initially when these songs were made, there were going to be 7 of them
They were inspired off of “The Seven Trumpets of The Apocalypse”, hence why they’re called trumpets in game and not just warnings
First Trumpet signifies small amount of death or small amounts of panic. The manager (You.) will need to focus if they do not wish for things to spiral out of control
The Second Trumpet is the beginning of the spiral into chaos. It’s imperative that The Manager focuses and deals with things swiftly if they do not wish for things to get much worse or possibly irreparable
The Third Trumpet usually signifies The End.. Everyone is either dead, insane, or horrifically injured. Multiple of your teams and crews have been wiped out, monsters beyond reason are finishing off those they can catch or are taking over parts of the facility.
Right, also; the whole niche with the songs and how the game plays is/can be summed up with
“Everything spirals into chaos” - Release Trailer
In my opinion the progress bar on 3rd trumpet dissappearing has to be intentional, because for me that really cements the feel of "all is lost"
Its always very cool to see what people think will happen after Second Warning, because its never quite what they expect.
Also really interesting to hear all the sound design talk.
1st warning: Oh no
2nd warning: Oh god! Oh fk
3rd warning: Oh well..
The first warning is there to mainly build up anxiety and to kind of show what we are actually dealing with
The second warning is there to build up adrealine and to stay vigilant to every little change that might happen, was it by accident or not
The third warning is telling you to just reset the day, its not worth fighting against all that the world has against the few employees alive.
You almost got it, great job, these songs are:
1. Just your everyday "Some eldrith horror escaped it's chamber so we poke it with a stick until it crawls back"
2. More difficult fights, either several eldritch horrors escape at once, or some really big ones.
3. You lose and watch as abovementioned horrors butchhered all your workers and wander the facility, searching for a way out to doom the rest of the world.

The 1st one is a simple alarm where you gotta deal with this threat
The 2nd needs you to surpress this thing asoon as possible before anything bigger happens
And the 3rd is as if godlike being just dropped from heaven and telling you that "yourr time is up"
You are right on point!
Almost everyone is dead, maybe, just maybe you got 2 or 3 left, and maybe, just maybe. You can still crawl to the finish line.
unless BS is out
First warning: "A situation is occuring, dispatch a suppression team to get it under control."
Second warning: "Alert! Multiple breaches. Going into full emergency mode."
Third warning: "All hope it lost. The abnormalities can no longer be brought under control. All employees that are still alive may use their last moments to pray or take the easy way out. Preparing the facility's self destruction."
1st warning: it's fixable with relatively speaking no losses
2nd: people are going to die or at the very least it's going to be a tough battle with bleak prospects.
The fun of the First Warning shift with that distorted Roar is that it gives the perfect vibe of having sent your Nuggets to deal with a creature, it's the moment the elevator opens and they open fire
And of course, it then returns slowly to silence as the work is finished
First trumpet: oh no
Second trumpet: OH GOD
Third Trumpet: Time to restart-
6:30 your reaction to the sudden change is so relatable, when I had to deal with it for the first time I was at first uncomfortable but when the sudden change came I just jumped into anxiety
And if you manage to fix it quickly enough, it tends to end before the second part of it (when it becomes a banger), so its just being an annoying siren that is doing it's job lol
Edit: Yup, the progress bar disappearing in Third Warning is totally on purpose and can be interpreted as a mirroring of sorts, because Third Warning tends to appear when multiple of the departments you are managing are recked, with electrical system failures and all. So at least that's kind of how I viewed it, just symbolizing that the run is in ruins and you will have to restart the day to restore it.
I think I could have summarized my thoughts better but wasn't able right now so, bleh, good enough.
Anyways, bangers.
Me when i go into an elementry school: 12:37

That vocal chop is probably symbolising radio chatter when i think about it
First Trumpet: Ignore the small birb.
Second Trumpet: Time to worry! the meat dog got into it's final phase!
Third Trumpet: Everyone is dead.
if your looking for more lobotomy corperation songs id HIGHLY recomend the cor suppression aka "Sephirah Meltdown" themes, as in the scope of lobotomy corperation their the best "storytelling" themes. a good example would be Geburas core suppresion themes: Distorted Night and Insignia Decay
2:24
"Hello?" Awakened my PTSD.
1st warning: oh, some thingy escaped, just take care of it, not a big problem
2nd warning: ok, collect yourself, prepare and deal with this before is too late
3rd warning: well, we are doomed, unless you can go back in time, ill see you in the afterlife
A bit of context for the themes of each Warning in-game
First: Business as usual.
The shift in the middle of first warning is likely the point where the problem has been identified and you’ve assembled your team to engage, so I can’t help but feel like that section is designed for the “kill it with fire” section of a suppression
Also ahahahaha the instant 2nd warning starts my brain is right back into the core suppressions. It feels like tensing every muscle in my arms and face
The second half of First Warning is probably my favorite section of all of these pieces.
1st Trumpet: Nothing there to worry about.
2nd Trumpet: Nothing There to worry about.
3rd Trumpet: Nothing left to worry about.
You also need to hear the Libary of Runia remixes of the three warnings, they are newer and the sequel to the game.
Keter relisation i was crawing that Angela 3 but all i got was FUCKING WIND
13:38 Yea, the same kinda uplift you get when the entire building flares up as it's burning down, and that's canon
13:55 I've always seen this part of third trumpet as triumphant, but it's not your triumph.
you should listen too "Too many trumpets" its made by someone else named Aden Mayo who based it off the lobotomy corporation and its for the 3rd trumpet warning in the game that it plays in.

First Trumpet: Don’t think about it
Second Trumpet: Start thinking about it
Third Trumpet: Yeah, don’t think about it…
There is some kind of an algorithm that makes these themes occur in fitting situations. Like, second warning won't play unless shit really hit the fan and you need to quickly save the day and it's just perfect.
once you hear the choir, just stay and listen to it, contemplate your life choices
Heres essentially the trumpets
First: Manager, a monster has breached containment and has killed a couple of employees.
First Trumpet: Don't be afraid
Second Trumpet: Be afraid
Third Trumpet: BE NOT AFRAID
"It's bothering me in a good way"

I completely understand
I took that information from the Lobotomy Corporation artbook. maybe someone will be interested
First warning: The anomaly has escaped and poses a minor threat to the facility and its personnel
Second warning: it’s not too late to correct the situation. Of course, this will cost the lives of several employees
Third warning: It's a miracle if you can get rid of this crap.. most of the employees are dead..
(the most atmospheric alarm in my opinion)
there are also 4, 5, 6 and 7 warning
Fourth warning: the object was destroyed. however, so is your management career.
Fifth warning: the fourth alarm level was launched in several facilities and branches at once
Sixth warning: If you hear this, then we have lost wing status due to escaped anomalies or other wings. the situation is beyond the control and competence of our corporation
Seventh warning: however, you still won’t hear it, since you’ll be dead. this is the end. anomalies have driven humanity into irreversible ruins. there is no more hope in this apocalypse. this level of anxiety was prepared for the ABSOLUTE worst case scenario imaginable
1st warning: hey this isnt that bad you can handle this
2nd warning FUCKFUCKFUCKSHITFUCKSHITFUCK
3rd warning:..... but that run was going so well
The way he described Warning 1 is probably perfect. The other two had their marks hit, but not in the "this is exactly how I feel about this warning song" level of agreement.
Also, the lines of "We got the choir of the damned" and "You didn't do it, here we are, Time To Die." Kinda sum up 3rd warning on both sides of what's usually happening during a 3rd trumpet.
first trumpet is panic, second trumpet is struggle, third trumpet is death.
First trumpet: nothing there to worry about
Third trumpet: there is Nothing There to worry about
