I need more practice with clear coats. I also need to pick one and stick with it so that I know how it works and how to get the best out of the product. Right now I'm testing to see which one I like the best. This was very helpful, thank you for sharing.
that turned out amazing! I have an older hard body RC that I did a few years ago so i will try this on that body first, If i mess it up its just a runner that i use
Thanks for this instructional video. It will help me, I believe? Cause I was doing it completely different! So I'll give this a shot? But this makes total sense to me why it would work? So again, thank you... ✌

I definitely need clear coat skills, I tend to go to thick on the body moldings. That cameout beautiful
These are the results I want! Thanks for the video!

I just use pledge floor future on top of my full model and decals
I have done this as well, but have found that over white this tends to yellow/brown in some areas.
Nice tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video Dylan. That body looks fantastic. Ron
Nice tutorial, I'm going to try this method next time Dylan.

Great tutorial, came out very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Thank for the tips on it.
Benefits of 2K clear is that it’s mild for decals.
Thank you for this, do you use a clear coat prior to applying the decals as well?
Would the Tamiya XF86 work for this? I tend to brush paint.
I wouldn't recommend it because it is water-based. Also, I would not recommend floor powers either because a year or two it will start cracking.
Before applying the decals, is their a Gloss Coat? or directly on to the painted body?
It's optional you can put on one coat of clear before decals.
Are you clearing over gloss enamel? Sanded?
How do you keep it from running?
nice job
Nice thanks...
